Aria was applying the medicinal paste on the person's wounds.
She tried her best not to look at him, especially his eyes. They were so beautiful. The colour was of her favourite flower that grew on the top of the hill.
Slight blue.
But why did he look so angry? His eyes had been so fierce when she had touched him. She had been just checking if he had fever because of the wounds.
When she woke up and realised that she had been sleeping for the whole two days, she panicked. The first thought that had come to her mind if he had been fine.
But she had not expected that he would react like this.
Perhaps he didn't like to be touched. Aria told herself and stood up after she had applied the medicinal paste.
He must be hungry. She thought to herself and decided to cook.
The sound of thunder could be heard and the rain started soon.
Rayan had been watching her cooking silently. He wanted to ask her if someone else lived here but didn't know how to make her understand his words.
So he stayed silent.
When the aroma of the food wafted through his nose, he couldn't help but sigh, feeling hungry all of a sudden and realizing that it had been long since he ate anything. Fortunately, he was a martial artist and had seen days where he had to survive without food for a whole week so his body could endure it.
While thinking all this, he started thinking about his subordinates too.
Were they fine?
"Wuye" (Eat)
Rayan came out of his thoughts on hearing the voice and looked at the girl standing in front of him.
He then looked at the bowl in her hands. The cooked vegetables floated on the soup. It looked simpler but it increased his appetite.
He sat up slowly and took the bowl from her hands.
"Thank you."
He said genuinely although knowing that she didn't understand him.
As expected, she stared at him silently as if trying to interpret what he said.
She had been taking care of him since he woke up. He still doesn't know who brought him here and treated him. Once he gets to know, he will thank that person as well and try to help them in return.
Thinking this, Rayan lifted the spoon and started to eat while Aria went back towards the stove and filled a bowl for herself.
She was very hungry!
On the other hand, Rayan had one sip and he felt his appetite increasing all of a sudden. It was very delicious. So simple yet so tasty...
Five minutes later, he had finished everything in his bowl.
Aria who had been busy eating hers own gathered her courage and glanced at him. However, her eyes widened a little when she saw him putting his bowl aside.
Then she looked at her own bowl that wasn't even half finished.
This...didn't he eat too fast?
But then, she thought that he was injured and nodded her head in satisfaction.
'Good, he needed energy to recover.'
Thinking this, she filled another bowl for him and gave it to him.
Rayan looked at the bowl in her hands as she stood in front of him again.
"Wuya" (Eat)
He heard her say. This time however, he tried to learn her words.
"Wuya ...food?"
He asked as he pointed towards the bowl.
Aria blinked and then tried to understand his gestures. A small smile came on her lips unconsciously as she realized that he wanted to learn what she was saying.
"Wuya..." (Eat)
She said again as she collected her fingers and made a gesture of eating.
"Ohh...."
Rayan whispered, understanding what she meant. His eyes were however stuck on her lips as she smiled mildly.
She looked more beautiful when she smiled.
"Wuya" (Eat)
Rayan came out of his trance when she forwarded the bowl towards him again. He looked away from her lips, feeling guilty of staring so ashamedly. After that, he kept his eyes down only as he took the bowl and started eating.
In the silence, they finished their meal. For that time, Rayan forgot all of his worries also. The past few months had been very difficult for him. He had been stressed about his people but that one night made him feel so relaxed that even though he slept for two days, he wanted to sleep again after eating.
Aria also yawned after finishing her meal.
She stood up and took the two bowls that he had placed on the nearby table. After washing the three bowls, when she looked towards him, he was already asleep.
She smiled slightly and went back to her room.
As she laid down on her bed and closed her eyes, Aria didn't feel scared after so long inside that hut.
It was not only Rayan who slept soundly that night. It was Aria too.
After three months of losing her grandmother, that was the first time she slept well after having a full stomach.

The next morning, Rayan was woken up by the sound of birds.
Sitting up slowly on his so-called bed, he looked outside through the only window. The rain had stopped.
Rayan stood up. He picked his outer robe from the nearby table. It was dry now.
Though it smelled a little, he knew it would not be wise to step outside without it with an injured body. After that, he walked towards the door of the hut. He removed the latch, somewhat satisfied that it was quite strong. Once stepped outside, he closed the door carefully so that no wild animal would be able to enter easily.
As he walked forward, a frown marred his forehead because he could see nothing else except trees, grasses and hills.
Where exactly was he?

On the other hand, inside the hut Aria woke up. She looked outside the window and realized it was late morning. Biting her lips she blamed herself.
She was supposed to wake up early. She had an injured person to take care of.
Saying this to herself and worried about the person, she set her dress properly and got down from the bed.
However, the worry in her eyes was slowly replaced by sadness when she saw an empty wooden board.
The blanket laid aside and there was no sign of him anywhere.
She looked at the properly closed door and her eyes dimmed more.
Did he leave...leave even without meeting her?
But why would he meet her before leaving? She questioned herself. She had offended him by touching him. He must be very unhappy with her and didn't like her presence.
It was alright. She was a strong girl. She was living on her own before too.
Though she told herself this, her eyes welled up and soon fat tears rolled down her cheek.
"Hi Li Ya Noyemda?" (Am I so unlikeable?)
Aria whispered as she sobbed covering her eyes.
And just at that moment, the latch made a sound.
