First Wave and Wavering Decisions.
Dean's spirit reconnected with his body and the a great air hit the throne room blowing those near the pentagram back.
"Momo...!!" Kai who clawed to the floor scratching King Asher's expensive marble tiles called for Dean. Dean tried to move his body but everything was screaming in pain and he tried to respond to Kai but all he could get out of his mouth was a weird sound. "kkkkkaakkkkkk....kkkkk....aakkakkk." That was all they heard. Cassian ran to him and he found Dean laying down paralyzed in a star like position, he didn't even dare to breath nor blink.
"Are you okay!?" Kylo slid in right beside Cassian. "It's me Pope!" Kylo exclaimed and Cassian looked at him like he was crazy.
"He's not lost, he's just in incredible pain." Kylo looked at him with an attitude too and poked his tongue out.
"I'm going to pick you up now." Cassian warned Dean then went to pick him up but as soon as he put his hands underneath Dean.
"Ahhhhhhh!!" Dean exclaimed, Cassian immediately let him go.
"Let him be, he will be okay in a minute or two." The Seer chimed in, Cassian looked at her with threatening eyes holding back a growl. The Seer smiled and approached Dean but Kai sped up and stood in her way. The Priestess flicked Kai out of the way with her magic and when Kai hit the floor with his back exclaiming in pain Dean suddenly stood up with his body still weak and he didn't know where or how but he broke the Priestess's hand, the same hand she used to flick Kai "Ouch!!" The Priestess cried out in pain as her bones were cracking.
"Touch him again and you might just lose your life." Dean threatened out of breath, then he used Cassian to balance himself.
"I see your memories are back." The Seer commented "Okay put me down gently." Dean instructed Cassian totally ignoring the old hag, Cassian slowly laid him back down on the floor and Dean slowly closed his eyes taking steady breaths.
"I think we should take him to the hospital." Azriel made a suggestion.
"That would be great." The Seer answered him.
"You should see a doctor too." She was referring to the Priestess with a broken arm. Cassian felt heartbroken picking him up, it was like he is experiencing the pain himself but Dean didn't even open his eyes, he was too tired and his body was weak and in pain he wondered why they didn't warn him that he would feel like sh*t when he came back. He was taken to the hospital and Cassian suggested they give him something that would help him feel numb and relaxed and the doctors followed the instructions.
King Asher summoned everybody back to the throne room except the Seer and her Priestesses, he needed to have a serious talk with them. Cassian and the Nyko brothers were reluctant to leave Dean alone in the hospital but they were all summoned so the King had spoken and they needed to obey. In the throne room King Asher sat and looked at each and every one of them.
"Azriel." He called and Azriel bowed his head to show that he was ready to hear what the King had to say. "The boy is a witch and not just any witch at that but a High Priest as they put it." Azriel looked at the King blankly but then he suddenly remembered what King Asher was talking about.
"But my King we had no idea." Azriel tried to defend Dean, King Asher nodded in agreement with him.
"I know that, we all know that but it doesn't erase the fact that he is." King Asher really felt sad for Azriel and the Nyko brothers because he knew how much they loved Dean.
"But my King...." Azriel didn't have much words to say except those, his mind was completely blank.
"What is wrong dad?" Luca asked, "What are you guys on about?" Azriel looked at his son and sighed, it was times like these he needed Moira and Lydia maybe they would have words to convince King Asher to let Dean stay.
"So what are you planning to do with him?" Azriel asked.
"Well he can leave with the people who came to seek him." King Asher responded and Azriel's heart felt constricted.
"Whoah leave....? What are you guys saying?" Kai asked the both of them.
"Dean is not going anywhere.!" Kylo suddenly exclaimed with a challenging tone and his father looked at him like he had just grown two heads.
"What did you just say boy?" King Asher hated to be disrespected especially in front of guests and when he is sitting on his throne.
"I.Said.Dean.Is-" Cassian slid behind him and covered his mouth with his hand.
"I'm sorry King, he just lost his mind." Cassian smiled awkwardly.
"Let me go.!" Kylo exclaimed after biting Cassian's hand and elbowing him on the side of his stomach hard enough to make Cassian let go of him.
"My King can't you reconsider this decision?" Hunter dropped on his knee bowing his head to show his humbleness and respect.
"After all he is our family and we very much still care for him." Hunter added. Luca, Apollo, Kai, Cassian, and Azriel follwed Hunter and too took a knee. King Asher relaxed in his throne and looked at them, Cassian looked at Kylo with a hard stare then Kylo reluctantly went on his knee. They all looked at Enzo who had been standing there the whole time bored out of his wits.
"Ohh I'm irrelevant in this situation, can't I just leave?" He asked them and they all looked at him disapprovingly, he sighed and rolled his eyes then went on his knee. King Asher thought about it but no matter what he just couldn't say yes to Dean staying.
"I have made my decision, He can't stay." King Asher's voice delivered the message that his decision was final. Cassian stood up and took a deep breath.
"I understand your decision my King and I hope you respect mine too." King Asher looked at him in a questioning way.
"Wherever Dean goes that is where I'm going too." Cassian spoke in a serious voice.
"Me too." Kylo stood up and added "No you're not." Cassian scolded him.
"Shut up!" Kylo stood up to his big brother.
"Leave him alone! He is my responsibility and my mate!" Cassian's words came across as he wanted them to which was in a possessive way.
"Ohh please... He doesn't even remember you plus has he even said that he was your mate? I'm his Custos." Kylo answered full of pride knowing very well he had hurt his brother. Cassian felt the disrespect so he growled in his brothers face and Kylo growled right back at him. Cassian was getting upset with every bone and muscle in his body so he extended his claws and so did Kylo and just as they were about to attack ecah other King Asher released a massive, majestic growl that warned them to stop immediately. They stopped but they were still staring at each other promising one another death.
"So you both are abandoning your pack for a witch?" King Asher wanted them to feel guilty but Kylo said "I'm his Guardian and I might not understand what that means but I know it means I can't leave his side." He stood there with a stern voice.
"So what about the throne then?" King Asher asked.
"I had already given it to Kylo so ask him that." Cassian thought that was a weak way to make him feel guilty.
"Enzo can keep the throne after all you have three sons." Kylo responded.
"I can't abandon my mate no matter what he is." Kylo proudly answered and Cassian rumbled but Kylo ignored him. King Asher saw that his sons were useless so he turned to the Nyko family.
"What about you guys?" He asked them and Luca simply answered.
"We won't ever abandon the Pack but We won't abandon our brother too." The rest of the Nyko family nodded their heads in agreement with Luca. King Asher took a deep breath and was about to say something but Kylo interrupted him and said.
"Dean is awake!" He suddenly exclaimed and everyone looked ready to go. King Asher stood up and said.
"Let's go and I'll be the one to tell him the bad news." He led the way and they all followed him.
Dean was tired and hungry so he asked one of the nurses to get him food from the cafeteria and normaly they would just tell patients to go get it for himself but since he was brought here by both Kylo and Cassian they just knew he was VIP and they wouldn't mess with him. They got him some mixed berries, a yogurt, two sandwiches and a fruit juice. He asked for two more sandwiches and a yogurt and they gave it to him. King Asher walked in on him focused on his meal munching it down without mercy, he walked in and folded his arms then watched Dean being oblivious to what was happening around him. Luca cleared his throat then said.
"Momo..." in a soft voice, Dean raised his head with a stuffed mouth, a lettuce hanging out of his closed mouth and he blinked slowly then stared at everyone. King Asher thought his eyes were decieving him but after he lightly rubbed them and looked again it was confirmed that he had never met such a beautiful man in his life, he was drop dead gorgeous even when his mouth was full of food and his lips and cheeks were covered with sauce. Dean stared at everyone and chewed slowly but to every guy in that hospital room they were staring at his unimaginable beauty, their jaws had dropped and they were practically drooling over him. Dean swallowed and King Asher said.
"Wow..." his eyes had stars in them.
"What?" Dean asked and King Asher said.
"I don't think he should leave anymore." He said it so slowly without even blinking and everyone agreed with him.
"Whats going on with you guys?" Dean asked feeling uneasy and without even thinking about it Kai said "You're so beautiful." He blushed and then it hit Dean immediately that he was done blooming which means his cursee was active. He didn't know what to do after all he hadn't even explained it to them.
"Okay guys I need you to listen to me." They all nodded and he saw that they weren't listening so he looked at Kylo and said.
"I know this is unconventional but I need you to hurt them just a little bit." Kylo didn't even ask questions he started slapping each and every one of them and they each exclaimed with pain. He enjoyed slapping his brother way too much. "Ouch!"
Dean released a deep breath.
"Ohh that was close." He told them with relief in his voice.
"Momo what was that?" Hunter asked feeling a lot disgusted by himself and they all shook a little with disgust in themselves.
"That was the first wave of my curse." He said and they blankly looked at him, he sighed and started explaining the curse to them. After a few minutes of explaining they all looked at him and blinked.
"So....?" Apollo didn't even know what to ask as he wrecked his brain.
"That's ridiculous I'm your father there is no way I would find you attractive." Azriel scoffed and Dean gave him a bored look.
"You're my step father so you are very much affected." Dean answered him trying not to sound so rude or ungrateful to Azriel and his brothers for raising him.
"So anybody who is not related to you by blood is affected?" Cassian asked and Dean nodded "Plus you." He added. This was going to be a headache.
"Well I have decided, You're still not going anywhere, you would be unsafe without the pack." King Asher cleared his throat and refused to look at Dean or anybody else, he was full of shame after all.
"So what did Mary say?" The Seer walked in uninvited and Dean looked at him with anger in his eyes.
"Ahh looks like she told you about your biological father and all." She smiled in a sinister way and Dean remembered that he had a brother.
"I need to call Phoenix." He told Cassian and Cassian's face changed and you could tell he was upset.
"Also tell him to come with his father." Dean continued despite the disapproving looks he got from everyone "We can't summon an Alpha and his son without reason." Azriel told him.
"Tell them it's important." He answered.
"What exactly do you want from them?" Kylo asked him.
"Yeah you're right." Dean sighed, hearing him say that Cassian and Kylo smiled.
"I need to talk to my family first so I need everyone to leave." They looked at him.
"While I'm at it please call Phoenix and tell him and his father to be here tomorrow." Dean instructed Cassian and although he wanted to say no with all his being he found himself nodding and then he dragged everybody out leaving the Nyko family.
"What's wrong Momo.?" Luca asked.
"Please don't tell us that little wolf is your mate." Kai pleaded he really didn't like Phoenix. Dean bowed his head and apologized first with tears filling up in his eyes and they didn't know what to do so they waited for him. He has always been the emotional one followed by Kai and Apollo. He apologized again wiping his tears and then he started telling them what Mary had said. After telling them that Phoenix was his twin and Bruno was his father Azriel stared at him for a very long time without saying a word but his left eye was twitching "I'm going to kill him." Azriel didn't waiver or stammer as he made a promise to kill Bruno and nobody said anything about anything anymore. Their hearts were heavy including Dean's and all he wanted now was to go back to sleep. King Asher and his sons heard the whole thing with their Lycan hearing, Cassian didn't want to be but his heart was jumping with joy after hearing such news and Kylo couldn't stop grinning from ear to ear. Now it was between the Oldest and the Youngest Asher brother. The Seer tried to speak with Dean but Kylo stopped her from entering the room.
"He is resting now, Please return to your room." Kylo was so satisfied with saying that to her face, he looked at Cassian too telling him to scram with his eyes but Cassian sat on the bench right next to him.
Dean woke up in the middle of the night with disturbing pictures of Mary dying, he didn't understand where they came from then he remembered that weird chant that Mary did before throwing him out painfully out of the Void. Dean was seeing pictures of his birth and that of Phoenix and his head was hurting. He held his head as the pictures and the memories rushed and flowed in his head forcefully, he squeezed his head and shut his eyes trying to ease the pain but it didn't work and this was now his burden to bear. He saw Mary carrying one of them and running on foot and then it changed then Mary was in some woods still carrying one of them again and he realised it was him because Mary abandoned him in the woods but what was worse was that he could also feel Mary's fear and worry, regret and guilt, then the picture changed and a white big wolf was standing in front of Mary growling, it looked furious with murder in it's eyes-it suddenly jumped onto Mary and scratched her face, when the blood came spewing out of her face Dean opened his eyes and he fought for air when he realized he wasn't breathing at all. He was busy pulling on his clothes trying to remove them from himself and trying to open up his throat so he can breathe. His eyes were bulging out and he was sweating he wanted to scream but he couldn't. Far away at the Blood Moon Pack in Phoenix's room, he was having the same dream but his was blank, he couldn't see anything all he could do was feel it and he was having the same reaction as Dean. He wanted to open his eyes but he couldn't it was like he was in a sleep paralysis but this one was painful. Lycidias helped him out and Phoenix finally woke up and caught his breath. He calmed down and back at the Crescent Moon Pack Dean finally calmed down too.
