"Master, wake up.."
Emily woke up from a Lucid dream to a sweet sounding voice that was music to her ears. She opened her eyes, and stared into the violet eyes, crackling with electricity, belonging to a girl about 15 years old or younger.
She was cute, with chubby rosy cheeks, despite her expressionless face, "How long was I asleep?" Emily asked, while she sat up from the floor.
The girl tilted her head, as she sniffed at Emily like a dog. It was then Emily noticed wolf ears on top of her head, dark as her hair.
"I do not understand the concept of time, master," she replied.
Emily just shrugged, and got up, "Well it's not like it matters anyway, as long as the experiment was a success, what more could I want?"
The girl appeared confused, and just blankly stared at Emily. While Emily noticed the girl was naked, and knowing there wasn't anything of use in this apartment, especially something proper to wear. She figure it was high time, they left.
Emily took the girl's hand in hers, and dragged her out of the apartment building. All the while ignoring the countless system notification that kept sounding in her head.
But her eyes flashed with interest, when she heard an awakening of a Concept, a word that reminded her of what she saw when appraising the girl's stats.
She didn't know what a Concept was, but it sure as hell, sounded interesting. She whispered 'Status' under her breath as she got out the apartment building. And was graced by the two most annoying moons, red and gold, she called them.
"Seriously though, how could it be possible for earth's gravity to handle three moons without any major changes besides the obvious? Shouldn't there have been earthquakes, possibly volcanic eruption or something. I mean did the earth grow bigger at some point?"
"It did?" The girl replied to her mumbling, whilst Emily's status window finally materialised in front of her.

"Oh, it seems the summoning Symbiote was a one time thing, which rises a dozen questions.." Emily muttered to herself. Even though hours ago, she had been moaning about having a companion, she had conveniently forgotten all about the girl.
When Emily read up on the stats, her eyes flashed with contempt. But she instantly cooled down, when she read up on her awakened Concept thanks to her summon.
Emily smilingly turned to her confused summon. She felt like hugging her, "You're very much my lucky charm."
"Yes, master?!"
Emily amusingly shook her head, at the confused state of her summon. Which now she realises, she hadn't yet named.
She grasped her chin, and thought carefully about the name. Looking at the girl up and down, she wondered if perhaps a cuter name suited her?
"Do have a name you would like me to call you?" She asked the girl.
"That right is only reserved for master, not a lowly summon," she immediately replied.
"Don't call yourself that," Emily rebutted. "You're my friend, not just a summon."
She tilted her head in disbelief, "friend?" She asked.
"Yes, a friend, someone who's an equal, loyal and supportive of her partner. That's my definition of a friend. What? Don't you want to be my friend?"
"No, I mean yes, I mean no, I mean I.. I want to be master's friend!"
"Good, then no more of this master nonsense, from now on call me Emily."
The girl wanted to refuse, but Emily's stern look stopped her in her tracks. She meekly bowed her head, and muttered in a low tone.
"Emi..ly."
The girl's wolf ears perked up, as her face became flushed.
"You really are cute," she commented, as she patted the girl's head. And the girl responded by leaning into her palm.
"Mmm.. I think I'll just call you Fenrir, I think it means something, but I don't remember. Fenrir, how about it?"
The girl mulled over it, before nodding, a small smile blooming in her otherwise expressionless face.
"I like it mast—Emi..ly.."
Emily nodded in satisfaction, just as the same time she felt the soul-bind connection deepen. And at the same time the system notification sounded in her head. She ignored it, as it seems they had attracted unwanted company.
Unfortunately the company wasn't a werewolf but a human. Both Emily and Fenrir ignored the person and past right by him.
"Stop right there little ladies!" The human male called after them.
Emily stopped, and faced the man. He was a rather fit man, with gentle features that at one time would've been mistaken for being too feminine. But due to the world going to hell, it had been hardened.
He was dirty, but dressed with proper gear, like army boots, cargo pants with many pockets, jacket for the wind. And a small backpack that won't weigh him down, during any dangerous situation.
"What do you want?" Emily asked nonchalantly.
"I want to know what you two are?" His voice was hard, dry. And demanding.
Emily gave a slight shrug, "Can't you see? We're human."
"Not with those eyes you're not, tell me or else.."
"Or else what, you and your mutt are going to attack two little innocent girl's for the crime of having odd eyes? Are you a psycho or what?"
The man became guarded when Emily mentioned the Symbiosis werewolf, hiding in the shadows.
The man's trick might have worked well with a different person, but Emily wasn't a person. Her sense of smell and hearing were enhanced. And even without consciously tuning in her senses, they always alerted her, at slightest of danger.
"Look dude, I know you're hungry, but I'm not your next meal. Your breath reeks of human blood and flesh, you eat your own kind to survive, but I'm different, if you start something with me, you'll just end up dead. That much I promise. So you could either go away or antagonise me further but die in the most painful way imaginable. What is it going to be?"
The man bowed his head, and walked away, his steps hurried to get away, as far away from Emily as possible. Because he suddenly took notice of the bloodlust cloaking her body like a second skin. The aura was so thin, it was barely noticeable, until her threat and it became slightly apparent.
He knew he had messed with the wrong person and he wanted to get away from Emily as far as possible.
"I guess the apocalypse, has injected even idiots who provoke without reason with more than two brain cells to use their common sense," Emily then sighed. "But too bad for you, there's a nagging—persistent feeling that tells me if I let you go, you're going to cause me trouble in the future, and I can't have that."
Emily turned to Fenrir, and said, "go kill him and his mutt."
In a single second Emily felt a breeze move past her then back again. And the next thing she knew, her enhanced eyes spotted the headless body of the man, blood sprayed out of it. With Fenrir by her side, as expressionless as always.
The man's body hadn't even yet fallen, and it seemed the body too hadn't yet registered the fact, the mind mind was gone. After a few seconds the body finally fell on the ground with a thud, and Emily was left awed by her summons speed that even she couldn't track.
She shook her head, grabbed Fenrir by the hand again. And continued on with her journey whilst thinking, this might have been the perfect time to have experimented with her second Symbiote, Titled: Extract.
"Oh, well.."
