"It has barely been over a week and now you are leaving already,'' Queen Alexandra held onto Amara's arm as they they stood outside the palace, ''You have yet to leave and I am already feeling lonely.''
Amara tucked her stray hair that was being blown about by the wind behind her ear and as she did so, she revealed some dark lines she was sporting under her eyes. Battle scars that she had earned for herself by staying up last night.
''Oh my... What happened to your eyes? Are you also saddened?" Queen Alexandra's lips trembled, ''You need not go...''
''I will visit again when I get the chance, Aunt,'' Amara hugged the woman, patting her back, ''Meanwhile, you take care. You did not feel so thin the last time I hugged you.''
At this moment, King Callahan walked out followed by James and Rafael.
Seeing the queen's forlorn face, he sighed, ''I am still here, alive and well, my queen. The palace is not entirely empty.''
