"She asked you to let go, right? Don't you think you should listen to your friend here and do as asked? You are being quite rude to her, you know?"
The terminator spoke clenched, but Zayne did not have any of it.
His voice was low and angry when he spoke, but Zayne's words warned the terminator to stay back and mind his business.
"Helios Legios, stay in your lane if you know what is good for you. I do not want to kill you off at the moment."
The familiar name made Camelia jolt, but she pretended she had not noticed.
Not that she was able to hide it much from Zayne. His sharp eyes noticed everything, and his expression became even worse.
There was no way for Camelia ever to lie her way out now.
"Hey, I am in my lane! It is not my fault that you are treating your companion as if she is a burden! If you can't treat her right, she should leave you, right, miss?"
