Kae's POV
"Hey weakling the deputy chief called you."
"Y-yes" I stood up and walk.
"Hey Gary where is that weakling going?" I heard Brandon ask.
"He was called by the deputy chief, I think the chief will give him a lesson hahahaha."
"Serves him right for being weak. Weak can't last in this field, he'll have to resign sooner or later."
I let a loud sigh.
It's been a year since I worked as a policeman, yes I am weak and yet I still joined this field. Why did I become a police officer? I don't know the answer or it is because of the tragedy that happened to my parents when I was in highschool. Is it because I want to be strong and revenge my family for killing those monsters.
Since I was studying many students bullied me and called weak and numb. Well what can I do? I ignored them. I thought everything would change if I got a job but things got worse. They were bullying me for not capturing any criminals. The reason for that is because I don't want to encounter some monsters, it is very terrifying.
I last here despite being weak, cause I can run errands for them. My life is not easy I have to deal with some difficult people.
I am now in front of the deputy chief office.
I knock twice.
"S-sir"
"You! You insolent brat! How could you not capturing that criminal when he's in your grasp! How could you let him escape! Is this because you are weak?! Damn weaklings are a pain in the neck. I am giving you a damn many chance, you are wasting all of those! If you can't still capture a criminal then resign! If you stay to be a weakling there's no future for you! You shouldn't enter this field in the first place. Leave."
All I could do was lower my head. I need to be strong enough..
The world we are living right now was full of monsters. Everyday, hours or minutes a portal appeared out of nowhere. Only the heroes called guide can defeat those monsters..
"Are you okay Kae?"
"Oh, Nine. Yes I'm fine." he smiled. He is Nine he's a kind hearted person.
"Guys!" Harold shouted.
"What is it now Harold!" Gary shouted back.
"A portal appeared near our building!"
"What do you mean?" the deputy chief came running.
"We're doomed." other policemens cried in fear.
"Look!" Brandon said.
My body froze of what I saw.
"That's the f-four kings." the deputy said while trembling in fear.
"What!? What do we do now!" Gary hold my shoulders and smiled wickedly.
"W-what"
"What if we feed him to those kings for them to spare us."
"Are you insane! That won't do you idiot!" Harold exclaimed.
"Calm down. There must be a guide patrolling the area. I will distract these kings to buy some time. Contact the department of guides quickly!" Nine changed into his white armor and flew to where the kings are.
I'm still in shocked because of what I saw. The four kings were terrifying and all of them had an enormous amount of mana.
"What are you looking for call the department guide!"
"Y-yes." I immediately goes to where my computer is and dialed the department.
"What the fuck! Nine can't hold out any longer!" my hands are trembling and I feel like losing oxygen.
"Ahhh!" I turned my head to where my comrades and to my surprise one of the four kings are now in front of me.
"You lowly humans deserve to die."
I could not move. I am losing my breath, my heart is beating faster...what can a weakling do..
A minutes before...
Necrosis POV
"Abyss!" I shouted when he was stabbed in the front.
"Fucking hell!" Abyss shouted.
"This is getting interesting. I thought this damn lord of void won't intervene the kings. I was wrong..let's kill this damn lord."
"We have to leave, we can't last long. You are already bleeding to death Necrosis! Your shadows are already dispersing, we are already out of mana. Stop being a fighting maniac!"
"Snyx stop persuading that fighting maniac!" I smiled of what Abyss said.
"Damn Necrosis! Naya is dying! create a portal now!" Synx shouted.
Damn lord of void. I will meet you again and take my revenge.

We arrived at the human world. I saw a building it seems like we arrived at the police station.
I sensed a energy. I smiled. We the four kings need a vessels to fight that lord again..
"That guy is.." before I could speak Abyss disappeared and destroyed the building. Who the hell is a fighting maniac Abyss.
I immediately teleported when I saw Abyss trying to harm my vessel.
"Abyss. He's the one that I choose." I coldly said..
"Y-yes of course."
"All three of you find your vessels, if not our mission will failed." I said in telepathy.
They nodded..
I saw the man lying on the floor. Did he passed out?
Kae's POV
I woke up in a hospital..the door opened and the doctor came in..
"How are you feeling mr. Verik?" he asked.
"I-I am fine."
"Good to hear. Then I'll leave now, we still have to run a test on you, so rest okay?" I nodded.
I search my body if I have scratch or wound but I didn't find any, except for this tattoo. How did I get this? The tattoo has a two horns and it is on my left arm.
"You're wondering about that symbol?"
"Y-you!" why is one of the four kings here?
"Don't be afraid. I won't bite kekeke. Anyways, that isn't tattoo. It is my symbol as a necromancer."
"Do you mean the necromancer who can summoned a shadow army?"
"Yes. You are right. I will tell the reasons why we are here. We came here to find vessels to fight the lord of the void, the lord destroyed our homeland. And so is yours. The portal that keeps appearing here in your country was cause of th lord of the void. He wants to turn the whole world into nothingness. He target humans first and he targeted us." he grith his teeth and clenched his fist.
"It has nothing to do with me. And why me? You can find your vessels anywhere."
"Why you? Cause you look interesting and I can feel that aura you are hiding." what does he mean by that.
"I am powerless and weak. So please find another vessel. I wanted to live a normal life."
"Do you think your world was normal? No. This world will turn into nothingness sooner or later." he stop and look me in the eyes.."I can see your memories. You wanted to be strong right? to get revenge and kill those monster who killed your family. This is your chance..and I am already dispersing. So I need someone to accept my powers to fight that lord..do whatever you want with my power. It has no limitations and you can summon the shadows. My shadow army is very strong..If you wanted to kill those bastards who bullied you, then kill them."
"I-I can't do that to them. Even tho they bully me. I still treat them as my comrades."
"You kindhearted idiot." he laughed.. "This is the reason why I choose you. I am a fighting maniac you know." he's a what?!
"Uhm what happened to my comrades?"
"They're all fine. Snyx managed to stop Abyss from destroying your building. He's a bit sensitive to police. Cause he was arrested for being the fighting maniac instead of me. Kekeke."
"What if I don't want to accept your power?"
"You don't have a choice. The symbol is already embedded in your left arm. This is the first and the last conversation we are having. You are now the new king of Necromancer, Kaelion Verik." he smiled and disappeared..
I let a loud sigh.
"What I'm gonna do with his powers? Okay! I already decided. I'm using this power and train myself to get more stronger!"

Is training this hard? I'm almost out of breath. This trainor I hired was strong and it feels like he'll kill me anytime.
"Mr. Verik focus! If you wanted to be stronger, then focus!"
"Mr. Gray. This...is a f-first time for me." Ghad I'm so tired.
"Let's run!" he grab my hand and dragged me.
After a week of training. I choose not to rely on Mr. Gray. I paid him and told him that my training with him was amazing...well it such a waste for not training with him anymore. Mr. Gray was a guide and he's one of the strongerst guide in this country.
I should train myself personally and find the other three kings...
