Chapter 60 - Chapter 61: Clash of Ice

But in the shadows, Haku clenched his fists, rage bubbling just beneath the surface. This isn't over, Haruno. You will pay for your actions.

With a swift motion, Haku leaped from the shadows, targeting Hyuk with a flurry of ice needles. "I'll make you regret killing Zabuza!" he shouted, his voice filled with vengeance.

Hyuk reacted instinctively, forming a barrier of ice to block the incoming needles. "You're going to regret coming after me!" he replied, his eyes narrowing in focus.

Kakashi and the others stood back, sensing the intensity of the situation. Kakashi observed, knowing that Hyuk needed to face this challenge alone. "Stay alert, team," he instructed, eyes scanning for any sign of danger.

The two ice users stared each other down, the tension palpable. Hyuk's breath came out in visible puffs as he began to manipulate the ice around him. With a swift motion, he unleashed a wave of ice shards that shot toward Haku.

In response, Haku summoned his ice mirrors, reflecting the shards back toward Hyuk. "You're fast, but I'm faster!" Haku taunted, darting from mirror to mirror as he closed the distance.

Hyuk gritted his teeth, dodging the incoming shards with agility. "You'll have to do better than that!" he shouted, channeling more chakra as he formed an Ice Dragon, its massive form roaring to life. The dragon surged forward, crashing through the mirrors and forcing Haku to evade.

As Haku backflipped out of the way, he summoned a barrage of ice needles from his palms, launching them toward Hyuk with deadly precision. Hyuk focused, forming another barrier just in time to deflect the needles, but the impact rattled him.

"Impressive, but it won't be enough!" Haku yelled, leaping into the air. With a swift motion, he created a massive wave of ice that spread out like a tidal wave, threatening to engulf Hyuk.

"Not if I can help it!" Hyuk responded, slamming his hands to the ground. Ice pillars erupted from the earth, rising to meet Haku's wave. The two forces collided, sending a shockwave through the area.

Tsunami, watching from a distance, felt a mix of awe and fear. The boy she had shared a night with was fighting with incredible strength. He's so powerful… she thought, amazed by Hyuk's mastery of ice.

As the fight continued, Hyuk and Haku exchanged blows, each utilizing their ice techniques in a deadly dance. Haku maneuvered swiftly between mirrors, trying to catch Hyuk off guard, but Hyuk's keen perception allowed him to track Haku's movements, countering with ice spikes that shot up from the ground.

"Your techniques are impressive, but you're fighting for the wrong reasons!" Hyuk shouted, determination fueling his words.

"Wrong reasons?" Haku spat, his eyes narrowing with fury. "You took everything from me! Zabuza was my only family!"

Hyuk paused, the weight of Haku's words sinking in, but he shook his head, pushing aside any hesitation. "I won't let your hatred consume me!"

Gathering his strength, Hyuk decided it was time to end the fight. He formed the Ice Coffin technique, channeling all his chakra into it. Ice spiraled around Haku, creating a massive structure that trapped him within.

As the coffin sealed, spikes began to form inside, growing menacingly. "No!" Haku yelled, panic flashing in his eyes as he realized what was about to happen.

"Consider this a mercy," Hyuk replied coldly, his resolve unshaken. The spikes erupted inward, piercing through the ice coffin and fatally wounding Haku.

The battlefield fell silent as Haku's body went limp, the spikes retracting, leaving the ice coffin shattered. Everyone stared in shock, the brutal outcome of the battle weighing heavily on them.

Tsunami gasped, her heart racing. She couldn't believe that the boy she had spent the night with was capable of such power, and yet, it had cost Haku his life.

Naruto's eyes widened in disbelief. He felt a mix of admiration and fear for Hyuk's strength. I can't believe he did that...

As Hyuk stood over the remnants of the ice coffin, the reality of what he had done settled in. He had killed, not just in self-defense but with intent, and now he had to confront the weight of that choice.
