The Temple, The Priestesses and The Seer.
Ever since the supernatural world can remember there had always been The Temple where their respective gods and goddesses had used as a communication portal. The Temple had keepers or rather call them Priestesses which were Witches who used their magic to keep the Temple so that the communication can flow and be smooth. The Seer was an Oracle who saw visions and got messages that needed to be delivered to certain people and then lastly was the Dandelion Witch. The Dandelion Witch was different, her magic was pure and a gift from the goddesses Hecate herself, her magic was the one that actually kept the temple also kept the other Priestesses healthy and strong to do their jobs. The Dandelion witch was the High Priestess and her magic was a need but then nineteen years ago she dissappeared and nobody knew where she was, the remaining Priestesses were forced to use their weak magic to keep the Temple afloat thus resulting in them aging faster than they should.
Dean was now the Dandelion Witch and they needed his magic but in order to use that magic they needed The Usque In Aeternum- this was the Evermore Book. The Usque In Aeternum was compiled by the first Dandelion Witch way back in history and that book has been passed down to each Dandelion Witch. But when Mary who was the Dandelion Witch before Dean and also happens to be Deans biological mother dissappeared nineteen years ago she dissappeared with the book and they haven't been able to find neither. The Seer was shown that Mary had died but the location of her body or The Usque In Aeternum she didn't see, she didn't even get a clue-that was beyond her abilities. The Seer explained to Dean that since they found him they can't just leave because the Priestesses were dying sooner than they should due to using their magic excessively. Dean didn't want to leave his current life they told him that it was possible for him to give up his magic, all they needed was The Usque In Aeternum and his blood then everything will be fine.
Dean agreed to give it up in the next full moon but he really didn't know where the book was, The Seer explained that all they had to do was make him communicate with his mother and since he was the direct descendant it won't be that hard. Without hesitation Dean agreed to everything but what he didn't understand was one thing- why did he need a Guardian? The Seer wanted to answer Dean but she thought it would be best that Mary explained the situation herself.
"I don't think I trust this." Cassian had been listening and he was okay with the explanations and all but when they suddenly want to put him in a trance it didn't feel right.
"Momo..." that's all Luca could say after all Dean didn't remember them.
"Wait why did I lose my memories?" He asked them. "Because you were blooming. You will eventually get them back." Dean looked at her sideways.
"Blooming like a flower?" One of the Priestess nodded her head.
"We don't know why either but that's how Dandelion witches are reborn." Dean nodded in realization.
"Cool let's do this." Cassian was worried that Dean wasn't being as careful as he should be, King Asher was bored and angry at the same time- how did they end up raising a witch right at his pack? But as he looked at Dean he melted and allowed them to do whatever it is they needed to do. The throne room was pretty much a big empty room with just the Throne in it. So right in the middle of the room they drew a pentagram and outlined it with Dandelions. Dean sat right in the middle of the pentagram and spilled some blood and did whatever chant he was told to do, within seconds he was in a trance.
"Another Dean drama?" Enzo walked in and they all looked at him like he was insensitive.
"What? This guy has more drama than The Kardashians." He shrugged.
"Where have you been?" King Asher asked him.
"Out on a date with my mate." He asnwered without fear. Yes. Enzo had a mate and it happened during the mate drama between Dean, Kylo and Cassian. Ill tell you about it next time.
"We haven't had time to ourselves ever since the whole mate and Dean thing." Kylo looked at him and growled, he was already pissed by what was happening. "You can growl all you want but your boyfriend has given us more headache than when we found out he was just a human." Kylo wanted to strangle Enzo but he didn't want to leave Dean's side.
"Anyway what's he doing now?" He asked finding himself a seat right on the floor but nobody answered him so he sat down and watched.
Dean fell into a hallow darkness and landed on a hard surface that he couldn't see. "Ouch!" He exclaimed in pain as he landed. He stood up and looked around but it was void. "Mary!!" He yelled and he expected an echo but there was none. "Haliurunas..." a voice whispered but he didn't flinch or look for the direction that the voice might have come from. "Look at me Haliurunas" The voice instructed and he turned around and found a woman with a clawed face and a scratched body. She looked hauled and she was bloodied and disfigured, her long summer dress adorned by flowers was ripped and dressed in blood "You don't look so well." He commented and the woman smiled, although her face was barely recognizable you could tell she was smiling. "What brings you here?" She asked.
"I'm here for a Mary." He asnwered. "So you're still blooming I see." The woman approached "That's what they said."
"You don't look scared." Her voice was soft "By what?"
"Me." She sighed. "Well you do look scary but I have a feeling you didn't do that to yourself." The woman nodded. "So who have you been calling?" Dean sat back on the suspiciously existing surface.
"You silly." She chuckled.
"I might have lost my memories but I was told my name is Dean not what you just called me." He looked up at her.
"Originally your name was Haliurunas, I should have left a nametag with you." She sat next to him "So you're Mary?" She nodded "Im here for the Usque In Aeternum." He said.
"I knew that's why they sent here, I died and they didn't bother looking for me instead they looked for that Book." She smiled a sad smile.
"I will tell you where it is since it's your birthright but you can never give it to them." Her voice was stern and Dean understood what she was saying "but I want a normal life." He told her.
"I know." She sighed "but you won't have much of a life if they get their hands on that book let alone your magic."
"I'm going to die if I do give up my magic right?" She nodded.
"Your magic is your life force- I guess they didn't mention that. Once you give it up you will age faster and eventually die but you will still be stuck with the curse and no gurdian." Mary was grateful for such an experience, they were calm and looking into the void as if they were looking at the night sky with stars shining "So what's the curse and why do I need a Guardian?" Mary laid down for bit and there was silence between them, after a few minutes she sat up again and sighed "I once fell in love with a married man and he fell in love with me too, he had kids and one crazy wife." She chuckled as she remembered that.
"The crazy wife found out about our affair and she went beserk."
She paused and looked at Dean, "I know I look appalling right now but us Dandelion witches, we are blessed with beauty beyond imagination by our goddess Hecate and maybe that's why Isiah fell in love with me but eventually it became more than that." Dean raised his eyebrows in curiosity.
" Ohh don't worry after you have bloomed your beauty will be unable to resist to any man and that is the curse." Her face looked sad and Dean wondered how he could see beyond those claw marks on her face.
"So our curse is being irresistibly beautiful?" He was confused.
"No. Our curse came because we're beautiful." She took another pause.
"After Isiahs wife went beserk she tried to kill me but he wouldn't let her and I guess that's what broke her eventually. I can't imagine what's it's like to see the love of your life protecting his mistress from you." Mary hugged herself.
"She peacefully went home but the following day was the full moon and she conjured up all her strength and cursed me- she could have taken away my beauty but she knew Isiah wouldn't stop loving me so she enhanced my beauty and cursed me making every man who meets me fall in love with me and want to sleep with me when they have slept with me all they will see is an ugly beast and they will then cast me out." She looked at Dean and he was attentively listening and there was no sign of judgment on his face.
"I told her I would say no to those men but she said they wouldn't be able to control themselves.... eventually I will get r***d and be a used up piece of s**t. She died of a broken heart within a week after placing that curse on me, and also because she had used up all her magic to place that curse on me." Dean laughed.
"What else broke her heart besides the fact that she found you with her husband?" Mary sighed then she smiled.
"Isiah continued to protect me. After he found out about the curse he also died using his magic to get a Guardian for me, one who will lay his life protecting me from the curse. He said that's the only way he knew how to take responsibility." Dean nodded.
"So that's what will happen to me eventually?" Mary nodded.
"Immediately after your blooming period you will become irresistibly beautiful and all the men will throw themselves on you. I hope your Guardian is stronger than mine." Dean stood up.
"That was a harsh punishment considering she cursed your entire bloodline." She held her hand out and Dean helped her up.
"That's because she was also my best friend and I was the godmother to her kids." She was waiting for Dean's reaction but he looked disinterested in judging her.
"So I'm guessing Isiah is my father.?"
"Ohh god no! Your father is a different person but he was also an affair-I guess I had a habit of wrecking homes." She chuckled to hide her shame.
"He was a handsome Alpha who also fell for my beauty, I don't know why but I allowed him to sleep with me even though I knew it was him reacting to the curse." She shook her head and you could tell she was reminiscing.
"I fell pregnant and went into hiding because his wife found out about us, I gave birth to you and your brother then his wife chased me down and did this to me then killed me." Dean thought maybe what he heard was because his ears had went bad.
"Did you say I have a brother?" He asked and Mary nodded.
"Then where is he?" He was getting upset.
"He's with your father." Mary answered and her attitude had changed, she wasn't shameless anymore it was like her guilt was surfacing.
"You have to find your brother Haliurunas." She took his hands into hers.
"How the hell am I supposed to find someone I have never met?" Dean asked.
"His name is Lycidias, you and him are basically connected-he's a half of you and you're a half of him." She looked troubled.
"Your magic may carry you but you two need each other to survive, so find Lycidias and reconcile with him."
There was a disturbance in the throne room while Dean was in a trance, his Dandelion carvings started bleeding.
"He's bleeding wake him up!" Kylo screamed at one of Priestesses.
"We can't!" The Priestesses exclaimed in panic.
"So you sent him there without a plan should anything go wrong!?" It didn't even take him that long he was already enraged he walked to the pentagram and tried to enter but he couldn't.
"Why can't I get through!?" He asked the Seer "Because this doesn't count as danger since he is with his mother." The Seer replied.
"Looks like he's done blooming and now his body wants to remember but his spirit is stuck there without his memories." Kylo growled in anger threatening the Seer and she was scared after all the new Oracle had been chosen and was undergoing her training so even if she died now it wouldn't cause calamity.
"Don't worry he will be fine, his mother will recognize that he is in danger and wil send him back." Azriel lost it and held The Seer by her weak, thin throat.
"You are talking about the same woman that left him in the middle of the woods during a war!?" He was angry, he was seeing red, he was beyond annoyed with this old hag calling that woman Dean's mother- Dean had only one mother and that was Moira Nyko. One of the Priestess used her magic and effortlessly flicked Azriel away from the Seer.
"Hey!!" Hunter exclaimed threatening the Priestess and the Priestess didn't even flinch. Azriel stood up and growled.
"Touch her again and Dean will return to find you dead." The Priestess made that promise with a straight face.
"You need to leave now!" Marry exclaimed "I'd rather die than live with your curse." Dean answered and Mary knew that was the response he was going to give but she didn't have time to explain everything so she held Dean's head and started chanting. After a good five minutes of her doing her chant.
"Momma loves you Haliurunas. Don't you ever forget that." She then placed a kiss on his forehead then pushed him out of the void.
