Medeia had watched the cooldown for five minutes. Her feet tapped the floor anxiously, waiting for the number to reach zero.
After two days apart from Lucian, Medeia had lost the ability to sleep soundly at night. She felt something was wrong whenever she couldn't lie on his chest while she slept.
"My clothes look fine, don't they?" Medeia asked Naomi as she turned around in front of her.
She was wearing a fitted black top and a red leather jacket, along with a pair of black cargo pants and black boots. The look was practical for the harsh environment, but still stylish enough to look pretty in front of Lucian.
"You always look good in any outfit," Naomi complimented.
"I know."
Naomi grimaced softly and immediately wanted to take back her compliment. "It's not like Lucian's asking you out on a date, is it?"
