Floors 8,889–9,999: The Obsidian Spire
Theme: A dark, foreboding tower that rises from the depths of the dungeon. The floors here are sleek, black obsidian, and the air is thick with the sense of impending doom. It's a place where light itself struggles to exist.
Bosses: Ancient dragons, cosmic beings, and creatures of immense power. At the peak, on the 9,999th floor, the Valdris himself stands guard, formerly unkillable but now vulnerable. His legend still strikes fear into all who approach, though he secretly grapples with his newfound mortality.
The Obsidian Spire is no mere tower—it is a towering, otherworldly realm, with each level and chamber vast enough to house entire landscapes. This sprawling section of the dungeon is carved from black obsidian, its walls shimmering with dark magic, and it stretches both vertically and horizontally into a seemingly endless abyss.
Dragon Sanctuaries: The Spire contains massive caverns and open chambers, each large enough to accommodate the ancient dragons. These spaces are like worlds within themselves, shaped by the dragons' elemental forces:
Kaezrith's Stormpeak: An open, sky-like cavern filled with storm clouds and crackling lightning, where violent winds swirl constantly. This chamber is so large that it mimics the atmosphere of the highest mountaintops.
Vorgorath's Infernal Depths: A molten, lava-filled gorge deep within the Spire, where rivers of magma flow. Shadows dance on the walls, and the heat is unbearable to most creatures.
Zyvaris' Frozen Eternity: A vast, glacier-like space where time seems to slow. Icy peaks rise within the chamber, and the very air crackles with frost and magic.
Thaldranax's Verdant Hollow: A living forest within the Spire, where trees tower over the landscape, and nature flourishes. The ground is rich with life, and Thaldranax's presence keeps the ecosystem in perpetual balance.
Morthalyx's Abyssal Maw: A dark, void-like expanse where reality bends and warps. Stars and cosmic phenomena flicker in the void, and the space feels infinite, as though the boundaries of the dungeon itself have stretched to house this being.
Syrvalia's Dreamscape: A surreal, ever-shifting landscape, filled with floating islands, colorful dream-like flora, and illusions that make it difficult to tell what is real. The environment bends to the will of the dream dragon.
Grand Chambers and Corridors: The corridors connecting the sanctuaries are immense, with ceilings so high they disappear into shadow. These passages are adorned with dark, arcane symbols and glow faintly with the lingering power of the dragons.
Atmospheric Magic: Magic pulses throughout the Spire, causing the environment to respond to the dragons' presence. If Kaezrith stirs, the winds throughout the Spire grow stronger. When Zyvaris moves, frost forms on the walls, and time itself slows in his vicinity.
