Excitement and trepidation swirl within me as I confirm the unthinkable: Erebus is an extra-terrestrials device. Working with something from another world is a dream come true.
Unravelling the Mystery
I've spent years studying the unknown, and now I've stumbled upon the most significant discovery in human history. The implications are staggering.
I can acquire unparalleled knowledge, I'll uncover secrets beyond human understanding, pushing the boundaries of science and technology and who knows perhaps I could get a noble price for my research.
And i can finally be part of the most pivotal moment in human history, one that will redefine our place in the universe.
Despite my excitement, questions linger and my concerns are peaked
_Why now? Why reveal themselves after millennia of silence? What prompted this contact?
Why Earth? What makes our planet special? Is it our technological advancements or something more?
What's their intention? Friendship or conquest? Do they seek cooperation or domination?_
And to the sci-fi movies I've watched and the novels have read, the strong always prey on the weak , it has been the law of the nature, for them to have a technology as advanced as this they are definitely not here for peace treaty or to be good friends with us
I can only hope for the best for now_

Ensure humanity's safety: Mitigate potential threats, safeguard our future.
Although has I go through this am wary of the risk and consequences it brings
So I tread with more caution because there a lot of risks that follows like
Unpredictable consequences for tampering with forces beyond our control.
Global upheaval like the Societal, economic, and political implications.
Potential threats for the Unknown dangers lurking in the shadows.
Despite the risks, I'm convinced that,

I can barely comprehend what's happening.
So as I was continuing experiment 34-Delta:
I decided to increase the energy input in order to stabilize Erebus's core.
I also introduced nano-particles so as to enhance energy absorption.
But then suddenly, the unthinkable occurred:
*Radiation Alert*
At 14:43:10, a massive radiation surge erupted from Erebus. Levels exceeded safety protocols by 300%.
As the monitor system begins to bring out alert and the radiation readings with what is being affected
Initial Readings
- Gamma radiation: 500 Sv/h (5 times lethal dose)
- Neutron radiation: 1000 rem/h (immediate damage to living tissue)
- Ionizing radiation: 100 Gy/h (catastrophic DNA damage)

I'm shaken. My hands tremble as I write. I never anticipated this.
My thoughts began racing as I was covered in guilt,
_ Have I unleashed a catastrophe?, Can I contain this? , What have I done?_
I knew actions had to be taken and self blaming wouldn't solve the crisis going on as I began the scientists to Initiate the emergency shutdown. And to also activate the radiation scrubbers.
Then Evacuate the personnel.
Current Status
Radiation levels slowly decreasing, but still critical.
Erebus's Status:
Energy signature fluctuating wildly.
Although I'm still concerned as to what caused the radiation what exactly is the source of radiation surge. And the Long-term consequences it might bring.
I knew the next steps was to Assess damage and then Consult with experts like Dr Claire so I can Re-evaluate experiment protocols.
But regardless I couldn't help but ask my self,
