"Good morning grandma. Did you sleep well yesterday night?"I asked her at the morning breakfast table . As usual with a smile on her face,she replied " oh! Obviously dear i am . Did you slept well ?"
I nodded .The house servents now slowly served the food in front of everyone. Even though everyone was present at the breakfast table,expect my second grandmother,when I asked about her everyone gave me a angry look,to control the situation my grandmother told me not to worry about her,she does not eat at the table with anyone ,her food is delivered to her room always. Mr. Jackson was about to say something but I noticed he went silent. As I was walking upstairs after breakfast ,I saw food being taken to my grandmother's room by her caretaker .Seeing the servent i stopped her and told her to give it to me," give it to me lily, I will take the food " .At first lily objected then handed me the food and said,"ok".
As i entered into her room seeing me at first she got angry and yelled at me then she softened a bit and asked me," what do you want huh? Did no one forbade you to talk to me and come into my room . Don't you know I am a bad woman. But I have to say that you have guts for sure. Otherwise you can't stand here still now ." . Seeing me staring at her without even a blink she asked me again," Are not you afraid of me that I will immediately start causing a scene ". I politely said "grandmother".Hearing this she remained silent for a while and then looked at me with tears in her eyes and told me to repeat what I said. When I repeated it,she looked at me with shock for a while and then wept .Seeing her crying,I was shocked at first,
Then I went ahead and asked her the reason of her crying. She looked at me and said," This is the result of my excessive love and trust towards my sister". I said, "You mean grandma?why ?"She looked at me and as soon as she started to speak she suddenly stopped and started to say," No no I can't tell you because If i do you would turn your back on me like everyone else did ". I calmed her down and tried to explain her that I wouldn't do that so she could safely tell me. Suddenly,the door opened and my grandmother entered the room fiercely and then she looked at me angrily and grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the room and closed the door again. Grandma brust in anger and asked me what I was doing inside and who gave me permission to enter there and talked with her .Her face turned into red because of anger .Then suddenly she started to weep and colided me,and said,"No matter what never listened to her,she is a witch ,she can never tolarate my happiness ,she always tried to make a gap with me to everyone". Noticing my unbelievable glare at her she released me from her grip and put her hands on my shoulder and said,"you will going to listen to me. Right! I can trust you,answer me may i right?" Without saying any word i just nodded. She left the place and before leaving she,again alarted me about not to talk to her again. Then she started to call Mr.Brown. I can still heard the crying voice of my second grandmother.
We are here for a break from city's busy lifestyle,but it turns out to be a punishment for me . At the dinner table my grandmother suddenly suggested to resign his job and permanently shift here and look after our family businesses. Unbelievably my father agreed. Not only that my grandmother also suggested my father to make admission in the village school,she will personally took care of that .After finishing our dinner we got up and wishing each other good night we left ."Ugh! I can't believe my father just agreed with that nonsense . I can't even sleep" i said to myself. But still i tried to sleep at least . At midnight around 1:30 a.m. my sleep broke down with a mild noise . I came outside, when I noticed a slightest light is coming from her room . Isn't she slept yet,we finised our dinner at 8:30 and at 10 p.m. she took her sleeping pills,then what is she doing? I peeked at her room and I was shocked, isn't that Lily ? But why is she get beaten by her . I just can't believe with my own eyes that a person who is like a angel to everyone in the morning how could she beat someone so cruelly at night and why isn't Lily protesting? I tried to hear what my grandmother is telling her . " What the hell do you think you did in the morning huh? Do you have any idea? Why the hell then I am keeping you ? What if she tell her the truth and she believed it . Then are you going take responsibility for that ?" My grandmother telling this constantly to Lily .After beating her she permitted her to go.As soon as she stood up i rushed into my room . A lot of questions are started to spin around my mind. Like what is the truth she's taking about? Is she hiding something from us ?
