When she came to her senses, Melissa found herself being carried on someone's shoulders, now standing ten meters away from where she had just been.

Boom! Boom!

The sound of collapsing walls filled the air, followed by the rumbling of the ground shaking beneath them.

Itadori didn't care which unlucky people were caught in the wreckage.

"Wow... so awesome!!"

Melissa looked at Itadori with admiration in her eyes, "That was The World, right? It's incredible! It's just as powerful as Uncle All Might!"

Itadori was momentarily caught off guard by the comparison, "I thought you were going to ask me why I didn't save the others."

He set Melissa down gently.

Melissa paused, looking at the civilians who had unfortunately been hit by falling debris behind her. She sighed with pity, "The United States doesn't have a hero like Uncle All Might, so things like this happen frequently..."

She then looked at Itadori, her tone slightly puzzled, "And why am I saying this to you? You already saved me."

By the way, this event plays a crucial role in the world of My Hero Academia.

"Hahahaha!"

Itadori was momentarily stunned by Melissa's comment and then bent over in laughter.

Melissa blinked, confused by why he suddenly laughed.

Another reason Itadori was reluctant to be a hero was that too many people in this world were always looking for something to complain about.

Even if you saved people, there would still be countless individuals finding fault with you.

If 100 people were trapped and you saved 99 of them, no one would praise you for rescuing those 99 people. Instead, they would blame you for not saving the last one.

If you can't save everyone, it's better to not save anyone at all.

Itadori didn't care about what others thought, but it disgusted him.

It disgusted him so much that if anyone dared say something like that to him, he might just snap their neck.

To be honest, even within Class A, some people might have such overwhelming senses of justice. These people were often the ones Itadori disliked the most.

If Melissa had blamed him for not saving everyone, he would have made sure she remembered that moment forever.

"Did I say something funny?"

Melissa still couldn't understand, her large eyes full of confusion.

"No, nothing."

Itadori suddenly leaned closer to Melissa's face, pinching her cheeks gently, "I just realized you're a very attractive woman."

"Eh!"

Melissa's face turned slightly red, and she instinctively took a couple of steps back.

Embarrassed, she brushed her golden hair and awkwardly changed the subject, "But unfortunately, the robber ran away..."

Boom!

Just as Melissa finished speaking, something fell from the sky about twenty meters ahead, narrowly missing a parked van.

"Huh?!"

Melissa was startled and ran over to inspect.

There, lying on the van's dented roof, was the robber, who had apparently fallen from the sky. His hands and feet had turned into wings and bird claws, and a plastic bag full of money hung from his body.

"Isn't that the robber who just flew out of the Walmart building?"

The crowd gathered around in shock.

What shocked Melissa even more was the sight of icicles piercing through the robber's wings.

Just like last night.

What was going on?

Melissa turned to look at Itadori, and it was clear that this was somehow related to him. But Itadori wasn't known for his ice powers.

His opponent in the final of the U.A. Sports Festival had used ice. Could that be the connection?

"Let's go. I only have half a day left to enjoy this place."

Itadori walked over and grabbed Melissa's hand, this time holding it tightly, not letting go.

Melissa's astonishment quickly turned into a feeling of shyness.

While American culture is known for being open, Melissa's personal feelings had always been more reserved, especially in matters of love.

In the next few hours, they visited many of Hawaii's famous spots, but Melissa still didn't understand why Itadori seemed so much kinder to her after she'd said that.

Did she get the message?

As Itadori's actions became more intimate—holding her hand, then hugging her waist, and even touching her lower back—Melissa flushed deeply, initially reluctant but eventually accepting.

Unfortunately, Itadori had to take a special plane back to Tokyo that night.

The return journey would take more than ten hours, and they arrived just in time for the plane.

The sunset was visible at the airport.

Melissa smoothed her bangs in front of her face, reflecting on the day's experiences. She smiled softly, "Itadori, I'll come see you again."

"Thank you." She added.

Itadori smiled back and gently kissed the back of her hand before turning to leave.

To be honest, he didn't expect anything to come of his relationship with this American beauty.

In his previous life, he had always believed long-distance relationships, especially cross-border ones, were impossible.

Standing at the airport window, watching the special plane take off, Melissa quietly smiled to herself. After a long while, she took out her phone and set a photo of herself and Itadori as her screen saver.

Ring! Ring!

Just then, Melissa's phone rang, showing the caller ID, "Dad."

"Hello, Dad!" She answered in English.

"Hey, Melissa, why haven't you come back yet?" A middle-aged voice asked.

"I'll be back soon, Dad. What's up?" She replied, wiping a tear from her eye as she walked back out of the airport.

"Didn't I tell you? We're inviting All Might to I-Island next month. You're going to pick him up at the airport, right? Aren't you excited to meet him?"

Melissa smiled a little but, after everything she'd experienced, didn't feel as excited as she used to.

During the weekend, the class learned from the news that Iida Tenya's brother, Ingenium, had been seriously injured.

Intentionally or unintentionally, they avoided the topic and discussed the disruptions caused by the U.A. Sports Festival.

The incident had brought Class A a lot of attention from society.

On their way to school, many of them were surrounded by curious passers-by asking questions.

"How about you, Momo?" Ashido asked Momo.

"Well... I was driving, so I didn't run into anyone to talk to. What a pity." Came the reply from Momo.

"By the way, where's Itadori?" Izuku asked.

Just as he finished, a loud roar echoed from the playground outside.

Class A turned to see a helicopter hovering above them.

Itadori suddenly jumped from the helicopter, grabbed the window sill of the Class A classroom, and effortlessly swung himself into the room.

Everyone was stunned by his high-profile entrance.

Momo was the first to react, walking forward with a smile, "Itadori, you're back!"
