"Where are we?" Raelyn as she looked around in an old factory that had been left alone in the middle of the woods. "YOU CAN ALL COME OUT!" he shouted.
Suddenly a large group of people appeared surrounding Raelyn and the strange man. "Wow," Raelyn said as she slowly turned around to see how many were there. "You're finally back Derek, it took you long enough," A girl with black hair and blue eyes said approaching him. She looked exactly like him. "You're his twin?" Raelyn questioned. "An Astute observation random girl" the girl replied. "This is Raelyn, she's a telekinetic as well as a telepath," Derek told his sister. "I'm Lindsey" Lindsey said. "So what brought you to our humble home?" Lindsey asked. "He randomly grabbed me off the street and pulled me into an alley before covering my mouth and telling me to keep quiet," Raelyn told her.
Lindsey was quiet for a moment as she stared at Raelyn with her jaw dropped before slowly turning her head to look at Derek. "You kidnapped her?" Lindsey asked. "I did not kidnap her," Derek told his sister. "Anyway…" Raelyn cut in. "I guess you're an unwanted too?" Raelyn questioned.
"We all are," Lindsey told her. "Lindsey is the one responsible for keeping this place as well as the people in it hidden," Derek told Raelyn. "It's not that big of a deal, I can turn myself as well as anyone or anything I touch invisible," Lindsey told her.
"That's amazing," Raelyn told her. Lindsey smiled. "Says the girl that saved 27 lives by revealing her power" Lindsey replied.
"If I wanna change the world we live in…" Raelyn said hesitating for a moment. "I have to try" she added. "Well your hero act seems to certainly have been a start," Lindsey said pulling her to the side as people began to whisper.
"Everyone wants to know who the Unwanted Hero is," Lindsey told her. "I can't do this alone, you know," Raelyn told Lindsey and Derek. "You're not alone," Lindsey told her. "But what is it exactly you want to do?" Lindsey asked.
"I wanna save the world," Raelyn told her. "And to do that we need to start by gaining the people's trust" she added. "It's how Paradise was able to form so easily when the unwanted first began to appear, the unwanted became the enemy, the reason to be afraid," she told them.
"If we want to change everything, not only do we need to start openly helping people with our powers but we need to get more of the unwanted on our side who would be willing to help" she added. "With the amount of fear that surrounds being an unwanted the only way for us to even attempt to change that is by gaining the people's trust in any way we can," Raelyn told Lindsey and Derek.
"Ok," Lindsey said. "So basically we need to be superheroes" she added and Raelyn nodded. "I'm in," a familiar female voice said from behind Raelyn. Raelyn turned around. "Elian?" She questioned, "How are you here?" Raelyn asked confused.
"Your brother," she said. "Apparently he sneaks anyone under 18 out of custody I was supposed to go to Canada but they found me first," she told her.
Raelyn let out a deep breath, before turning back to Derek and Raelyn. "We need to gather anyone strong enough who's willing to use their powers to help people," Raelyn told them. "Then I need to see what they can do" she added.
"HEY!" Lindsey suddenly yelled making everyone who was in the factory go silent. "ANYONE WHO WISHES TO BE A FUCKING SUPERHERO GET OUTSIDE!" Lindsey yelled.
Suddenly small groups of people slowly began to make their way outside. "Did you really have to put it that way?" Raelyn asked. "Of course" Lindsey answered. "What better way to get them interested the offering them the chance to be a hero" she added.
Raelyn took in a deep breath. "Then let's make our way out there," Raelyn said. Elian, Derek, and Lindsey slowly began to make their way outside. "So how many people are here?" Raelyn asked. "Roughly 200" Derek answered "Could be more or less though" he added. "But out of those 200 people, I'd say only half possibly even less would be able to qualify" Lindsey added. "I assume you only want people of a certain class?" Lindsey questioned.
"It's not their class I'm worried about" Raelyn replied. "It's if they'll be able to help others without putting themselves in more danger than necessary" she added.
When they got outside a large group of people stood waiting. "How many would you say are out here?" Raelyn asked. "I'm not even sure, maybe 100-150" Derek answered.
"Alright then," Raelyn said before turning to Derek Elian, and Lindsey. "For now we're gonna need 4 notebooks and 4 pens. We're gonna have them line up in 4 lines and the information we take from them will be their names their power the class they are believed to be and any emergency contact in case anything happens" Raelyn told them.
"Vanessa!" Derek shouted. "What's up?" A girl with brown hair and tan skin asked jogging over to them. "Can you do me a favor and create 4 sets of notebooks, pens, tables, and chairs?" Derek asked her. "That's a pretty big ask I'm not sure if I can make all that," Vanessa told him. "However many you can make will be useful," Raelyn told her.
"Alright," Vanessa said turning around and facing the trees. Her eyes began to glow a bright green as a row of trees in front of her began to glow and shift, creating exactly what they needed.
Vanessa's eyes turned back to normal as she fell to her knees with heavy breaths. "Are you alright?" Raelyn asked kneeling to her. "Yeah I'm fine that just took a lot out of me," Vanessa said as Raelyn helped her up. "I couldn't create pens but I did make pencils," she told her. "I'm sure they'll work just fine, thank you," Raelyn told her. "So your power…" "I can transform an object into another object as long as there more or less made of the same things like the pencils for example I didn't have lead but as long as I have a majority of what's used to make it I can still somehow transform it though don't ask me how cause I really don't have a clue" Vanessa explained. "That's amazing, thank you again," Raelyn told her.
Raelyn turned to Derek, Lindsey, and Elian. "Alright let's get to work," she said with a clap.
