Elric didn't enter through the front door. Instead, he swiftly and silently climbed over the wall.
Landing lightly, he crept towards the room, crouching low and moving with utmost stealth.
Pressing his ear against the wall, he listened carefully to the conversation inside.
"Boss, that woman bit off her tongue and died. What should we do?"
The voice of one Wild Dog Gang member sounded frustrated.
Another lazy voice responded indifferently.
"That's the fifth one this month, isn't it?"
"What else can we do? Bury her somewhere. We thought we'd sell her after we had our fun, but oh well."
Elric's fists clenched tightly, his nails digging into his palms.
The stench of blood lingered in the air, fueling his rising anger.
These men were not only cruel, but they treated innocent lives with no regard.
Just as Elric prepared to storm in, Calista's calm voice interrupted his impulse.
"Don't be reckless. Lure one of them outside and take him down quickly.
We'll catch them off guard."
Her words brought Elric back to his senses.
He quietly picked up a stone and threw it skillfully towards the outer side of the window.
The stone hit the wall with a thud, immediately catching the attention of those inside.
"What was that?"
One of the men inside sounded alert.
Elric stepped back a few paces, ready to strike when someone came out to investigate.
His breath slowed, his body tense as he prepared to strike once the target was isolated.
"You, go check outside."
A voice inside ordered.
Soon, a bald man stepped out, glancing around. Seeing nothing unusual, he turned to head back inside.
But before he could react, Elric appeared like a flash of lightning.
He struck swiftly and fiercely, landing a punch straight through the man's chest.
The bald man's eyes glazed over, a horrified scream escaping his lips as blood splattered in all directions.
The agonizing scream echoed in the quiet night, immediately alerting the rest inside.
The thick scent of blood hung in the air, and the men inside quickly realized something was wrong.
"What's going on? What happened?"
Voices filled with urgency and confusion came from inside, accompanied by hurried footsteps.
When the remaining five members of the Wild Dog Gang rushed out of the house, Elric was ready, his cheeks puffed up.
As soon as they stepped through the door, Elric unleashed a Roaring Gale.
A violent wind blade swept forward, and the first gang member to step out didn't even have time to react before his body was torn to shreds by the fierce wind.
Blood and flesh scattered in all directions, his screams cut short.
The four remaining gang members were thrown into disarray, realizing they were under attack by a psychic.
"We're under attack by a psychic! Use your skills! Shoot the signal flare for backup!"
At that command, a red-haired man stomped on the ground, causing the earth to tremble violently.
The ground beneath Elric's feet turned into a swamp, slowing his movements and weighing him down.
At the same time, another smaller gang member quickly pulled out a signal flare and fired it into the sky.
Boom!
A loud bang resounded as a red flare exploded in the night sky, drawing attention from the distance. The signal had been sent.
Elric, facing such a tense situation for the first time, began to feel a pang of panic, especially when he saw that the flare had already drawn attention.
"What should I do? Should I run?"
His anxiety caused him to freeze momentarily, unsure of his next move.
Calista's voice quickly broke through his hesitation.
"There's still time! Focus on the red-haired one—get in close!"
Elric immediately followed her instructions, wrapping his legs in psychic energy and leaping out of the swamp, dashing toward the four Wild Dog Gang members.
He moved like the wind, closing in on the red-haired man.
The gang members were furious when they realized their attacker was just a kid.
"Die, you filthy brat!"
One of them roared, hurling a stream of flames from his palm directly at Elric.
Seeing the flames rushing toward him, Elric immediately opened his mouth and unleashed Roaring Gale.
The violent wind clashed with the flames, creating a deafening explosion.
Sparks flew, and bright flashes lit up the air, sending hot embers scattering like rain.
Elric's vision was filled with fire, the intense light stinging his eyes.
He had to raise his left hand to shield himself from the blinding glow.
Suddenly, Calista's urgent voice echoed in his mind.
"Dodge!"
Without hesitation, Elric quickly rolled to the side, narrowly avoiding the incoming danger.
Covered in dirt and looking disheveled, Elric swiftly got back on his feet.
Now, only four gang members remained, each drawing their weapons.
Elric focused psychic energy into his fists and unleashed Furious Strike without hesitation.
He swung his fists with incredible speed and power, shattering one gang member's sword and following up with a devastating punch that sent the red-haired man flying.
The man crashed to the ground, writhing in agony as blood gushed from his mouth. Moments later, he lay still, dead.
With the red-haired man dead, the swampy ground returned to normal.
"Boss, this brat is no ordinary brat!"
The remaining three gang members were starting to take Elric more seriously.
They hadn't expected a mere child to be this powerful.
"We have to kill him!"
As soon as the words left his mouth, the three of them attacked with their weapons.
Elric quickly realized he needed to create distance.
He opened his mouth and unleashed another Roaring Gale, this time aiming at the ground.
The powerful gust of wind lifted him into the air, allowing him to evade their attacks with ease.
He landed on the roof, thinking he had found a moment of safety.
But then, rain began to fall from the sky.
Elric immediately noticed a strong, bloody scent in the air.
Looking down, he saw a drop of rain land on his skin, which began to sizzle and smoke as if it were being corroded.
Realizing the danger, Elric quickly understood that this wasn't ordinary rain—it was blood rain, highly corrosive and deadly.
As the blood rain intensified, the entire sky took on a dark red hue, filling the air with a sense of rot and decay.
Without wasting any time, Elric punched through the roof and dropped into the house.
"That's a blood psychic skill.
Be careful—seems like the Wild Dog Gang has some dangerous abilities," Calista's voice warned him in his mind.
