When Michael activated his Dream Fighter skill he found himself inside a boxing ring.
When inside this boxing ring there was another quest window beside him. This quest window didn't have anything he seen before on it. Instead it was just a list of boxers on that window. So he randomly chose one and that boxer appeared in front of him.
The boxer he chose was 'Deontay Lury'. Jake's older brother.
As Deontay walked closer and closer to Michael he started throwing more and more punches. Deontay threw so much punches that Michael got cornered. Michael tried to dodge as many punches as he can but nothing seemed to work. Deontay landed one hard punch at Michael and he got knocked out.

Would you like to fight again?
[Yes] [No]

'Yes'
Michael repeated the same process for 100 times. Try to dodge Deontay's punches, gets cornered, gets knocked out, and repeat.
When he got out of Dream fighter mode it was already night time. His roommates weren't back yet so he went out to the gym to check for them.
"Still training Rick?"
"Yep! Realized my skills aren't good enough to win this."
"Do you know where Jake is?"
"No, I thought he said he went back to our room."
"Didn't see him there."
"I don't know then."
Michael went for another training session, inspired after seeing Rick still train on the same day as his fight.
The 'Dream Fighter' skill didn't tire him out that much while he was fighting Deontay's simulation but after he felt like he just did 100 rounds of boxing.
'Maybe this will transfer to my physical ability.' Michael pondered.
After training Michael took a shower and went to bed. When Michael fell asleep he saw a quest window.

Would you like to use skill
[Dream Fighter]?
[Yes] [No]

'Yes'
Michael forgot the name of this skill 'Dream Fighter'. Of course he can fight in his dreams. He then chose a different boxer and went the whole night "Dream Fighting". This time the boxer he picked was more equal to him (although the boxer Michael picked was a bit stronger). He actually won 40% of the fights and the number kept going up as he fought.
When Michael woke up he still felt well rested, but he felt like he had 10 boxing matches back to back the previous day.
'I have to train harder,' Michael thought. Michael thought that if Rick, a superior boxer to him, wanted to train on the same day he had a fight then that means these fights are gonna be really hard.
So Michael started training. For a whole week (his fight was in a week) Michael used Dream Fighter every night, did his daily quest 5 times every morning, sparred with every other boxer he could find, and punched the heavy bag for hours on end in the evening.
Now all that was left was the fight and rewards.
