As Elian jogged back to defend yet another corner, Meta's voice rang in his head.
"You know, you're not doing yourself any favors standing there like a glorified training cone," Meta said dryly. "If you're not going to use your skills, at least pretend you're trying."
"I'm literally running my legs off," Elian muttered under his breath, his frustration boiling over.
"Running isn't the same as thinking. You've got Visionary and Skill Boost ready. Why don't you try, oh, I don't know, using them?"
Elian clenched his fists. "I can't just waste them every time we're under pressure. What happens when we need a counterattack later?"
"If you don't stop this pressure now, there won't be a later," Meta retorted. "You can't win if you don't have the ball."
