Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

Chapter 1: An Unexpected Fate

On a dark, desolate street, the flickering light of a broken lamppost barely illuminated three figures. Two armed men aimed at a young man with black hair and glasses, who was on his knees, struggling to breathe. His trembling hands pressed against a wound on his abdomen, trying to stem the bleeding.

Despite the shouting, passersby averted their eyes, ignoring the scene as if it were just another part of the city's routine.

"What are you waiting for, kid?" growled one of the men, a burly figure holding a bloodied knife. "Hand over everything you've got, or I'll kill you right here. Don't try to act smart!"

The young man lifted his gaze, his eyes faintly glinting under the dim light. With every passing second, he felt life slipping away. Yet, instead of fear, a bitter smile formed on his lips.

"You know what? Screw you… you bastard… ha, ha…"

His laughter, weak but defiant, echoed through the empty street, unsettling the robbers. Before they could react, the young man's eyes dimmed, and his body slumped lifelessly to the ground.

"Is… is he dead?" one of the robbers murmured, taking a step back.

"Let's get the hell out of here!" shouted the other, visibly shaken. Without a second glance, both fled into the darkness.

The young man's body lay there, motionless, as the city carried on, indifferent to his tragedy.

In a sterile, silent room, two men stood before a glowing green capsule. Inside, the young man's body floated, suspended in a viscous liquid and connected to numerous cables.

One of the men, an older individual with white hair and a cigarette between his lips, spoke calmly. His sharp, calculating eyes never left the capsule.

"Here he is," Amado said, exhaling a cloud of smoke. "A basic model. He doesn't have half the power of the others, but he won't pose a threat to you, Jigen. There's no chance he'll ever challenge your position as Kara's leader."

The other man, much younger, with his hair tied in a ponytail and lifeless eyes, observed the capsule with indifference, analyzing every detail of the body inside.

"And you think he'll be useful?" Jigen asked in a cold tone.

"He's not as strong as Kashin Koji, but he could prove valuable… if he survives, that is. Once he wakes up, I'll send him to you. Give him the same speech you gave Code. Maybe he'll turn out just as loyal."

Jigen nodded slowly.

"Fine. But if he's useless, I'll dispose of him immediately."

As the two spoke, the young man inside the capsule began to regain consciousness. His thoughts were muddled, as if waking from a nightmare. However, the men's voices reached him clearly.

Jigen? Amado? No way… Why is this happening to me?

Terror gripped him as he realized where he was.

This… this is the world of Boruto. I'm in Kara. What the hell am I doing here? Jigen… that guy is one of the strongest. How am I supposed to survive in a place like this?

Fragments of the anime flashed through his mind—the battle between Naruto and Jigen, the Baryon Mode that had defeated him.

How far did the series go? Daemon, Ada… I'm in a den of monsters!

He tried to calm himself, though panic still gnawed at his mind.

Breathe… breathe… There's nothing I can do right now. I'll have to accept this new reality. If I'm an android, maybe I have some advantage. But… why me? What did I do to deserve this?

Suddenly, a red light flickered inside the capsule, accompanied by a faint hum.

"Looks like it's activating sooner than expected," Amado remarked, glancing at the monitors with interest. "He's still in a latent state, but his body is responding quickly."

"It doesn't matter," Jigen replied coldly. "Take him to my chamber. Let him wake up there. If he decides to kill him, that's not my problem."

The young man inside the capsule heard those words and felt his fear morph into a quiet determination.

If this is my new beginning, I'll have to learn to survive. No matter what it takes.
