Decoy Number Three had the unexpected privilege of escorting Karina on a shopping date. Upon arrival at her residence, I was ushered into a spacious room where tea was promptly served. Naturally, as a magic crystal construct, Decoy Three couldn't actually consume food or drink. Technically, I could simulate a stomach space, but the liquid would just slosh around every time the decoy moved—hardly dignified. Perhaps stuffing the inner chamber with padding would work better next time.
"Hello, Karina," I greeted as she entered.
"Who are you?" she responded, narrowing her eyes. "You may fool others, but not me."
"Ah, you caught me," I admitted. "I'm a decoy. Here, let me prove it." I commanded the miniature wolf crystal beside her to move, confirming her suspicion.
"It seems you're telling the truth. Still, I'm disappointed. A decoy on a date?" Her tone was frosty.
