Chapter 75 - SS1

In Rainfall City, the entire metropolis had expanded more than tenfold, transforming into a thriving center capable of accommodating up to 300 million people. This city had been meticulously designed by Gu Tian to be the strongest city in existence, not only serving as a sanctuary for its inhabitants but also standing as an impenetrable fortress capable of withstanding any unforeseen threats.

The city's walls towered 100 meters high, cutting against the horizon like an impenetrable barrier. Constructed from SSS-grade Spiritual Iron, the most indestructible material in the world, even an Emperor-tier Beast or an attack from a Beast Tamer of the same level would fail to leave even a scratch on its surface.

The city's infrastructure had been reinforced beyond normal standards, with every building and structure designed to withstand catastrophic impacts and destructive forces from Epic-tier Beasts. A defense system was installed at every corner, ensuring that in times of crisis, high-level energy barriers could be activated instantaneously within every building.

Rainfall City was divided into two levels the surface level and the underground level.

On the surface level, more than 50% of the land was dedicated to residential areas, where towering skyscrapers built with cutting-edge technology could endure attacks from all levels of enemies. The remaining space had been developed into advanced agricultural zones, implementing hydroponic and aeroponic technology to cultivate crops without soil. On rooftops and specially designed structures, food crops were cultivated to ensure year-round production.

The food system had been optimized to its peak. Livestock farming was carried out in controlled environments using high-end technology to accelerate growth rates. Genetic modification was utilized to enhance both quantity and quality of food production. The city also developed synthetic food, alongside insects and algae farming, to provide additional protein sources, ensuring that no citizen would ever suffer from food shortages.

When it came to energy and resources, Rainfall City had established the ultimate energy infrastructure. Fusion and fission nuclear power plants generated tremendous energy, supplemented by alternative energy sources such as solar power, wind energy, soundwave energy, and geothermal power. These energy sources operated in harmony, allowing the city to become completely self-sufficient.

The water and air systems had also undergone revolutionary advancements. Atmospheric water generation and natural energy-based water extraction ensured that the city would never experience water shortages. Cutting-edge atomic-level purification systems filtered out all contaminants. The advanced air filtration system actively regulated oxygen levels and controlled carbon dioxide concentration, making Rainfall City home to the purest air quality in the world.

The medical system of Rainfall City was far more advanced than that of any other city. Enormous hospitals had been established, staffed with healing-type beasts and top-tier medical experts. Rare herbs and elixirs collected from all corners of the world, along with medicines personally developed by Gu Tian, were readily available. The treatments in this city could accelerate wound recovery and even cure diseases that were once considered incurable.

The education system had also evolved beyond that of any existing nation. At present, Rainfall City had ten elite academies strategically spread across the metropolis, with the Star University serving as the pinnacle of knowledge. Every student was required to enroll in this university, where all learning resources were of the highest caliber available.

The security system of the city was the most stringent and comprehensive in history. Gu Clan's secret forces were stationed in every corner, monitoring and ensuring absolute safety at all times.

Within the city, no commercial guilds remained except for the Star Chamber of Commerce, which had over ten branches scattered throughout the metropolis. Gu Tian had prohibited the existence of any other commercial organizations.

Beneath the city lay a vast underground base and refuge, capable of sheltering billions of people. Colossal warehouses were stocked with massive food reserves, along with underground livestock farms and cultivated fields designed to sustain human life for centuries if necessary.

Encircling the city, seventeen defensive crystals were strategically placed at key locations. These were not ordinary minerals but rather energy cores capable of generating a protective barrier strong enough to withstand attacks from Emperor-tier beasts effortlessly. Even if some of the crystals were destroyed, the barrier would continue to function until all seventeen cores were completely obliterated.

But the likelihood of all seventeen defensive crystals being destroyed was nearly impossible. Each crystal was safeguarded by Gu Clan's secret forces, with at least three Emperor-tier cultivators stationed at every location.

Rainfall City was no longer just a Level 4 city it had become the very heart of a new era, a city built to be the ultimate stronghold, surpassing all others in power, technology, and security.

Atop the towering walls of Rainfall City, Gu Tian stood gazing at the endless sea of ferocious beasts stretching beyond the horizon. The sheer number of creatures advancing toward the city resembled a relentless storm of destruction, an unstoppable tide crashing forward.

These were not just low-tier beasts. Among them were hundreds of Emperor-tier beasts, surging forth with incredible speed, their very presence exuding an aura of calamity. Their arrival shook the very earth beneath them, and the oppressive energy that filled the air made the atmosphere suffocating.

Gu Tian remained motionless, standing with an air of absolute calm. The cold wind swept past him, yet his gaze remained unmoved, as if he were simply observing a chessboard where all the pieces had already been set.

Over the past week, as the spiritual energy of the world continued to surge at an exponential rate, Gu Tian personally restructured the city, expanding its size and further reinforcing its defenses. Rainfall City was no longer just a sanctuary for survival it had been transformed into an impenetrable fortress.

During this time, Gu Tian also obtained two new beasts.

The first was the Blade Ant, a unique beast capable of consuming all types of poison and refining them into even deadlier toxins. Its body continuously evolved and strengthened without limit.

The second was the Purple Titan, a creature that was not naturally occurring but rather engineered by Gu Tian himself. Rather than searching for the perfect beast, he chose to create one from scratch, conducting genetic modifications and biological enhancements until he produced an invincible entity. The process consumed a monumental amount of resources, but the result was beyond perfection.

This creature possessed only a few abilities, but among them was one that made it truly terrifying immortality. The Purple Titan could not die. No matter how it was attacked or torn apart, it would revive each time, growing stronger with every resurrection. The only outcome of killing it was making it even more powerful.

Gu Tian was particularly fond of this creation. Glancing downward with a hint of boredom, he flicked his wrist lightly.

Dark roots erupted from the ground, piercing through the bodies of every beast in sight. It did not matter if they were Emperor-tier or beyond every single creature was instantly slain, their corpses collapsing lifelessly.

The new era had begun an era where humans, beasts, and various races would fight for survival.

An era where absolute power would be the sole determinant of fate.

The world was changing, and no one could escape the inevitable shift of destiny.
