Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Awakening of the Grand Beast Master

Liora blinked a few times at the blue system interface infront of her. Her heart was racing, she had read alot of System novels with Cain and even watched a few shows together.

'The system..does this mean i awakened my abilities?' Liora questioned herself as she sat upright in her bed. Upon hearing the mention of 'System' in her mind, The blue panel infront of her changed to something else and displayed her Status Window.

Liora glanced at her stats, her eyes sparkling with excitement and joy. She had truly awakened her system, by the sound of it, her proffesion sounded ridiculously powerful. Alongside that she had two Talents, much more than any normal being.

She knew that if she was discovered with a Talent, she would undoubtably be valued by the kingdom, but two? She didn't know what could happen to her, but it couldn't possibly be good.

Liora began examining her proffession, Talents, and Skills all individually, studying their effects and understanding their powers.

[Grand Beast Master: The Grand Beast Master can summon and tame various beasts, forging a deep bond that enhances their abilities and intelligence. The bond allows for the exchange of experience points and skills between the master and the summoned beasts.]

[Nature's Gift: Allows the user to be able to communicate and understand the emotions of summoned and tamed beasts. This Talent also greately increases the chance of taming and Blood Contracting a beast, making them more likely to submit to the masters will]

[A Master's Blessing: Grants a 10x Effect to Beasts, Experience Gained, Stat Points Gained, Beast Points Gained, and Skills.]

[Summon Lesser Beast:Allows the Grand Beast Master to summon a lesser beast to fight alongside them.]

[Tame: Allows the Grand Beast Master to tame wild beasts, turning them into loyal allies. The success rate depends on the beast's will and the master's skills.]

[Blood Contract: Add a drop of blood and forcefully tame a beast. The beast will serve and obey the Grand Beast Master against its will.]

A grin formed on Liora's lips as she took in the knowledge of her abilities. She could tell that her abilities were strong to say the least, she couldn't wait to try out her abilities.

'With this, i'll show them, i'll show him that arrogant bastard, just who he was messing with.' Liora made a silent promise to Carl.

She stepped off her bed, walking to the middle of the room. Liora struck out her palm and tried her [Summon Lesser Beast] Skill for the first time. A green magic circle appeared on the floor as it pulsed with a faint light.

Out of it came 10 cute fluffy rabbit, their fur as white as snow. Liora stood there, confusion masking her expression.

'Huh...what is this??' She complained internally, she expected to something like a wolf, or a snake, but a rabbit? No!

Liora asked the system and it appraised the cute fluffy creatures. They were called Snow Rabbits, and all their Stats were up to 5. They didnt possess any Skills, but they were still stronger than Liora, she had to admit.

Her [A Master's Blessing] Talent kicked in and the fluffy Snow Rabbits began to glow in a bright green light. She was blinded momentarily, but soon smirked once the light subsided.

She glanced at them again and it turned out they were (Blessed) due to the effects of her [A Master's Blessing] Talent. The weak Snow Rabbits now had a average stat of 50, making them much more stronger than Liora.

'Yes! Magnificent!' Liora danced inwardly, excitement clouding her mind. She looked at the snow rabbits infront of her, their cute appearance was now something deadly to behold.

She deactivated her Skill, the rabbits dissapearing. She couldn't risk anyone seeing her, not until the ceremony takes place. She wanted to try out her abilities in combat, but she knew that would be impossible, she can't sneak out of the mansion grounds due to the impossibly tight security.

As she paced back and forth, her mind raced with plans. If I can't leave the grounds, then I need to find a way to practice here.

Suddenly, an idea struck her. She could train with the Snow Rabbits in secret. While they were not the fearsome beasts she envisioned, their enhanced abilities would allow her to test her combat skills and control over her new powers. It's better than nothing, she thought.

Liora took a deep breath, summoning the rabbits again. She concentrated, feeling the energy flow through her. The green magic circle reappeared, and once more, the fluffy creatures bounded into existence.

"Alright, let's see what you can do!" she called out, excitement bubbling within her.

As she commanded them, Liora discovered that, even without formal training, the rabbits responded instinctively to her emotions. They hopped around energetically, nipping at the air and playfully chasing one another. It was almost too cute to handle.

"Focus, focus," she murmured to herself, feeling the need to channel their energy into something more productive. Liora took a step back, raising her hand as she tried to envision how they might work as a team.

"Alright, Snow Rabbits, follow my lead!" she shouted, adopting a more authoritative tone. To her delight, the rabbits began to align themselves, forming a loose semicircle around her.

With a surge of confidence, Liora decided to test her command. She pointed to a wall in her room. "Charge!"

The Snow Rabbits bounded forward, their tiny paws thumping against the floor. They collided with the wall, bouncing off with adorable squeaks. Liora laughed, the sound bubbling up despite herself.

"Not quite the ferocious army I was hoping for, but it'll do for now," she mused, watching the rabbits tumble over one another.

A sudden knock at her door startled her, sending her heart racing. She quickly waved her hand, and the Snow Rabbits disappeared just as the door creaked open.

It was her maid, a sweet woman named Mira, peering in with a concerned expression. "My lady, is everything alright? I thought I heard…"

Liora quickly plastered on a smile, fighting to suppress her excitement. "I was just... practicing my dance. You know how I am!"

Mira gave her a gentle smile. "Just remember to keep your voice down; we wouldn't want anyone to overhear."

Liora nodded, her heart still racing but relieved. As the door closed, she leaned against her wall, breathing a sigh of relief.

Tonight, she vowed, I will train harder and learn to master my skills before the ceremony.

With newfound determination, Liora began to strategize her training regimen. She would sneak out into the gardens at night, where she could summon and command her rabbits without anyone seeing her. If she could train them well, perhaps she could even venture into combat against lower-tier beasts.

The thought sent a thrill through her. This is just the beginning.

As she lay back down, her heart swelled with ambition. I'll show them—every last one of them—what a Grand Beast Master can do!
