Kael's POV
It's been two weeks since they joined here, all we do is capture criminals, running everywhere where criminals is.
"Where's Kael?"
"I'm here." I stood up from my chair and walked toward the deputy chief.
He handed me a brown envelope.
"You already knew what was inside. Be careful and don't let it slip in your hands." I nodded. This envelope contains the criminal case. And my task right now is to put this in the guide library.
"We are coming with you."
"Who ordered you to accompany him?" deputy said in a serious tone.
"Us." Abyss, Nat and Lowen said in unison.
"Ahem. Since you said to be careful. And I knew that this envelope contains evidences. So It would be better if they accompany me." I answered.
"Well, suit yourself." he said and walked away.
"Bunch of weirdos." Gary murmured.
Lowen walks toward him. I saw her eyes turns into violet.
"Lowen, stop." I tap her shoulder. "You can't do this here. They are just mere humans." I whispered.

We arrived at the BOOK OF LIBERTIES OF GUIDE.
"Wow, it's my first time seeing this huge library, unlike Dark Mantle." Nat exclaimed.
"Well Necrosis used to hide all the books cause he's so tired by watching them. That dumbass." Lowen commented.
"Tsk. It's reading Lowen not watching. Let's go." Abyss said.
"Whatever. Necrosis said it!"
"Come on guys. Let's not waste time."

"Excuse me sir. I'm officer Verik, I would like to put this file on the criminal case in the case hall."
"Can I have your Id officer?" I handed him my Id. It's my first time seeing this guard here. He must be new.
"Oh isn't officer Kaelion Verik." I smiled. It's the librarian! "Let him in. I know him."
The guard gave me my Id and pressed the red button for us to enter.
"Is it another criminal case?" Librarian LJ.
"Yep, but there is also evidence. Oh and can I look for something here in the library? I want to look at some information."
"Yea sure. And who are they?"
"Ah I forgot they are my team. This is Lowen, Nat and Abyss."
"Pleasure to meet you." the three said in unison. LJ smiled.
"Suit yourself officer Verik. I'll be on my way." he walks in another direction.
"Guys. Look for it now. I'll just have to put this file. And behave, don't cause a trouble here." they nodded and disappear from my sight.
I open the door of the hall. The files are floating. Who the hell..
"I-I'm sorry. I pressed the wrong button that's the reason why those files are floating."
"Dekama? why are you here?" It's rare to see her here. She's a subordinate of Nine.
"Nine sent me here to put this file here." she said.
"Give me the file. I will put it for you." she handed me the file. I used my powers to gather the file, and put it on their case.
"Sorry huhu."
"It's okay."
"Can I repay the kindness? I'll treat you to a dinner." I shook my head.
"It's okay. I don't have that much time anyways. Thank you by the way." I smiled. I saw her cheeks turned red. Is she sick?
"Uhm, so I will be going." she lower her head and run fast.
I open the big case and put the envelope on the case.
"I should also search the information about the void." I muttered.
Abyss POV
I use telepathy to contact Nat.
"Nat, I search this part of the library. There's nothing here."
"I haven't search all the books here. Come here, help me."
"Where is Kael? is he not done yet?" Lowen interrupt.
"I'm coming don't worry my work is done." Kael said.
"Hey idioms why are you butting in. This conversation is just for me and Nat."
"Hey muscle head. We can hear you talking that's why." Lowen said.
I shook my head and sigh.
I saw Kael walking to the other side of the hall.
"Kael." I called.
"Hey. Let's go together." he said and walk beside me. I can see why Necro chooses this kid.
Nine's POV
"Dekama?" I saw her running down the stairs.
"S-sorry." she uttered, gasping for air.
"Take a breath and calm down."
"I'm fine."
"So why are you running?" her face turns red. Is she sick?
"Uhm, I did a mistake earlier and Kael managed to help me."
"Did you press the wrong button again? Anyways, your face and neck is red."
"T-That's!" I laugh.
"Come on, get in to the car we are going to patrol area."
"Yes!"
I will pass by the hospital later to have Dekama checked up.
"I saw his team." Dekama uttered.
"Whose team?"
"Officer Kael." So those guys who were with him that day.
"That's good then."
Kael I hope you are not getting involve with bad people.
Kael's POV
I was surprise when I heard the alarm.
"Guys let's go!" I contacted them through telepathy.
"I found the book! It's in secret case, I found it by accident." Nat said. That's why the alarm rings.
"Kael!" Lowen shouted while running towards me.
"Let's go! Where's the book?"
"I-I already made... the copy so I returned it to the case." Nat said while gasping for breath.
"Good let's go."

"I thought they're going to capture us." Lowen said and laugh.
"No they can't," I said. "They can't capture police officers withouth evidence."
"Yea right." Abyss agreed.
"We still have task to do right? Kael?" Lowen said.
"Oh yes. We still need to patrol the city."
We drove at possible are where crimes can be seen in a broad day light.
"Can we pass by the convenience store? I'm craving ice cream." Lowen said.
"Yea sure. We should also rest. It's been hours since we started patroling."

After I paid the ice cream I bought. I saw Lowen standing while crossing her arms.
"Here" I gave her the ice cream.
"Ohh thank you Kael."
"What you're thinking?" she looks up the sky.
"I we able to defeat the lord of the void, we will go back to our home. But to think our home was destroyed and our people, other was killed, only a few survived. We are thinking that we should go back and rebuild our kingdom. Will you come with us our king?"
"Maybe? I don't know yet. I can't decide, I don't what's ahead of us. And don't think about things like that yet, we still have plenty of time. We need to strengthen ourselves and heal to defeat the void."
"I know It's just it worries me about our people that we left behind there." I ruffled her hair and laugh.
"We can visit them if you want. Hmm," we have a 3 days rest. It would be possible.
"We don't have rest." she dropped.
"We have. 3 days to be exact, it's on the other next days."
"Well 3 days is plenty. Let's head back now."
I smiled. "Yea, they should be waiting for us."

"WHAT?" I run fast when I hear Lowen shout.
"What's wrong?" I asked when I arrived.
"Look." she pointed the car full of junk foods and other kind foods and saw the two eating noodles.
"This is too much. Are you gonna stuff yourself just with this? It's not healthy."
"But we are hungry." Abyss said and slurp his noodles.
"You should have told us." Lowen said.
"Let's just give these to those kids in the shelter." I suggest.
"Yea that's right. And we should go to the restaurant right now." I nodded at what Lowen said.
We pass by the shelter and gave the foods. And head to the nearest restaurant.
"I saw this online," Nat uttered. "This is a famous restaurant and many guides dine here."
I stop the car.."You go on ahead, I'll park the car." they nodded.
I might saw Nine here, it's his favorite resto.
"Kael is that you?" huh Dekama?
"Oh it's you." Speak of the devil. "Nine you are here."
"Of course it's my favorite resto after all."
"Is Dekama sick?" I asked.
"She has a light fever?" light?
"N-No I'm n-not sick. I'm alright hahaha."
"She seems sick to me. Look her face and neck is red."
"You are right. She has been like that earlier since she met you."
"Huh? That has nothing to do with me." he shrugged his shoulders.
I left them and hear Nine laughing.
"Where have you been?" Nat asked.
"Sorry, I met Nine at the parking."
"Nine?" Abyss seems bothered.
"Why?"
"I can sense some energy in him." Abyss said while tapping the menu.
"Maybe cause he is a guide?" Nat commented.
"Let's not think anything, just order what you like." they smiled.
Even tho I live on my own in the past, I have a lot of money. My parents savings was given to me after they died. Not to brag but I am rich. It's just that I don't want people to recognize me so I rented a cheap apartment to be lowkey.
"Why are you smiling there?" Nat snapped me out.
"Nothing." she rolled her eyes.
I can also sense some energy in him. I just don't want that to bother me. I knew Nine since I was a kid.
"Here are the delicious food!" Abyss exclaimed.
"Rest room." I mouthed.
"Take your time." Nat nodded.
I was walking in the hallway and heard Nine's voice. Huh? I think he's talking with someone.
I hid myself.
"We still have plenty of time, my lord."
"When are you going to start? My plan is to destroy-" he stops. "I can sense someone, a powerful one." I immediately hide in the dark and go back to the dining.
"Hey you alright? You are anxious."
"I'm fine Lowen." I smiled. Now that I heard him talking with someone and destroy something. It seems like I need to investigate this matter.
"Kael to earth. You are spacing out. Aren't you gonna eat the steak? then give it to me. I will eat it." Abyss said. I nodded.
It's bothering me. Who's this My Lord?
