Aria suddenly sat up, her eyes sparkling with an idea.
"Let's make dinner together," she said, her voice filled with excitement.
I raised a brow, surprised. "Dinner? The two of us? You do realize I'm the king, right? I have no idea how to cook."
She laughed, the sound light and contagious. "Exactly. That's why it'll be fun. Come on, Magnus. It's just us tonight. Let's do something different."
I couldn't say no to her when she looked at me like that, her eyes wide with anticipation. "Fine," I relented with a smile, "but don't blame me if I burn the entire kitchen down."
She grinned, grabbing my hand and pulling me toward the kitchen.
When we arrived, the kitchen was bustling with activity, as always. Maids and cooks moved about, preparing for the evening meal. But this time, I had other plans.
