Aria's mom, Sophia Wynter, stormed into Headmaster Wynter's office, her expression a mix of worry and anger.
"Aria, what were you thinking?" Sophia demanded, her voice trembling.
Aria shrugged, feeling a mix of guilt and defiance. "I just wanted to shake things up, Mom."
Sophia's eyes narrowed. "Shake things up? You could have been expelled! What would that do to your future?"
Headmaster Wynter intervened, his tone calm but firm. "Sophia, Aria's actions compromised school safety. We cannot tolerate such behavior."
Sophia turned to the headmaster. "I understand, but Aria's always been a free spirit. Can't we find a way to channel that energy positively?"
Aria's heart swelled with gratitude toward her mom.
"I agree," Mrs. Thompson said, entering the conversation. "Aria has potential. With guidance, she can make a difference."
Headmaster Wynter nodded thoughtfully. "Very well. Aria will receive a warning and community service. But, Sophia, please ensure Aria understands the gravity of her actions."
Sophia's expression softened. "I will. Thank you, Headmaster."
As they left the office, Sophia turned to Aria. "Let's talk."
Over coffee, Sophia shared her own rebellious past, and Aria saw her mom in a new light.
"Mom, I'm sorry," Aria said, sincerity flooding her voice.
Sophia smiled, her eyes warm. "I know, sweetie. Just find a better way to express yourself. You're capable of greatness."
Aria nodded, determination burning within.
