He did not exactly find a 'closet' that had the clothes he was looking for but on the bed right where April had sat was a note
[The command name for the intelligence on the Hova is Jonah, Flight command: Jonah, to the sea. speak Jonah once on to activate it. we will buy you time, I had to and am currently helping block their memory of changing or interfering with the craft. I had to risk it for a moment to say goodbye, there is always emergency food on it. Go now and you can read the rest of the letter later. You might not be him, but you might be a victim and so there might be a way to save him, Merim won't see that.]
'Hova, that must be the craft I saw ... we? who's we? Domnik? ... but I still don't know the exit or where the craft is and I'm probably running out of time, wait no I do how? April? is this her ability she did say in the note shes holding their memories of interfering with the Craft. When? when we locked eyes? it does not matter now, she has given me a chance and I have to take it.
Ian quickly gave up on searching for the closet, clothes and the thoughts of how April's ability worked. He got out of his room and followed the mental image in his mind implanted by April. No one stopped him till he made it outside the ship, it was massive at least five times the Hova. 'Were there really only twelve people on board?'
Ian thought to himself. The ship's lights enlightened the immediate area around it and not so far from it to his left was the craft, Hova. But right in front of the exit stood four figures. One had hair and facial features resembling Nai, a woman. To her right an old looking guy with black hair with whites to its edges. To her immediate left a taller woman with auburn hair and mediocre facial features, to the first woman's far left a clean shaven brown skinned young looking boy.
Merim, Yhon, Janta and Teren. "Boy ... are you even? What are you exactly?" Yhon shouted a slight grin playing on his face, this time however not the humorous teasing one.
"I-I already told you all, I did not do this on purpose I can swear it-"
"You can swear it?" Merim exclaimed, "You killed my brother and are riding his body like some flesh toy!" She was fuming but also a scent of guilt in her voice.
"It does not have to be this way, yer can go back and be our prisoner till we get back then yer fate can be decided" Janta joined in.
"Prisoner? Does it really require the four of you to take me prisoner" Ian's heart could sink no longer, so he spoke fully and confident at the word he said. 'Even if I die ...'
"Aye! four seems excess, but we know little innocent April will try and help you but even with her scary ability ... she should not be able to withstand these many, trust me we are not actively participating just assurance" Yhon replied. Teren was surprisingly quiet.
"I told you all, I just wanted to go back home ... April saw something can't the rest of you?"
"She saw yer pretty face is all-"
"Home? and which earth is that ? the one before or after it got destroyed three thousand years ago" Merim still shouted angry, her calm cold composure gone, "Whatever you are ,"being", there's no talk of prisoner you pay the price tonight,"
The words he'd just heard almost brought him to his knees, any other time would have completely given him absolute hopelessness but now the rush and survivability instinct that had brought him here kept him standing. He did not respond or wish to process it now, 'three thousand year ... ' it echoed in his mind almost like from a far off distance.
'But how exactly am I supposed to get out of this? I had no plans only the rush to leave! I was cornered and had no idea! was it wise to rely on April alone and the proclaimed "We"?'
"The only reason you are not already dead is because we were cautious if you had any other abilities other than body stealing and didn't want to attack inside the ship"
Ian looked back at the ship then back to Merim, "Quite stupid to admit that when I'm still standing at the exit ... "
Merim chuckled, "Like I said we were cautious"
Instantly Ian felt big hands grab at his clothes and body and toss him like weightless plastic over the four figures and further from the Hova. He hit the ground hard, and his skin broke at several spots, he was already bleeding! The four figures of Merim, Yhon, Janta and Teren had followed his trajectory with their gaze and body so now they faced him from above sprawled on the ground.
Ian looked back at the exit opening of the ship to see a muscular figure walking back into the ship like it was uninterested in the engagement. 'Kijan?' Ian easily recognized.
"Too cautious it seems" The silent Teren finally contributed, "You have no one, you don't even have yourself it seems"
Merim raised her arm and index and middle finger then, pointing at Nai, dragged them towards herself instantly appearing right above Nai. She crouched and lifted his head by his locks and smashed it back to the ground, blood came flooding out of Nai's nose when Merim raised it again a heavy look of guilt and resolve was written over her face as she stared at her brother's face. Merim's face twitched before repeating the action again. 'Ruthless, how could she be this ruthless?I have her brother's face' Ian thought as he slowly started to accept he was to die here and now. He closed his eyes and memories of back home, his father mother his sister when they were younger his dumb roommate, the game he spent too much time on instead of living life, he tried to think of the girl he had a thing for his senior year of high school but it was April's face that came. For a moment he was shocked and angry thinking she also planted this, but he gave up so he thought of her in passing with all his other memories.
Inside the 'cockpit' of the ship on one of the lowers seats the man with long black silky hair and elongated facial features sighed, "How beautiful it would have been If left to blossom on its own" After saying this he raised his arm and his index finger rose from the closed fist, it went down again to be held by the thumb while the remaining fingers rose to form the number three.
In what seemed like one of the rooms of the ship a black haired girl with eyes closed and tears running on her cheeks raised her hands to her temples as blood slowly oozed from one of her nostrils.
When Merim raised Nai's head presumably to smash it on the ground again she froze for a second before raising he left arm, pointing the direction of the Hova, and slightly dragging her index and middle fingers towards herself. These all happened in a span of two seconds before she appeared next to the craft .
Janta, Yhon and Teren observed this before glancing at each other and saying at the same time ,"April"
"Teren, you go!" Janta shouted at the boy. Teren reluctantly went with a grunt back towards the ship's entrance. Janta then turned to Yhon, "Merim should still be more than enough but let's still go." They did not run, only walked hurriedly.
Back at Merim and Nai, Merim chuckled, "That annoying little girl, what has she accomplished?" She yanked Nai's head back so that she could see his face directly, "You know even though I did love my brother, I did not appreciate his weakness ... but now at the very best that has accompanied you, whatever you are you are really not smart are you?"
Domnik had raised the probability of April penetrating Merim's mental barriers for a chance to control her actions. However, considering how young April was and her level. She could only control Merim for that two seconds. That alone had caused a tenuous strain on her brain, her initial intention was to first get Merim to teleport both her and Nai to the inside of the craft, only controlling Merim. Then get her out and teleport the craft. But controlling Merim's one action, had nearly exhausted her she was not out of options however. Having already created a temporary path through the broken mental barriers of Merim, April took all her thoughts and intense feelings of saving and protecting Nai and implanted them into Merim's mind. These thoughts would have the perfect affinity with her as they would synergize with the thoughts of her saving her brother, this was April's thought process.
Implanting these thoughts gradually over time would have an imprint on the target's mind and a guided development of actions, however this many and this intense were all left to chaos and subjective interpretation.
Merim's pupils dilated as she scanned Nai's bloody face her facial expressions changing from confusion to anger to sadness, she then turned to face the approaching Yhon and Janta.
Janta's head twitched backwards slightly, "April? To this extent?"
"No, help from a certain passive mathematician"
they glanced at each other, brows creasing before turning back to face the ship, "Sigh, it can't be helped" Janta spoke before arching forward her right leg bent and supported on her tiptoes and blasting from Yhon's side , it seemed like she had either ran or jumped , "At the next instant she impacted with Merim.
The impact sent the both of them back colliding with the Hova causing the heavy metallic craft to tilt almost like it was about to topple over.
Merim exclaimed and cursed, "You stupid bitch, my body's still mine and why did you bring me closer to the ship .... I tried to signal you to not act, it would affect my balance!" She had an angry look on her face then a happy condescending smile, Her left arm stretched out and grasped the Hova with her palm, her fingers spread wide open. In the next instant Merim fell backwards, there was no ship to support her back and no boy held by the locks on her right hand they had both vanished.
