Chapter 246 - Chapter 246: Heavenly Flame, Yin-Yang Dual Flames

"I said I'll give you a chance to start over, to become a woman with her purity restored. Do you want it or not?" Mu Chen repeated calmly.

"Are you serious?" Bibi Dong looked at Mu Chen, her voice trembling with both hope and doubt.

"Of course. Why would I lie about something like this?" Mu Chen nodded.

"What do I need to do?" Bibi Dong asked.

"Come closer, and I'll explain. The fewer people who know about this, the better," Mu Chen replied.

Bibi Dong took a cautious step toward Mu Chen.

"Closer," he instructed.

She hesitated for a moment before stepping closer again.

"Even closer," Mu Chen continued, until only about a meter separated them.

With a wave of his hand, Mu Chen summoned a spherical energy shield that enveloped both of them, isolating them from the outside world.

"Before we proceed, there's one more thing I need," Mu Chen said.

"What is it?" Bibi Dong asked warily.

"Two sets of bones, preferably from spirit masters at the Title Douluo level. The stronger they were in life, the better. This will ensure your resurrection comes with enhanced strength," Mu Chen explained.

"Two sets of bones?" Bibi Dong frowned.

"Yes. And one of them is for the resurrection of Xiao Wu's mother," Mu Chen admitted openly.

Bibi Dong was quick to understand, her sharp intellect piecing it together immediately. "You're trying to reconcile the grudge between Xiao Wu and Spirit Hall by reviving her mother."

"Exactly. My Chaos God Trials require me to resolve this enmity. Only by reviving Xiao Wu's mother can peace be restored between her and Spirit Hall," Mu Chen replied without hesitation.

"And you're certain this will work?" Bibi Dong asked skeptically.

"Absolutely. Ten out of ten," Mu Chen affirmed with confidence.

Bibi Dong's brows furrowed deeply. Resurrection was something that only appeared in ancient texts. There were stories of Nine Heart Begonia spirit masters reviving someone, but even then, the body had to remain intact and warm. Yet Mu Chen spoke with such certainty—it was difficult to believe.

Noticing her hesitation, Mu Chen extended his hand. A flicker of flame appeared in his palm.

The flame swirled with black and white hues, intertwining like a Yin-Yang fish, radiating an intense and terrifying heat.

"What is this?" Bibi Dong asked sharply, her gaze locked onto the flame.

"This is the Heavenly Flame: Yin-Yang Dual Flames," Mu Chen replied.

"Heavenly Flame? Yin-Yang Dual Flames?" Bibi Dong's confusion deepened.

"As someone undergoing the Rakshasa God Trials, you should be aware that this world is not the only one in existence. In other planes of existence, there are unique powers and energies—among them, the Heavenly Flames.

"The Yin-Yang Dual Flames are born from the natural laws of creation. They represent the very essence of life and death—a balance of opposites. The Yang flame heals, bringing endless vitality, while the Yin flame destroys, leaving nothing but ashes. With this flame, combined with the pill I refined earlier, I can resurrect the dead," Mu Chen explained in detail.

Bibi Dong remained silent for a long while, deep in thought. Finally, she nodded. "Fine. I'll get what you need. Wait here."

A Month Later

Yanghun Village had returned to its quiet state. With the departure of the Tang Sect disciples, Spirit Hall personnel, and the crowd of spectators, the village was once again peaceful.

Inside a room, Mu Chen sat cross-legged, meditating. The air around him rippled slightly as space itself distorted.

"You're here," Mu Chen said with a faint smile as he opened his eyes. Bibi Dong had appeared before him.

"Let's begin," she said. With a flick of her hand, a skeletal frame floated into the air, suspended by her soul power.

"Xiao Wu, Yuehua, come in," Mu Chen called.

Two women entered the room—Xiao Wu and Tang Yuehua. Xiao Wu's expression was complicated, though the hostility in her gaze toward Bibi Dong had softened considerably. The price Bibi Dong had already paid had mitigated much of her resentment.

"The process of crafting the body and integrating the soul will take some time. During this period, do not allow anyone to disturb us," Mu Chen instructed.

With a flick of his finger, Mu Chen retrieved a jade bottle containing Bone-Merging Blood Pills from his storage soul tool.

Simultaneously, a soul emerged from a ring on Mu Chen's finger—it was the soul of Xiao Wu's mother.

"Madam, I will begin crafting the body now. Once it's ready, you will enter it to complete the fusion process," Mu Chen said solemnly, gently tossing the jade bottle toward Xiao Wu's mother.

The soul nodded gracefully.

In truth, Mu Chen had spent the past month meticulously preparing every step of the resurrection process. Xiao Wu's mother was already well-informed and had memorized the required steps.

Mu Chen raised his hand, summoning another bottle. This time, silver and gold blood flowed within it, radiating an awe-inspiring energy that made the very air tremble.

"This… this is the aura of the Silver Dragon King!" Xiao Wu's mother exclaimed in shock.

"Yes. The silver blood comes from the Silver Dragon King, while the gold blood is from the Deep Sea Demon Whale King," Mu Chen explained calmly.

"You convinced the Silver Dragon King to grant you her essence blood?" Xiao Wu's mother's disbelief was evident.

"To obtain this drop of essence blood, I offered the Silver Dragon King most of the Deep Sea Demon Whale King's blood. She had no reason to refuse," Mu Chen replied with a small smile.

"Thank you." Xiao Wu's mother bowed her head gratefully. She understood the profound value of the Silver Dragon King's blood and the benefits it would bring her after resurrection.

"You don't need to thank me. You're Xiao Wu's mother, after all," Mu Chen said warmly.

The materials Mu Chen had chosen were of the highest quality, which naturally increased the difficulty of the process exponentially.

---

"Silver Dragon King? Master?"

Bibi Dong, who had been listening from the side, stiffened in shock. For a soul beast to refer to another as "Master," it must be a being of unimaginable power. Her curiosity about this "Silver Dragon King" grew even deeper.

"Go!"

Mu Chen waved his hand, and the silver-gold blood shot out of the jade bottle, cascading onto the grey skeletal frame.

Sizzle—

As the blood made contact with the bones, plumes of white mist erupted, and a soft, sizzling sound filled the air. The skeletal frame began to glow, radiating a faint light that pulsed with life energy.

The process had begun.
