Chapter 3 - Hunting

Ron's Journey Through the Tower

Ron's journey through the tower had begun with a sense of trepidation and excitement. He'd left behind his old life, a world filled with hardship and despair, and stepped into a realm of endless possibilities. The tower, a towering structure that seemed to pierce the very heavens, was his new home.

As he explored his room, he couldn't help but marvel at the luxuries it offered. A fireplace, a kitchen, a comfortable bed, and a bath – it was a far cry from the meager conditions he had grown accustomed to. In his inventory, he found a set of novice equipment, and after careful consideration, he chose a sword. Its sleek design and sharp edge seemed to promise great power.

With his equipment in hand, Ron was ready to face the challenges that awaited him. The Guide, a mysterious entity that had appeared to him upon entering the tower, explained that the monsters within were born from the suffering of humanity. They fed on fear and grew stronger with each vanquished opponent.

As Ron ventured deeper into the tower, he encountered his first group of goblins. These creatures, with their grotesque features and sharp claws, lunged at him with a feral fury. Ron, however, was prepared. He activated his Super Strength skill, enhancing his physical abilities, and swung his sword with a force that sent the goblins flying.

The battle was fierce, but Ron's skill and determination ultimately prevailed. As he dispatched the last goblin, he felt a surge of satisfaction. He had not only survived his first encounter but had also grown stronger. His Gigantification, Super Strength, and Energy Recovery skills had all leveled up, indicating that he was making significant progress.

However, Ron noticed that his Flexible Muscles skill remained at level 1. The Guide explained that this was because Flexible Muscles was a constitutional skill, meaning it improved his overall physical attributes and skill proficiency gradually over time. It would take consistent training and experience to level up.

With the first floor cleared, Ron was rewarded with a new skill: Sword Beginner (0.0%). He was also granted access to the second floor, a bustling town filled with adventurers and merchants. The Guide advised him to register at the adventure guild to receive quests and track his progress.

At the guild, Ron was greeted by a friendly woman who gave him a registration card. His rank was "F," indicating that he was a novice adventurer. The guild offered a variety of quests, ranging from simple tasks to perilous adventures. Ron, eager to prove himself, chose a D-rank quest that required him to defeat ten goblin mages and a Homogoblin.

The other adventurers were stunned by his choice. A D-rank quest was typically reserved for more experienced adventurers, and many doubted Ron's ability to complete it. But Ron was undeterred. He had faced greater challenges before, and he was determined to succeed.

With his newfound confidence, Ron entered the tower once again. The second floor was a labyrinth of winding corridors and hidden chambers. The goblins he encountered were more powerful and cunning than those on the first floor

Ron's journey had only just begun. The tower held countless secrets and dangers, but he was determined to face them all. With each victory, he grew stronger and more confident. The future was uncertain, but Ron was ready to embrace it.
