Jenna stood proudly in front of her gang, completely unaware that most of them had surpassed her in both intelligence and physical prowess. The zombie with the electric ability was now casually zapping rocks for fun, while the camouflaging zombie blended in and out of sight at will. Meanwhile, Jenna was trying to figure out how to fit an entire dumpster into her spatial space.
"Come on... just... a little... more!" she grunted, shoving the giant metal bin halfway into the void.
Carl watched, shaking his head. "Jenna, that's not how spatial storage works. It's not about forcing things—"
"There!" Jenna exclaimed as the dumpster finally disappeared. She turned to Carl with a satisfied grin. "See? Told you I could do it."
Carl blinked. "But... why do we need a dumpster?"
Jenna thought for a moment. "Uh... to, you know, throw stuff away?"
The other zombies groaned. They had developed enough intelligence to understand how absurd that sounded. Carl sighed and rubbed his temples. "Okay, look. Forget the dumpster. We need to focus on what's important. Now that your gang is evolving, we need to figure out how to use their abilities efficiently."
Jenna nodded enthusiastically, even though she clearly had no idea what Carl was talking about. "Right! Efficiently!"
Carl turned to the group. "Alright, let's start with you," he said, pointing to the zombie with electrical powers. "You're going to be our long-range fighter. Use those sparks to keep enemies at a distance."
The zombie nodded, electricity crackling between his fingers.
"And you," Carl continued, looking at the camouflaging zombie, "you'll be our scout. Sneak in, find out where the humans are hiding, and report back."
The camouflaging zombie groaned softly and melted into the shadows.
Jenna clapped her hands. "Great! Teamwork!"
Carl stared at her. "Do you even know what I'm talking about?"
Jenna blinked. "Totally. Teamwork. Like... we all work together, right?"
Carl sighed. "Close enough."
