"Water Wave Fist!" A stream of water appeared on the giant man's fist as he thrust it forward in a powerful punch.

The water transformed into a high-pressure cannon, aiming at Naruto with extreme speed and force.

Naruto immediately activated his Lightning Armor to block the attack. However, the intense pressure of the water cannon still managed to injure him, causing blood to trickle from the corner of his mouth.

"Earth Splitter!" Just as Naruto was recovering from the water cannon attack, an odd surge of chakra travelled through the ground and struck him hard.

Even with the protection of his Lightning Armor, Naruto felt a force trying to tear him in half, leaving a strange wound on his body.

He might have been split in two if it weren't for his lightning-based defence. These back-to-back attacks left Naruto seriously injured.

Although his wounds were healing rapidly, he still felt searing pain throughout his body.

Seeing Naruto's injuries heal quickly, the enemy realized he wouldn't be easy to deal with.

Blood Rain roared, "Tactic C!" Immediately, all the Mist ninjas understood and took their positions based on their abilities, with the giant man and Blood Rain at the forefront.

This formation was designed to prevent Naruto from targeting its weaker members.

Having endured the previous two attacks, Naruto realized the enemy wasn't to be taken lightly.

He quickly created about thirty shadow clones. Blood Rain angrily shouted, "Do you think you can escape with that cheap trick?"

He then formed hand signs, "Water Style: Four Converging Waterfalls!"

Four massive streams of water erupted around Naruto, cutting off all his escape routes.

In response, Naruto and his clones began forming hand signs of their own, "Earth Style: Earth Wall!"

Large earth walls rose on all four sides, blocking the incoming water streams.

As the power of the Water Style technique gradually diminished, the water began to flow back, and one of the streams headed straight toward the Mist ninja.

The Mist ninja, skilled in water-based techniques, didn't mind. They naturally stood on the flowing water, probably preferring it to land.

Seeing this opportunity, Naruto and all his shadow clones jumped out, forming hand signs, "Water Style: Violent Water Wave!"

An enormous wave of water surged toward the Mist ninja.

At the same time, Naruto unleashed a barrage of lightning techniques, "Lightning Style: Stampede of a Thousand Beasts!"

The combination of water and lightning made this a devastating attack in scope and power.

Blood Rain, who had killed countless foes, narrowed his eyes at Naruto's powerful jutsu and immediately gathered a massive amount of chakra.

"Ninja Art: Iron Wall!" A special water flow rose, forming a protective shield to block Naruto's attack.

Although this shield was made of water, it resembled the defensive technique used by a Mist ninja Naruto had fought earlier at the harbour—only much stronger.

Neither Naruto's Water Style nor Lightning Style attacks could penetrate it.

The shield absorbed most of the attack's power, but the lightning's flexibility allowed it to slip through and kill three Mist ninjas.

It was like a slap in their faces once again.

The "Blood Ninja" trio had distinct personalities and didn't like working together, but Naruto's actions pushed them to their limits.

With a look from Blood Rain and a nod from the Bloodthirsty Berserker, the two rushed at Naruto.

Naruto immediately pushed his Lightning Armor to its limits, using his speed to dodge their attacks.

He attacked from their blind spot, thrusting a blade at Blood Rain.

However, the strange liquid coating his body blocked the blade, preventing any injury. In retaliation, Naruto was hit twice more, further injuring him.

This time, they didn't give Naruto a chance to recover. Despite the excruciating pain, Naruto kept dodging and parrying.

Luckily, his wounds were healing quickly, but the relentless joint attack left him with no opening to counter.

He was forced into a desperate defensive situation.

Although Naruto was fast, the two opponents made it hard for him to land any significant blow, leading to a stalemate.

Meanwhile, the remaining Mist ninja launched a new attack, "Water Style: Water Whip!"

Several Mist ninja extended long water whips from their hands, trying to entangle Naruto.

A technique of this level wouldn't normally threaten him, but it became a major hindrance in his current situation.

Caught off guard, Naruto was hit again.

Facing this increasingly unfavourable situation, Naruto quickly moved toward the forest, using the traps hidden there to disrupt his enemies.

However, these traps were ineffective against Blood Rain and the Bloodthirsty Berserker.

The other Mist ninja followed closely behind, continuing to interfere with Naruto, but due to the traps, the battle again reached a stalemate.

The continuous clash of jutsu started to change the island's environment.

Since the Mist ninja predominantly used water techniques, the amount of water in the forest grew, and the power of their Water Style jutsu kept increasing.

Naruto fought while thinking through his options.

The situation gradually turned against him—he couldn't keep relying on traps, and the enemy had him cornered.

If he kept getting pushed back without a chance to fight back, staying here would be meaningless.

Just then, a flute's eerie melody echoed through the air.

It was similar to the one Naruto had heard at the harbour, but this time, the person using it seemed even more skilled.

The flute user had previously relied on Water Style to attack, avoiding using sound-based genjutsu because it could expose him.

But now, with Naruto on the defensive, it was the perfect time for the genjutsu to take effect.

When Naruto heard the flute, he recognized it as a sound-based genjutsu. His vision blurred as illusions appeared before his eyes.

Caught off guard, he was struck by a powerful blow from Blood Rain, sending him crashing through the forest like a cannonball.

He smashed through countless trees before finally stopping, kicking up a cloud of dust.

The intense pain snapped Naruto out of the genjutsu, leaving him drenched in cold sweat.

Blood Rain yelled at the flute-playing ninja, "Don't stop! Keep him under the genjutsu!"

Surprised at the technique's effectiveness, the flute player hesitated for a moment but then resumed playing.

Naruto lay on the forest floor, dust rising around him, and smiled bitterly.

"It seems I'm not good at dealing with genjutsu. If this keeps up, I might get killed. Guess I should retreat for now."

Naruto activated his Flying Thunder God technique and vanished into the dust cloud.

Blood Rain's punch hit the ground, but Naruto's presence had already disappeared.

He frantically searched the area, smashing rocks and trees in frustration, roaring, "How dare you run away! Get back here, you bastard! I'll crush you!"

The Bloodthirsty Berserker sighed at his outburst while the remaining Mist ninja watched in fear.

After a long day of battle, the scene shifted, leaving the Mist ninja tense as they watched their furious leader.

After Naruto escaped using the Flying Thunder God Technique, he quickly located the retreating Konoha Anbu.

At that moment, the Konoha group sat on Yamato's wooden ship.

When Hinata saw Naruto covered in blood, she immediately ran over to support him and asked,

"Naruto, are you all right? You fought so many enemies by yourself."

Naruto gently patted Hinata's head and said, "I'm fine. This blood is mostly the enemies."

Seeing Naruto return unharmed from such a dangerous situation, the Konoha group grew even more impressed with their leader's strength.

Naruto washed off the blood and stood in the centre of the boat, saying,

"I've already removed many enemies, but the ones left are stronger. From here on, we'll need teamwork to win. Everyone should be prepared for sacrifices."

As members of the Anbu, they understood that missions often came with risks and sacrifices.

Their faces turned serious as they nodded in agreement. Yamato asked, "Captain, what kinds of jutsu do the remaining enemies use, and how should we deal with them?"

Naruto responded, "Among the remaining Mist shinobi, one uses sound-based genjutsu, which is highly disruptive during battle and must be dealt with first."

"There are also two brothers from the 'Blood Ninjas,' whose techniques are rather unusual."

"The elder brother has terrifyingly strong attacks and incredible defence, capable of killing someone in a single strike if you're not careful."

The younger brother uses tricky and unpredictable attacks that are hard to defend against."

Shikamaru asked, "Do they have any weaknesses?" Naruto frowned and said, "I haven't found any clear weaknesses yet, and they're likely holding back some techniques."

Kurama asked, "Captain, should we return to base or take other action?"

Naruto sat down to think momentarily before replying, "I initially thought about returning to base to regroup, but I've come up with a new idea."

"The enemies are currently searching the small island where I last fought them, and they're all moving together. That means their island's defences must be weak, making it a great opportunity for us."

Yamato nodded in agreement, "That makes sense. If we attack now, we can easily take their island and have defences in place by the time they return."

The group thought it over and agreed that it was a solid plan. They quickly sailed toward the Mist Shinobi's base on the island.

With Hinata's Byakugan, Naruto could monitor the situation as they neared the island.

As expected, the defences were thin, leaving only four shinobi behind, just one of them being of Jonin rank.

Naruto, with Hinata's guidance, approached silently.

Thanks to the Byakugan's precise vision, they could not hide from their observation, allowing them to sneak into blind spots.

Naruto had the Anbu launch a coordinated attack, swiftly eliminating the four Mist ninjas guarding the island.

Though the Mist ninja had set up numerous traps on the island, the traps were ineffective without active defenders to maintain them.

Naruto led the Anbu in quickly resetting the traps, trying to keep the island's appearance as close to normal as possible in hopes of setting an ambush for when the remaining Mist ninja returned.

As Konoha's forces worked to reinforce the island's defences, they stayed on alert for enemy movements. Naruto also sent out scouts to monitor the Mist ninja's activities.

Although the enemy's strength made it dangerous to get too close, Konoha's skilled Anbu gathered intelligence that the Mist was still thoroughly searching the island.

For three days straight, the Mist ninja combed the entire area and its surroundings, showing how frustrated they were by Naruto's escape.

After three days, it became clear that Naruto had evaded capture, and the Mist ninja was visibly exhausted.

Blood Rain, furious, vented his frustration by smashing rocks on the island. Finally, they returned to their previous base on the island with no other option.

Blood Rain, leading the charge, directed the group to sail back, followed by the tired and disheartened Mist ninja.

Despite their frustrations, most of the Mist ninjas felt some relief at the idea of finally resting.

When they landed on the island, they were completely unprepared.

Assuming the enemy had long since fled, they let their guard down, unaware that a deadly ambush awaited them.

As they stepped ashore, traps suddenly activated, launching a barrage of shuriken from a seemingly safe area.

More traps were triggered in the surrounding areas, catching them off-guard. At that moment, they realized something had gone wrong.

But it was too late. Konoha's Anbu had been waiting, launching a coordinated attack with the traps, forcing the Mist ninja to scatter.

In the chaos, Naruto seized the opportunity and killed two more Mist ninja, reducing their numbers even further.

When Blood Rain saw Naruto, lightning flashing around him, and once again accompanied by the deaths of his comrades, he lost all sense of reason and charged at him.

However, Yamato's Wood Style blocked his path, and Earth-style jutsu rose from the ground.

A shadow jutsu stretched out to grab him—another technique from one of the newly arrived Anbu members.

Though Blood Rain desperately wanted to take out Naruto, he was forced to deal with this troublesome jutsu first.

Following Naruto's instructions, Konoha deployed four of its strongest Anbu, each with a unique jutsu.

Their goal wasn't to kill Blood Rain but to keep him occupied and wear him down. They focused on mid-to-long-range attacks, avoiding close combat.

Although this tactic couldn't defeat Blood Rain, it prevented him from making significant moves.

Meanwhile, the scattered Mist ninjas were engaged in heavy combat with the Konoha Anbu.

Konoha's forces held the upper hand using their numbers and strategic positioning.

Konoha's Anbu already had a slight advantage in one-on-one battles, but now, with the numbers on their side, the fight became much easier.

From the very start of the battle, the Mist ninja's numbers dwindled rapidly, while Konoha's side remained relatively unscathed.

As time passed, the situation became more unfavourable for the Mist ninja.

However, Naruto had kept an eye on one opponent—Blood Frenzy.

The moment he stepped onto the island, he was met with a surprise attack but quickly unleashed a terrifying killing intent.

His hands extended like claws, striking from bizarre angles.

His hands gathered strange chakra that could easily shatter kunai. Breaking through defences, he grabbed a Konoha Anbu and tore it apart instantly.

Blood splattered over him, forming a bloody coat, making him look like a man drenched in blood.

Seeing this brutal and grotesque combat style for the first time, Naruto couldn't help but feel unsettled by its cruelty.
