As Ghain spoke, Cain listened attentively, his gaze lingering on Ghain's lips as he spoke. The word "Kiss him" kept playing in his head over and over again when Ghain turned to him, accidentally brushing his lips. He froze. The restraint he had been holding onto loosened. He pushed Ghain to the ground, pinning his hands above his head.
"I want to kiss you," Cain muttered, his lips close to Ghain's.

Ghain was taken aback by Cain's confession, his hands placed above his head, unable to move. Ghain looked deep into Cain's eyes. He knew it was forbidden to love a man; his mother would be disappointed if she found out. But for the first time, someone treated him as a vampire and not just a slave. He was also aware that his restraint towards Cain was very thin, as he couldn't think rationally, especially due to his drunken state.
