Love was hopeful that her request sounded natural, but she had to admit that she wasn't the best actress. Her saving grace appeared to be that her naturally emotionless and stilted speech meant that her awkwardness was simply put down to her usual nature.
"The research lab, huh?" Kit stroked his chin thoughtfully. "I don't see a reason why not, but they won't appreciate being disturbed tonight. I'll take you there tomorrow after morning training and introduce you then, alright?"
Love nodded in affirmation. Tomorrow was fine.
"Great, well for now I'll show you back to your room, there's a detour we can take on the way." At Kit's words Love stood up to follow him from the room, with Till just behind them.
"You can stay Lieutenant. I'll see you during morning training." The Captain dismissed him coolly with a slight wave of his hand.
