"I've heard about you from Shanks before."
"Shanks!? Do you know Shanks the Red!?"
Usopp was extremely surprised.
"Well, he's the one who gave me this straw hat."
Luffy took off his straw hat, tossed it lightly in his hand and smiled. "Your father is Yasopp, right? He always tells me he has a son around my age."
Upon hearing Luffy mention his father, Usopp became excited.
"Yasopp is actually my father's name! So my father now..."
"Yasopp is a real pirate now. I can tell you about your father later."
Saying this, Luffy put his straw hat back on and gave orders to the sailors: "There is a very dangerous pirate hiding in this village. We need to deal with him first. Follow me the good ones!"
"Yes, Captain Luffy."
Immediately, Luffy took Nami, Zoro and fifty sailors towards Syrup Village.
On the cliff, Usopp gritted his teeth and immediately followed.
"I just overheard your conversation. Are you going to find Miss Kaya? Was she targeted by pirates?!"
"Of course, this pirate is a cunning man."
"I'll show you the way!" Usopp said hurriedly.
Luffy looked at him and laughed. "Then please lead the way."
But deep down he wanted to complain.
If he had transmigrated into Usopp's body, Kaya would already have a son. It would have been so easy to win over a sick and kind young woman like her.
Soon the group entered the village.
This immediately caused a commotion.
Many residents who were preparing to work in the fields early in the morning were shocked to see them.
"Navy!"
"Huh? Usopp is here too... What's going on!?"
"They're heading towards Ms. Kaya's mansion!"
As the only rich family in the village, the house where Miss. Kaya lived could be seen from afar.
The group arrived in front of the main gate of the mansion, which was tightly closed.
Seeing this, Luffy gave a decisive order.
"Seal this house."
"Yes!"
The lieutenant nodded, waved his hand and immediately directed the others.
The sailors divided into four teams and quickly surrounded the entire mansion, blocking all entrances and exits.
Usopp asked nervously, "Wait, are you sure the pirate you're looking for is really here? There's only Miss Kaya and a few servants in this house."
"Be still and watch."
Luffy couldn't help but smile and signaled with his eyes again.
The lieutenant received the instruction and immediately went forward to knock on the door.
"Excuse me, is anyone there?"
Knock, knock, knock!
After a moment, the mansion's door finally opened, and a man wearing butler attire poked his head out.
He looked like a sheep.
His hair was white and he had a pair of small curved horns on both sides of his head.
"Erm... Navy?" The man was taken aback for a moment and quickly asked, "I'm Merry. Is there anything I can help you with?"
"Please gather everyone in this mansion into the hall immediately! We suspect that there is a dangerous pirate hiding here!" The captain said sternly, "Now, please open the door!"
"Yes yes."
Facing Marine, the butler could only open the gate completely and let everyone in.
After that, chaos ensued.
After more than ten minutes, everyone in the mansion was gathered in the hall.
There were security guards in black suits, maids responsible for the laundry and kitchen, several butlers, and a young woman in a wheelchair wearing a light yellow dress.
Behind the girl was a man with hair so styled it looked like a cow had licked it.
His expression was somewhat hostile, and he stood up in front of the sailors in the hall to express his anger.
"What exactly is going on? Miss Kaya is very weak because of all of you..."
"Klahador!"
The girl in the wheelchair interrupted gently, shaking her head with a smile. "You can't be so rude to the guests. And I'm fine."
"But, miss..."
The butler finally snorted, "There are no pirates here!"
"We will investigate whether there are pirates or not, so rest assured."
The lieutenant reassured calmly, then turned and bowed to Luffy and the others. "Reporting to Lord Luffy, all the people in the mansion have gathered."
"OK."
Luffy nodded, sat down on the sofa, crossed his legs and lightly tossed his straw hat in his hand.
The straw hat rose and fell in the air, as if it were the heartbeat of everyone in the mansion.
Everyone felt a little uncomfortable.
"Haha, don't be nervous, we're just here to capture a pirate, this has nothing to do with the rest of you."
Luffy smiled, his gaze roamed everyone, finally stopping on Miss. Kaya.
She truly lived up to her status as a young woman from a wealthy family, with a good temperament and exceptional appearance.
However, she had been sickly since childhood, and her pale skin looked somewhat sickly.
"I'm Luffy, Monkey D. Garp is my grandfather. I'll ask you a few simple questions, then tell you a story, and everything will be over."
Upon hearing this, everyone was surprised.
Monkey D. Garp? Vice Admiral of the Navy Headquarters!
"Mr. Luffy, you may ask." Miss. Kaya spoke gently.
"Miss Kaya, when did your parents pass away?"
"My parents...? They passed away a year ago due to illness."
"The butler behind you. When did he appear?"
Luffy's gaze fell on the girl's butler.
Klahador's expression changed slightly, and he immediately spoke discontentedly, "What do you mean? Are you suspecting me? Do you have any evidence?"
"That's impossible, Klahador isn't the pirate you're looking for."
Kaya hurriedly shook her head.
"I'm just asking casually." Luffy said with a smile.
Before coming to this island, all he wanted was a ship.
But now, he had changed his mind. This sickly young girl looked a little pitiful. In return, he would take her to the Grand Line for treatment.
As a good pirate, returning kindness was his most outstanding virtue.
"Let's answer my question."
"It was..." Kaya remembered and said softly, "It was three years ago. At that time, he was thrown from a ship and passed out in front of my house. My parents took him in, and since then, Klahador has taken care of me wholeheartedly. He's a good person."
"Okay, I understand. Thank you for the information, Miss Kaya."
Luffy nodded, raised his hand and pointed, giving a weak order.
"Capture him!"
