Today was a rare, calm day for me—a date with Karina. She seemed to have taken a liking to holding hands, interlacing our fingers as we strolled through the town. It was a little unusual, yet endearing; not many couples walked around holding hands like this.
In one corner of the bustling marketplace, a large crowd gathered, enough to raise curiosity. If it was a fight, I'd have to step in to settle things.
"Come one, come all! Taste the bread of fortune! A magical delight that brings luck to all who eat it!"
The stall owner's shout was loud, and the bread had gained quite a reputation. It must have some spiritual charm to it. Perhaps it's something worth trying.
"Phantom," I said, flicking a gold coin into the air. Before the coin even hit the ground, it disappeared, and moments later, a bag with five pieces of bread appeared in my hand.
