After humans emerged from the shelters to the surface, they awakened their lineage, gaining the ability to train. A hundred years have passed since that time.
During these hundred years, humans from all over the world, led by the general, fought fierce battles against strange and terrifying creatures until they managed to drive them away.
Afterward, they constructed buildings, formed fighting families, and established martial sects.
In the last twenty years, following the disappearance of the general, the strongest individuals from all corners of the central earth (the primary land) gathered to form a union called the Celestial Court.
The Celestial Court became more of a sect than a union among the great powers because it recruited all the talents it deemed worthy.
This led them to intervene in the affairs of the entire central earth, becoming more dominant than protective.
Certainly, this happened because the general vanished into a place unknown to anyone twenty years ago. However, they did not dare to meddle in Kemet out of fear of the general's return.
After all, one should never approach an area marked by a predatory beast as a zone of dominance, even if it seems deserted.
Despite this, news of the weakened state of the people of Kemet had certainly reached their ears. Kemet had always been a coveted land throughout history.
They sent their spies there and even resorted to weakening Kemet further to allow its people to surrender willingly, under the pretense of protection, given its central importance.
In the streets of Kemet, amidst the grand palaces, average homes, and impoverished areas, the air was filled with contented laughter.
Whether rich or poor, strong or weak, everyone here united over one thing: their love for this homeland.
The kindness of the people of this place was renowned throughout the ages; unless your intent was conquest, it was customary to honor you as a guest.
"Clear this garbage from the road... Are these truly the people of the one called the general? Hmph, it seems the legends are exaggerated. Get rid of them..."
This peaceful scene was interrupted by a rough voice from a young man in his twenties, dressed in extravagant attire, followed by a large group of guards.
Everyone in the street stared at the young man and his entourage with surprise at their clothes but quickly ignored him, as if he were a fool.
"...."
Seeing this, the young man grew angry and looked down at the residents with disdain, as if they were trash, and said, "Guard captain... Did you not hear me, for heaven's sake?!"
"Yes, sir! Move aside, you insects, from the path of the young master. Don't you know who he is?! Guards, clear them out!"
The guard captain, a massive man, shouted at the guards. They quickly drew their swords and began attacking the people without hesitation.
"Ah...."
"Why are you doing this? Ah, damn it, I curse you all to die in peace!" a man shouted loudly before his head was severed cleanly from his body. The guard who killed him looked down coldly and said, "And what if an ant curses me? Many have cursed me, and here I am, killing another ant... Heh."
"No... Father..."
Screams echoed through the streets as each person who reached them was killed without a hint of compassion. Those who dared to resist faced a fate worse than death.
"Brother... Please, let my brother go," a beautiful girl cried out sorrowfully and rushed to the guard holding her brother, who had attempted to resist. They impaled him on a pole and began to whip him.
The young man was Caesar, and the beautiful girl was his sister. It seemed this hot-blooded youth was about to unleash his fury.
"Hmm... Who is this whore? How dare you, a filthy girl from this place, shout in the face of a guard of the Celestial Court?..."
The guard looked at the beautiful girl and shouted, but when he saw her, lust appeared in his eyes, quickly followed by a sinister look.
"How dare you, a girl like you, act this way? I will teach you a lesson... Come here."
He reached out and grabbed the girl's hair, who gazed at her brother with deep sorrow.
"How dare you?! Get away from my sister, you bastard!" Caesar shouted loudly, though he was restrained. His voice soon turned hoarse.
"Let her go... Let her go."
His voice transformed into a roar that terrified everyone around him, and they turned to look.
"What... What? Look at this child's eyes!" one of the guards holding Caesar shouted in fear. The others looked and found his eyes had turned completely black as he growled in a deep, rough voice, "Did I not say before... Let her go?"
At the end of his sentence, a tremendous pressure filled the entire area, shattering the pole and tearing the nearby guards to pieces. Caesar collapsed to the ground, screaming, "Ah...."
Black scales began to emerge on his body, and blood started to flow, but he still focused on the guard who had grabbed his sister's hair.
The guard was struck with terror and let the girl drop to the ground as she gazed at Caesar, tears streaming down her face. The guard turned to flee, but suddenly, he was torn into a thousand pieces.
"Calm down, child... Nothing will happen to your sister as long as I am here."
A soft voice echoed in the area, and a stunning woman appeared before Caesar, placing her hand on his head. Instantly, he calmed down, and his body returned to normal.
Everyone stopped to stare at the sudden visitor. She was an extraordinarily beautiful woman... It was Sirin, the mother of Jowalin and the wife of the general.
All the guards looked at her in shock, but her eyes scanned the people in the street. She noticed some who had lost limbs, some who were missing one or two fingers, and others who sat in shock before the corpse of their father, mother, or any family member, weeping in disbelief. However, the most horrifying sight was a girl no older than ten.
Her body lay close to her father's corpse, but her head was far away; she had been beheaded and was still trying to reach her father's body.
"Who is this whore? How dare you kill my soldiers?! You deserve death."
The young man shouted angrily and arrogantly at Sirin, who was coldly observing the girl's corpse. She then shifted her gaze to the young man.
"Beware, young master..."
The guard captain yelled, pulling the young man back swiftly. But suddenly, one of his arms was severed without Sirin moving an inch. Sirin shouted, "Izzy... Kill!!!!"
Before anyone could react, a young woman in her twenties appeared, dressed in a white gown, wielding a silver sword on her back... or rather, the scabbard of the sword.
The sword was in her hand, and each time she swung it, a guard's head fell from his body.
"Do you know what you are doing?! Do you realize the power standing behind us?! You have opened the gates of hell upon this state; identify yourself!" the guard captain shouted in extreme anger, but despite his fear, he did not forget his arrogance. However, with just a glance from Sirin, his arm exploded.
"Ah...."
The captain screamed beside the young man who had already lost an arm, but Sirin turned her gaze to the clouds and said coldly, "Come down here, you filth..."
"Haha... As expected of the war queen, you exposed me so easily."
