"How foolish of you two. You seem to forget who this individual actually is."
The voice of disappointment was owned by Haru, who had been quiet all this while. He added, "Forgive me , Lord Finn. Give us a bit, I have to speak to these two." This two ladies have gone too far, he believed he had to intervene.
'Ehhh! What's up with this guy?'
Finn didn't expect this development. Like Haru had said, after a bit of silence, a change appeared in the hall.
The barrier's surface swirled as a figure came out of it. It was a spirit body of a male human, but the body was clearly weak as it was too translucent with the body features barely evident.
"Haru?" Finn asked.
"You are correct," Haru said, bowing slightly. "Only I can appear beyond the barrier because I've recovered the most strength."
"I see," Finn nodded. "Is there a reason why you're being... polite to me?"
A weak smile appeared on Haru's face.
"Those two seem to think they're still in the past where they held a high standing in the world. Over the years, we've realized that God's actual purpose of sealing us here was to provide us an opportunity for us to survive the Fall of Gods."
Finn understood, scratching his head once more, "You're saying you would have died during those times?"
"Yes. We owe our life to God, and it's only through you we can revive him." Haru knelt down on one knee as he requested, "Please, help us break this barrier. Please, help us revive God."
'Well, I plan on trying my best to do so. He helped me too after all...' Before coming to a conclusion, Finn asked , "How much do you think this will affect my private affairs?"
Haru took a moment to think, then replied honestly, "I don't know. But if I were to guess, I'd say you'll naturally gain knowledge on how to break the seal and how to obtain vessels for us.
"It's like how you naturally getting stronger brought you to this point in the first place."
'I think so too. No one seems to be in a hurry so let's just do this gradually!'
"Alright! Let's do this." Finn accepted their request, causing Haru in his spirit body to sigh in relief.
"See Lily, we made things so complex for no reason. A chance to leave here has appeared!" Cora laughed with a joy-packed tone.
"You're right," Lily responded. "Thank you... Lord Finn."
Finn cleared his throat to draw their attention. "If I manage to break the seal of this barrier and the one concealing this whole land. What'll happen to this place?"
Lily answered, "It's very likely to appear in the real world."
Having an idea, Finn asked, "Eh... Can I have authority over this place if it happens?"
Silence enveloped the hall as the three sealed individuals contemplated for a bit.
Then, Haru's spirit body suddenly stood upright and replied, "This land wasn't ours in the first place. It's only proper for you, who found it and is also likely to unseal it, to have authority."
"Thank you!" Finn beamed with pleasure, believing he had a possible place to serve as a home. With that aside, he asked, "Do you have an idea on how I'll break the seal?"
Lily, the most knowledgeable in this field, replied, "This seal needs something that'll serve as a key to 'unlock' it. It will definitely be something relating to this God.
"Just look for items that relate to him and you'll find a path forward. The hard path is that this God's enemies will avoid him leaving anything relating to him in this world."
"Ah... Sounds tough." Finn sighed.
To motivate him, Cora said, "Heh, Finn, don't fret. This individual wouldn't make things too hard. That's how he is after all!"
"Thanks, guys." Finn said, feeling Cora may be right. "Lastly, are there any items in this castle that might be of help to me?"
With a nod, Haru explained.
"There should be something in the treasury. After we were sealed, the people who were tasked to take care of this castle moved all the important items into here before leaving this region. I believe God instructed him to do so, this may be one of the preparations he left for you."
'This guy is really helping me... He prepared ancient items for me, and with how these fellas are describing him, he doesn't sound like a bad guy! If I revive him, we might make good pals!'
Finn, who sought ways to enjoy life, couldn't help but muse inwardly.
Seeing Finn wasn't replying, Haru added, "We would have loved to personally provide you with some things now, we're not able to do much beyond the barrier. Talking to you like this is a bit strenuous. My apologies."
"No, no! It's alright, the information you guys I've provided me is already sufficient." Finn felt like he had given the impression that he was discontented so he hurriedly corrected.
"I'll lead you to the treasury, that's where the items are kept."
Haru in a featureless humanoid-shaped spirit body led Finn out of the hall through one of the passageways.
As Finn followed him, he let himself wander in thoughts regarding his conversation with these sealed individuals.
'They are not so shocked by the fact that I'm from Earth, world traversal isn't an unusual thing to them. My case should still be extraordinary though.
'They are former followers of gods, but due to circumstances they were sealed... Will I be able to get information regarding them when I come in contact with civilization? I'm not sure of their true motives, I don't want to unleash uncontrolled danger on the world.
'They way they talk about the being that sealed them is like one with a positive inclination. If I can find information of these sealed ones, a god's information should still be available. Provided that the God within me isn't dangerous, I won't have much problem freeing them.
'The task doesn't seem to restrict me much, I'll just create a plan going forward while doing it at my own pace. I'll get stronger and make sure nothing restricts me!
'My goal in this life is the same in every world–To enjoy life to the fullest!'
Just then, he heard Haru's voice.
"We're here."
