Wen Nuan felt awkward as every person in the room looked at her, each of the three women present was not to be trifled with, they all had a stronger presence than she did, and their stares were unsettling. Yet, despite feeling uneasy, there was something she had to say.

Xu Nuo signaled to the waiter to bring some of the cafe's famous pastries. Their conversation was interrupted by Wen Nuan's stomach, and soon the waiter brought over four different kinds of cakes and pastries.
Wen Nuan's eyes bubbled with excitement, finally something to eat.
