Akira stared at her reflection, bewildered. Her eyes gleamed with an intense, bright emerald green light, like a beacon in the darkness. She had no idea why or how this was happening.
"What's happening to me?"
"Why are my eyes changing?"
"Why don't I know about this?" Akira wondered, her voice barely above a whisper. "What's going on with my dreams? Why not it's normal?"
Confused and uncertain, Akira considered confiding in her parents. However, they were always busy with work, their faces will shrouded in concern.
"I'll keep it to myself for now," Akira decided, a shiver running down her spine.
The next day, Akira shared her vivid dreams with her friend Yui at school, careful to omit the part about her glowing eyes.
"I had the craziest dream last night," Akira said, her eyes darting around the room.
Yui listened intently, her brow furrowed.
At lunchtime, Akira discovered new fish tanks in the school courtyard, filled with colorful fish swimming in synchronized harmony.
"I'll see you every day, Fishy!" Akira exclaimed, her excitement momentarily displacing her worries.
But her joy was short-lived.
The next day, Akira arrived at school to find all the fish dead, their lifeless bodies floating on the surface.
Shocked, Akira glanced out the window, and her eyes flickered green. Quickly, she hid it from Yui.
"Uff, I'm really caught this time," Akira thought, panic rising. "What's happening? I have to find out why my eyes are like this."
As she turned to leave, a chilling message reached her ears: "They're watching you, Akira."
Akira's heart skipped a beat.
"Whose voice is this?" she whispered to Yui.
Yui shook her head. "Who's voice?"
Akira's mind raced. Who could be watching? And why?
As she pondered, a shiver ran down her spine. She felt eyes upon her.
Scanning the room, Akira noticed a figure lurking in the shadows.
"Yui, do you see that?" Akira whispered.
Yui followed Akira's gaze.
"Who is that?" Yui asked.
The figure vanished into thin air.
"What's happening?" Akira wondered.
Suddenly, her emerald green eyes flickered.
"Akira, what's wrong?" Yui asked.
"Nothing," Akira replied.
But the truth lingered in the shadows.
That night, Akira received a mysterious message...
To be continued...
