Chapter 6 - DRAGON AUTHORITY 1

Leo back in his room in the afternoon lays in his large bed, comfortably sitting on it and holds his pillow, fluffy and warm.[" Well at least I understand the feeling of a bed, no wonder she never slept in yhe stars with me."] He lays on the bed and looks at the ceiling thinking to himself about the prophet.

Leo looked at his hand, [" I can feel the authority of creation but not only that,"] as golden energy flows to his fingertips as he sways it left and write,[" but what can this be? It's not magic nor aura, not demi-god divinity as well."]. His mother had warned him about the ability the heart family use instead of other energys—["The curse we bare was made to help by a great person, but it still holds the madness of the dragon king, your young but you will go through the family's right soon enough."] she said. And she was never straightforward with me. Energy in the hands of a young boy with weak body was dangerous—doubly so if it was discovered. It would mark that child as a near dead body to the pharmacists. No one would help cause it takes the life of the child... or worse, falling to madness.

["They are using the curse to absorb dragon's energy, that would make then a dragonic human. With a human body they can use my power,"] He smirked as he looked [" Humans can really do anything to survive."]

But Leo could feel it now—not only the energy but something similar to the authority of creation. The energy pulsed beneath his skin, like a heartbeat of its own, eager to be released. And now, with the sun setting from the sky, it felt as though something within him was on the verge of breaking free.

He decides to test out this power, flowing it to his left arm when it starts to show his golden scales he had when a dragon. His eyes widen with joy and surprise.

["It's my own power, the one without help of father's power, an authority. "] He retracts his power,[" but it's weaker than that of creation, but I can feel it, the chance to grow."]

Taking a deep breath, Leo stood from the bed and moved to the center of the room. His shoes scraped lightly across the painted stone floor, the noise stark in the stillness.

His gaze flickered to the book he was given by his mother as a gift. Though just by looking at it he could tell that his mother spent quite some money even in this already falling family. Just cause he was leaving comfortably does not mean that he can't see the family's money situation.

Leo closed his eyes, focusing. He could feel the pulse of energy within him, [" Let me right how I can use my power."] As he felt it like a current running through his veins. The words came to him in fragments—the authority's power, fragments of power he hadn't learned, but could somehow know. He whispered them, low but confident, sure if they would work.

He wrote it very fast.

Joyfully,Leo whistles, his foot matching the flow of the whistle. He felt peaceful, like how he felt in the stars, looking at the worlds.

It felt like it was a story of dragons, there laws and the customs he made for the dragons to follow but not only his but the rest of his othe creations. He felt the like they were one and together.

He felt this.

He stretched out his hand to look at the flow of energy. Slowly, his fingers began to become dragon claws as though he could destroy the building.

He concentrated his power outward then a gust of wind swirled through the room, rattling the window. The blankets moving dangerously fast.

And then the book started to absorb his power.

Ethan's eyes snapped open, his heart racing. The book levitated— over an inch above the desk, but it was enough. A tremor of pure energy ran through the room, making the air feel thick, like it was full of smoke. Leo smiled looking at something amazing, his breath deep with anticipation. He could feel it now—the energy, a force beyond his understanding, almost alive, but he could tell, it was his authority transforming the book.

But then, without warning, the book dropped with a loud thud, and the force of it sent a shockwave through the room. The desk trembled, bur what was amazing was the book, covered in his own golden scales and releasing his power.

Leo walked foward, his book heaving as his mind raced. The book lay where it had fallen, silent once more, but the room still hummed with an eerie energy. He wiped his face, feeling the sweat slick on his brow. His power—his authority —was more complex than he had realized.

The door to the corridor outside creaked open, and Leo froze. He hadn't heard anyone approach. A figure stood in the doorway—a servant.

["Your Highness?"] a voice whispered, hesitant.

Leo calm, hiding his heart still pounding.["did she see?"] Thinking to himself.

He quickly gathered himself, masking the excitement in his voice. ["Leave Karl. I'm fine."]

The servant hesitated, and for a moment, Leo thought Karl might have noticed something. The air was still thick with authority. But the servant simply nodded, his face uncertain.

["As you wish, Your Highness. But if you need anything, I'm at the end of the hall."]

Leo nodded, and as soon as the door closed, he let out a breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding. His heart was still racing, and the pulse of authority within him had grown stronger. He could feel it, pressing against his ribs, near his heart.

He looked down at his hands. He could truly feel and understand why authority is needed—the heavy, invincible feeling that was in him.

["This authority deserves a name. A power reserved for dragon kind. DRAGONAUTHORITY."]
