Lai Bao was being led by Mu Bai, their fingers tightly interlocked. Her thoughts were in complete disarray, her heart thumping wildly. She couldn't hear any of the shocked murmurs and discussions from the crowd behind her—she only knew to follow the man in front of her.
Her mind was flooded with far too many questions, already unable to differentiate reality from fiction.
"Lai Bao, wait for me."
Wang Zishu left behind a bunch of people staring in disbelief and chased after Lai Bao and Mu Bai.
It wasn't until they reached the incredibly ostentatious Lamborghini supercar that he let go of her hand, and the three of them got into the car.
"Where to?"
"Let's drop Zishu off first."
Lai Bao calmly recited Wang Zishu's address, yet her palms were already covered in fine sweat.
