After the Leaf Village forces eliminated many Mist-nin, they quickly entered a period of rest, cleaning up all traces of battle around the small island in the shortest time possible.

Yamato approached Naruto and suggested, "Captain, should we stay here or move to another location? If we stay, we'll need to make some preparations."

Naruto nodded in agreement. Yamato was right; both staying and leaving had their advantages.

Naruto replied, "The Mist-nin have likely retreated to another large island to establish their base. If we go back, it might hinder our operations."

"It's better to stay here. It's riskier, but it gives us more mobility." Yamato agreed with Naruto's reasoning.

Naruto gathered everyone and announced, "We'll use this place as a temporary base. Set traps around the perimeter to prevent surprise attacks."

"Unless something unexpected happens, we'll engage the enemy from here."

By now, the Leaf ninja had complete trust in Naruto's words. Upon receiving his orders, they immediately sprang into action.

In no time, they had set up a basic temporary base. Using his Wood Style, Yamato constructed a few makeshift shelters, a luxury for shinobi on a mission.

After winning a major battle with hardly any losses, the Leaf shinobi, having secured the island, gathered for a small victory celebration.

As their Captain and having taken down many enemies during this mission, Naruto was the focus of admiration at the celebration.

Everyone praised him sincerely, showering him with compliments. Naruto, however, remained humble, which only endeared him to his comrades.

While Naruto was strict during missions, he was approachable and friendly.

The group felt like a family in a short time, bonding seamlessly. On the other hand, the situation for the Mist-nin was quite different.

A whole day had passed, and none of the ninjas sent to chase Naruto had returned to regroup on the island.

Although the Mist leader had great confidence in his men, a sense of foreboding crept into his mind.

First, their ship was blown up. Then, a swift and mysterious enemy appeared, and now, the pursuing ninjas have no news.

Although they had established a temporary base on a larger island and set everything in place, the unfortunate events deeply unsettled the experienced leader.

Standing by his side, the second-in-command noticed his brother's troubled expression. He, too, shared similar concerns.

Worried, he said, "The Third Brother might be in trouble. As much as he loves to fool around, there's no way he wouldn't have regrouped with us by now."

"And worse, we haven't heard from Sanno and his squad either. They may have all been wiped out."

The one called "Blood-soaked Demon" echoed the Mist leader's darkest thoughts—thoughts the leader was unwilling to accept.

He shook his head and said, "Even if the Third Brother didn't defeat the enemy, no one I've seen is faster than him."

"Even if he failed, his chances of being killed are slim unless he ran into someone like the Raikage or Konoha's legendary Yellow Flash."

Blood-soaked Demon replied, "Big Brother, while it's true the Yellow Flash of the Leaf died a long time ago, there's always a chance that another could have risen."

"The Third Brother could be in real trouble if such a person exists. Ugh, war is always so cruel."

Suddenly, the Mist leader, known as "Bloody Tempest," slammed his fist into a large boulder, shattering it in his rage.

"If anyone dared kill the Third Brother, I'll tear them apart! I'll make them pay!" he roared.

"Send out scouts immediately. Find out where the enemy went and report back as soon as you spot them!"

Blood-soaked Demon quickly relayed the order, and the Mist-nin immediately searched for the enemy.

The Mist Village ninjas moved cautiously, having learned a hard lesson from the complete annihilation of their previous pursuit team.

This experience made them very wary but slowed their progress significantly.

By noon the following day, they finally located the small island where Konoha had established a base.

Their heightened alertness prevented them from getting too close, especially since their sensory ninjas had all been taken out, leaving them uncertain about the situation on the island.

Meanwhile, Hinata spotted them with her Byakugan, while the Mist ninjas remained oblivious, wandering around the island.

Suddenly, a flash of lightning struck. They were eliminated before the Mist ninjas could even comprehend what was happening.

Some Konoha Anbu emerged to handle the bodies. Naruto sheathed his Raijin Sword and said to Hinata,

"Thanks to your Byakugan, we could detect the enemy in advance. Otherwise, taking them down wouldn't have been so easy."

Looking down shyly, Hinata replied, "I just happened to use my Byakugan to observe while training, and I didn't expect to see them wandering around."

The appearance of these ninjas made Naruto realize that the enemy was still unaware of his exact location and was trying to find him, giving Naruto the upper hand.

At the Mist's temporary base, a large man was fuming, "Why haven't our dispatched men returned?"

"Even if they can't find the enemy, they should send some information! What are these useless fools doing? When they get back, I'll make them pay."

Beside him, a bloodthirsty warrior said, "Brother, they probably won't return. The situation is getting more brutal."

The large man found this hard to believe. "Are you saying they've already been eliminated? Did the enemy discover them while they were scouting?

Do they have strong sensory ninjas?" The bloodthirsty warrior nodded, "It seems that way."

The large man furiously ordered, "Send out more men to search! The enemy should be nearby. We must find them!"

With this command, more Mist ninjas began to organize a systematic search.

Gradually, they realized that only the ninjas who appeared around the small island they referred to as "Island No. 2" were mysteriously disappearing.

This information reached the leader of the Mist Village. As an experienced ninja, he quickly deduced that the enemy was stationed on Island No. 2.

After much effort, they finally located the place, but at a great cost: many of their ninjas had been eliminated around Island No. 2, which had effectively become a death trap.

This time, the Mist Village was ready to take action. They aimed to eliminate these detestable enemies.

As the leader, the large man was particularly concerned about his younger brother and was eager to tear the enemy apart.

Naruto and Konoha's Anbu had been hiding on the island for a long time, eliminating any Mist-nin they spotted.

This was all thanks to Hinata's Byakugan, which allowed her to detect enemies in advance, even through obstacles.

However, since Hinata's limited chakra, she couldn't constantly keep her Byakugan activated.

As time passed, some Mist-nin would inevitably slip through.

Naruto understood that their location would eventually be discovered, but he aimed to use this advantage to weaken the enemy as much as possible.

One night, Naruto went out to patrol as usual.

Hinata accompanied him, and even though the Anbu were taking turns standing guard, Naruto would still occasionally ask Hinata to use her Byakugan to scout.

After activating her Byakugan, Hinata seemed to notice something. Naruto didn't interrupt her, and after observing for a moment, she said, "I've spotted a large group of Mist-nin approaching stealthily."

"Judging by their numbers, it seems like they've sent everyone, and two particularly strong chakra signatures are among them. It looks like we've been discovered."

Naruto asked, "How far away are they?"

Hinata checked and replied, "They're still some distance away and moving very slowly. It will take them some time to get here."

Naruto thought it over.

It seemed the Mist-nin were trying to approach without being detected, likely planning a surprise attack while also being wary of Konoha's traps, which explained their cautious advance.

But the situation had changed thanks to Hinata's Byakugan spotting them early.

Naruto quickly gathered the Anbu squad leaders and said, "The Mist-nin have deployed their entire force."

"Soon, they may surround the island. You'll all lead the others and retreat. Leave this to me."

Yamato quickly protested, "The enemy's strength is unknown. It's too dangerous for you to face them alone. We should ambush them together."

Naruto responded, "Do as I say. I won't engage them head-on. Even if I can't win, I can escape. You've seen my speed."

Reluctantly, the others nodded and began retreating with the rest of the group. Naruto remained on the island alone, waiting for the enemy's arrival.

Truthfully, the power difference between the two sides was significant, and Naruto planned to use the traps on the island to take out as many enemies as possible.

First, he memorized the locations of the traps and then created several wooden clones to help monitor the enemy's movements.

Unaware of Konoha's strength, the Mist-nin had already suffered several setbacks.

Taking extreme caution, it took them a long time to start their landing. Naruto's clones spotted them, observing that without any sensory ninjas, the Mist-nin were visibly tense with each step.

Suddenly, a voice broke the silence—one of Naruto's clones stepped out of the forest, saying, "Finally, it took you long enough to get here.

I was getting bored. Don't tell me you're just a bunch of small fry."

Naruto's sudden appearance signalled to the Mist-nin that their infiltration had failed.

Gripping their weapons tightly, they recalled the rumours about the deadly threat lurking on this island, which had already made some of them uneasy.

A booming voice called out from the rear, "So cautious, and yet we were still discovered. You must be the one who blew up the ship."

"How did you survive our Third Brother's attack? What happened to him?"

As the voice spoke, the Mist-nin parted to reveal a massive man stepping forward, accompanied by someone who looked strikingly similar to the ninja who had pursued Naruto earlier.

Naruto pointed at the ninja beside the large man and said, "Are you talking about that idiot who looks like this guy?"

"He came after me alone and got himself killed. Oh, and I think you sent some reinforcements after him, too. They're dead as well."

Naruto's words enraged the big man. He shouted, "You bastard, I'll smash you into pieces!"

Before his words finished, he punched at Naruto's clone, but the clone swiftly dodged.

The punch hit the ground, creating a large crater, and the shockwave caused the ground around them to tremble.

The sheer force behind the punch was comparable to Tsunade's monstrous strength.

The clone quickly fled into the forest, with the giant man chasing after him, throwing punches along the way.

His companion, the "Blood-soaked Demon," yelled after him, "Big brother, be careful of traps!"

But the big man ignored the warning, focused solely on attacking Naruto.

Blood-soaked Demon sighed in frustration, "So much for the plan. We'll just have to work with this now."

He shouted to the Mist-nin behind him, "Everyone, attack with full force! We must eliminate all of them!"

Even though they knew the forest was likely filled with traps, the Mist-nin had no choice but to charge forward under the pressure of their leader's command.

Despite his immense strength, the giant man was slower in speed.

Naruto's clone skillfully lured him into the traps, but the big man struggled to take down the clone even with the traps' hindrance.

Meanwhile, the Mist-nin who entered the forest triggered several traps.

Though some of them were killed, most of them were skilled enough to survive.

Naruto's other clones appeared, scattering the Mist-nin further into smaller groups throughout the forest.

At this point, Naruto's real body finally entered the fray. Flashes of lightning zipped through the forest, each accompanied by agonized screams.

The dying cries of their comrades shook the Mist-nin's morale, and fear of death began to creep into their minds.

Even though they became more cautious, Naruto's speed allowed him to swiftly attack, leaving behind blood and destruction with each strike.

Had the Mist-nin stayed together, they might have stood a chance, but being scattered made them easy targets, like lambs to the slaughter.

Although a few of the stronger Mist-nin managed to block or evade Naruto's attacks, Naruto would simply vanish after a failed strike, only to reappear and strike again.

Eventually, the Blood-soaked Demon realized Naruto's strategy and shouted, "Everyone, stop chasing! Regroup now!"

But by the time the Mist-nin gathered, it was too late—Naruto had already taken down many of them, leaving less than twenty survivors.

These remaining Mist-nin were stronger, as some had managed to withstand Naruto's attacks.

At that moment, the giant man destroyed Naruto's clone, who had realized it wasn't the real Naruto. Infuriated at being deceived, he charged recklessly through the forest, unintentionally reuniting with the other Mist-nin.

Seeing the heavy casualties, the giant man pointed at Naruto and bellowed,

"So, you're the real one this time! How dare you trick me? I'm going to crush you into dust!"
