Panting "I think I've run far enough," the little demon said to herself, gasping for breath as she looked back to see if she had any pursuers. Not seeing anyone, she thought,
'That was stupid, very stupid, but if any of the little Marvel resources still apply in this universe, then I can't let them have this briefcase.' She recalled various organizations that wanted to create their own super soldiers.
After catching her breath, she decided to open the briefcase, remembering that she had seen several tubes of different colors but couldn't see more.
"What is this...? How?!" she exclaimed upon seeing the contents of the briefcase, which contained ten tubes of various colors with names attached to them. However, that wasn't the reason for her surprise, but what these tubes said.
"Gen X, gills, Gen X scales, Gen X... Nail growth?" she read some of the names aloud, puzzled by some of them.
'The Gen X is what gives powers to mutants like me. I guess they want to make the super soldier serum based on these samples, though I have my doubts about the usefulness of some of these,' she thought, raising an eyebrow.
'But... I need to do something, hide the vials and make them think I took them somewhere else, but how?' she thought and pondered a plan until she lifted her gaze and froze in place.
What was in front of her was the beautiful view of New York, illuminated at night, shining in all its splendor, even seeing the Statue of Liberty from the side.
"How... beautiful," the girl, who had spent five years locked in her home until today, saw another side of the world. Though she wanted to get closer and be there, she knew that for now, her place was here... watching in silence.
A few minutes later, this beautiful view gave her an idea for her problem.
'I think it could work.'

After wandering lost in the forest for about two hours, she managed to return home just before dawn.
When she was about to climb the wall to enter her room, she stopped and looked back at the forest, then sighed and climbed to her room, where the first thing she did was hide the tubes under her bed, and the second was to get into her bed.

The little girl froze in place while eating, her fork just inches from her mouth. When she finally reacted, she said one thing:
"This… isn't half bad," she said with a smile, and with that smile, she began to go over her rewards.
"100 kunais… useful, I guess. A mask is pretty useless with a body like mine. As its name suggests, it erases weaknesses, like Superman's weakness to kryptonite. A trident… an unusual weapon. The enhancement cards do what their name says and can evolve things with enough cards. This one… is interesting." She reflected silently on the power system assimilation cards.
'In short, they allow you to awaken your own innate technique related to a power system, for example, Jujutsu Kaisen. I won't have the template's abilities, which is quite useful for templates with unique skills, but not so much in universes like Dragon Ball.'
After this small analysis, she decided to continue with her rewards.

She's one of the few ghouls with more than one kagune, having two of the four types available. A stone sword is worse than the trident. This is a quirk that All For One stole, which allows you to reinforce a certain part of your body… creating, well, rematches in that area. A useful knife if it weren't for my claws, similar story with the other weapons; they'd be useful if it weren't for my tail, though I can still use them at a distance. Mina, a character who also uses acid; maybe I can create a combo with the xenomorph. The ability, as long as I move at a certain speed or higher, creates more images the faster I go. And lastly, smoke bombs—useful for running."
The little demon sat and thought about how to proceed.
"First, the abilities and the quirk." With those words, three cards appeared in her hand, and with another, they turned into spheres of light that entered her body. She opened her status, and there were her abilities along with the quirk, although it had a small change.
"Black steel rematch? It must be due to corruption that it leveled up to five. It does the same thing, but it's tougher and can now be used for cutting."
"I'll save the others for now… although, thinking about it," two cards appeared in her hand: the stone sword and a power system assimilation card.
"It doesn't work," she said after trying to use the card on the sword. "Well, it was a good attempt." Just as she was about to put the cards away, she had a thought, and an enhancement card appeared in her hand. She used it on the sword, which now said "Blade 1" at the bottom.
"Okay… I hope I didn't waste an enhancement card." With this, she tried again, but this time with a different result.

"It worked!" the little girl celebrated. "Well… it's time for dessert." With these words, she ran to her room to grab something from under her bed.
"DNA Assimilation allows me to copy the DNA of different beings, with the only limitation being that I need a large amount for it to work, but these vials are pure DNA… so."
With that, she took the first vial labeled "Gen X Growth" and drank it like water.
As Velariel felt the liquid coursing through her body, it felt as if her whole body was on fire, concentrating at the tips of her claws, which visibly began to grow.
"It worked," she said, watching her claws grow, only to retract them to their normal size with a thought, which made her smile even more.
One by one, she took the other nine serums. The second, gills, gave her gills on her neck. The third, scales, made her scales thicker, especially around her shoulders, neck, elbows, spine, knees, and Achilles' heel. The fourth allowed her to grow and move her hair at will, like a heroine she didn't remember much about, except that she was someone's queen. The sixth serum provided pain resistance, so she thought that was the Gen X she obtained. The seventh was voice modulation, allowing her to imitate others. The eighth was density control, which allowed her to increase or decrease her body's density. The ninth was color change, which changed her body color as its name suggested, and the tenth was influence pheromones, enabling her to affect others' moods.
With a thought, she opened her status.
