Mr. Jones and Mrs. Jones laughed when they saw the two siblings quarreled with each other. Mrs. Jones looked at Riya and said, "Don't mind them. This happens every single time."
"Yes, Auntie." Riya smiled in response.
She would not mind this. After all, Amelia had quarreled a lot in the past with their other friends too.
"Alright, alright, let's stop and finish the meal." Mr. Jones looked at the two children and said authoritatively.
"Yes, Father."
The two children immediately stayed quiet. They knew better than anyone that they should never challenge their father's majesty unless they wanted to ask for a beating.
Everyone quickly finished their meal and Riya bid her farewell to everyone.
"Are you not going to stay here?" Mrs. Jones asked, feeling a bit of pity. She knew how good the relationship between Riya and Amelia were and would be worried if Riya stayed outside.
