Chapter 132 - Reassurance

Mahnoor gently pulled away from Daemond's embrace, her hands still resting on his chest. She looked up at him, her eyes soft but steady. "Daemond," she began, her voice soothing, "the way you made me release earlier was more than enough. It was incredible, really."

Daemond's gaze was still intense, but there was a flicker of relief in his eyes as he listened. "You don't need to worry about not being enough for me," she continued, her voice firm yet gentle. "What we share, what we've experienced together... it's more than enough for me. You've already given me more than I could ask for."

He seemed to struggle with her words, his expression shifting between doubt and a glimmer of hope. Mahnoor reached up and placed a comforting hand on his cheek. "You've made me feel loved and desired in ways I didn't expect. I'm here with you because of who you are, not because of what you think you can or can't give me."

Daemond's shoulders seemed to relax a bit, though the tension in his body still lingered. He looked down at her, a mixture of gratitude and uncertainty in his eyes. "But what if... what if I still can't give you everything you want?"

Mahnoor shook her head slightly, her eyes locked onto his with unwavering sincerity. "It's not about having everything. It's about being together, sharing what we have. You've already given me so much, and I'm not looking for anything more than what we have right now."

He nodded slowly, still processing her words but visibly comforted by her reassurance. "I just don't want to lose you," he admitted quietly, his voice filled with vulnerability.

"You won't lose me," Mahnoor promised, her tone firm and reassuring. "Not because of what you can or can't do. I'm here because I choose to be, because I care about you."

Daemond's eyes softened, and he took a deep breath, seeming to take in her words. The intensity in his expression began to fade, replaced by a sense of calm that hadn't been there before. He took her hands in his, holding them gently.

"Thank you," he said, his voice filled with gratitude. "For being here. For understanding."

Mahnoor smiled, a tender expression that spoke of her own feelings and commitment. "Always, Daemond. We're in this together."

As they stood there, their hands entwined, the room seemed to fill with a new sense of clarity and mutual understanding. The fears and doubts that had been hanging over them began to dissipate, replaced by a renewed sense of connection and trust.
