Back in the flat, I had to walk up the stairs which is filled with vampires and ghould. The havest is not bad but I know there are many more still lurking in the shadows.
I have advanced in my ability and body power. Even though mybody will smell enticing, creatures still follow their instincts.
I listen on the door where our resident protagonist is staying. They all decided to stay in one room. Mostly because Mo Yue is afraid something will happen between Wei Lin and Lu Aang.
Wei Lin has a strong ice ability which seems to fit him perfectly while Mo Yue has just awakened fire ability.

I go into my flat and mix some of the herbs before making them into powder. I careful put the mixture into a container with the last ingredient before closing the lid.
As the nigh fall. I wait outside the door until someone needs to go to the bathroom. The electricity has been cut but they luckily have a singke torch. The one coming out has a torch in hand.
When the door opens, with a mask on my mouth I scoop a spoonful of the powder and throw it inside the room. The power will not work before it has thoroughly dissolved into the room.
I dust my shoulders and left the place. We are related by blood but one gets all the luck while the other gets all the hate. It's unfair. Of course I want to ruin his reputation as a sweet prince.
I entered my space and meditated for the night. The next morning I pick up all that I need from this flat I don't know when will I come back.
I picked up a set worn by an assassin toy with black leather pants, leather boots and a flexible armor said to be bulletproof. I took a knife and stabbed at my arm, not even a scratch. Just as I remember. Still unable to cushion the impact though.
This is the part I love about toys, their outfits and weapons are only limited by the creators imagination. I say it is bulletproof then it is bulletproof. I put on a mask with glasses to avoid the splash of blood.
The gleaming black armor is too eye catching so I put on a camouflage light scarf. Tying a single knot on the side and letting the rest fall on my body.
Weapons? I was careful to buy tens of boxes of ammunition and guns of all types I still have many left after giving most to the Huo brothers. I am more of a long knife kind of guy anyways.
Ghouls are very strong but they become sluggish in the sun while the vampires burn to ashes when exposed to sunlight. Walking on passageway lit up by sunlight is a best choice. However, it also means you get a full view of all the blood stains, the body parts rotting in the sun.
The place is covered in a bad smell. The water was cut off a few days ago it seems other diseases will spread around soon.
I walk with my boots that can absorb the sound to the staircase. I had chosen a floor that is high up because I need to be fit. The lack of electricity is mostly why the people will be stuck here until a month later. Because the staircase is filled with creatures.
The staircase is dark as soon as I opened the door something jumped at me with swift movements. Two daggers as long as half my arm in my hands are plunged deep into the chest of the creature.
It is not a ghoul but a low level vampire. Hissing and scratching at me with exposed fangs, long black claws and eyes that are gloomy white. The skin is deathly pale having blue veins all over it.
The annoying thing is the black drool coming out of its mouth with a strong stench making me want to puke out all that in my stomach.
It's very ugly but after passing this low level stage they can slowly have thoughts and regain control of their bodies. However many will fall during this stage in the hands of ghouls. The only way to kill ghouls is to decapitate their heads or destroy the mana core in their hearts.
Pushing it down the few stairs, I took out a long knife and swung it precisely as it jumps at me again. Thanks to the sharp blade of my knife I managed cutting off the head with one swing. I dig in the head and pulled out a single blood red crystal.
When vampires are still in this level, they have these crystals in their brains but when they advance later, the energy will slowly become evenly distributed throughout their bodies instead of gathering in their crystal nuclei.
Then the crystal will melt and intelligence will return granting them their ability to reason again.
Having condensed two mana essence my body is very light. I haven't done the routine in three days but I was still able to condense essence due to the scroll.
That swing would have left my arm numb but now it is not hard to decapitate a vampire even with just a long knife.
I managed to kill these vampires and the occasional ghoul, collected all the mana filled crystals and mana cores into my space.
The streets are empty. Vampires and ghouls can not walk on the street while the people are scared to leave their houses. The air is no longer fresh even for a city this is too stinky. It reeks of blood and rotten flesh.
The first place I went to is the auto shop down the street. The glass is broken with pieces of glasses stained with blood dry blood everywhere. I walked in careful to stick to the light.
I look around and there, a pair of blood red eyes and a low growling sound came. Over two meters tall with a hunchback and that disgusting long tongue. Seeing its size, I know it is the only one here. It lunged at me so swift I failed to see it movements.
"Fuck!" I curse and jumped to the place with plenty of sunlight. It followed me there and it's long arms reached for me but now I can clearly see it movements and follow them calmly.
It's mouth opened all the way back with rows of sharp shark like teeth ready to shred me into meat paste. The breath is actually the worst part. Making me want to wrench but I move my hand and threw two grenades in its stomach after pulling the pin.
This thing's bone density is as strong as a small car, I can not underestimate it. Luckily it didn't touch me or it would have broken my bones in one touch.
*Boom* *Boom* 'splash' The guts and the body parts of the creature separated from its body splashing the nearby cars and the windows. The smell is even worse. But its not over, the thing is not destroyed yet.
I move fast and avoiding that long tongue, pulled it to be exposed to the sun. Although it won't burn like the vampires but it will suffer. While it is struggling I plunged my dagger into the chest area and put my hand through the chest.
It is still disgusting to me but I have to look for the mana core so it will finally die. The warm innards are entangled making it hard to find that damn stone. I felt it and yanked it out. Without the mana stone it's body started to rot in the sun.
This guy was very powerful so it should have eaten and chased away any other predators in the place right? I took off my glove and put on another one.
I had come here for the cars. I found them, the fast cars, businessman cars and those for long distance travel. I went to the security cameras and destroyed them before using my power to miniaturize all the cars and their keys.
I then went to a food market knowing I may find a lot of trouble there so I went to the back were they transport goods to the warehouse into the basement. I know the place like I know the back of my hand. After being rescued I came here often to deliver goods.
There is one problem, this place will not have sunlight. I must be lucky to come across many security's bloody clothes on the way and found the keys to four of the 8 warehouses.
Clothes picked clean of meat and bones, a ghoul is near.
I have moved to the first warehouse and it has boxes of noodles, pasta, rice and flour. Even if I waste it I can eat for three life times. I took a knife and destroyed the camera in here.
Then I took away the boxes after miniaturizing them leaving the place clean. Just my luck, the next one is full of spices, oil and cooking powders and most importantly gas for the gas stoves in also here. I didn't leave anything for anyone.
The next is where they store alcohol such as wine, vodka, brandy and other non refrigerated alcohol products. The last one is guarded by a large disgusting creature. It has long arms but short legs, I really need to get in here because it has can food. Nowadays most food is canned for those busy workers who don't have time to buy fresh food everyday.
As long as I entire here, I can go home and live like a king for decades. But that thing, even from a distance it reeks of death. I am going back. There is no way I can take on such a formidable opponent on my own. But it is too late it already spotted me.
It has no eyes but seems to have sharp senses. It started climbing the wall coming my way like a spider. My heart beat like a drum at this familiar sight.
I take out my rifle and aimed. The powerful long range sniper would have exploded that head in this distance but the thing only got momentarily dazed shook it's head and continued crawling towards me.
I aimed for the body and released the trigger. This one smashed the shoulder but how can the creature care about this bit of pain. It seems to smell my fear and got even more excited.
Putting back the gun, I take out a long blade and got ready to fight. It stopped a small distance from me and released its tongue trying to pull me with it but I cut it clean off.
Awakened humans are not as powerful as the two clans but they are not sitting ducks. I make a stance but took a gamble to let it jump on me so it can take a bite of my head. As soon as it opens it's mouth wide I threw grenades inside. The way its mouth opens wide it can really pull me inside.
The place where its mouth it open to the back of its head I thrust a large sword cutting the upper head from the lower part. Rotten blood fell on my face covering my glasses and mask.
I pull away just as the grenades exploded one after another. A small ruby gem smacked on my chest before falling on the ground. The entire place is covered in blood and meaty bits from the ghoul including my entire body.
I opened the warehouse and destroyed the camera before taking away the food. This situation just reminded me I need soap and other washing materials.
The noise will draw other unwanted attention so I went straight to warehouse 7 and blew it open before aiming at the camera. Because I am going to have an entire down town population to care for, I end up emptying the whole place.
Cleaning the house, bleach, toilet and king soap and brushes. Dish washing, clothes detergents.
Forcefully opening 5, I took many boxes of expensive cigarettes, lighters, lubricants, condoms, all the medications sold in the counter. The snacks and sweets including chocolate.
These warehouses are not small. It is luck that I have a miniaturizing ability. There is the cold storage for frozen food. With the electricity backup running out soon, it will all be rotten a month later when the Lu family takes a hold of the place.
There are two ghouls here both seemingly sniffing the air for my exact position. I am covered in ghoul guts so it may be harder to get it. I don't want to waste time one has frozen meat, the other has regular cold storage with things like cheese and yogurt. The last one has cold room for the liquor store inside the supermarket.
The first to find me are the long tongues and I cut them to pieces. I threw a dagger into the chest of one and stabbed the last one in fast movement. "I feel so cool."
I ended up cleaning the entire place. I even took away the utensils, pots and the toys. All the warehouses were emptied by me alone. This should pinch the Lu family a little. They have other places but they will still feel the sting.
Making my way back was easier than I had thought. I went to a to a toy shop next.
A toy stove can be turned into a cooking stove if I feed it mana core. But I can also use gas and electricity. Mana is magic and my abilities are broken because I can do these things without any spells.
The first thing I did in the shop is to change my outfit this time wearing a hat instead of a mask. Inside the toy shop I took down the security cameras and went to the storage warehouse without touching the things in the front store.
I will sort them out when I get back. For now just put everything away. This is the biggest toy shop in the city and their warehouse is massive. Previously I had miniaturized the stock I put in my space but now I put these the may there are and they immediately took a lot of the space.
I went to the medical herbs shop and took the stuff in the warehouse after fighting off a few vampires. The ghouls before made these guys look particularly low level.
I have so many formulas in my head it will be a waste if I don't use them.
The next stop is the gas station. It could be dangerous so I put on my combat outfits again.
