2. **Fate and Destiny Guide the Way**: The protagonist will be subtly guided toward the opportunities that align with the choices they made before each jump. However, these opportunities won't always be obvious and can sometimes present in unexpected forms.
3. **Choices Are Final**: Every major decision made in one jump will carry over to the next. The powers, allies, and knowledge the protagonist gains will stay with them, but they must also live with any consequences of their actions.
4. **The Cycle of Rebirth**: The protagonist will retain all memories and powers from previous jumps without any loss.
5. **Interference by Jumpchan**: At key moments, Jumpchan may appear in dreams, visions, or as a voice of intuition, offering cryptic advice or presenting difficult choices. However, she will not directly intervene unless the protagonist proves incapable of advancing.
6. **Challenges and Sacrifices**: Not every power or item comes without a price. Some abilities may require sacrifices—be it trust, resources, or other costs. The protagonist must weigh the costs before embracing new strengths. Memories are never sacrificed.
7. **Death is Not an Escape**: Should the protagonist fall in battle or succumb to danger, they will be revived at great cost. They exist as a disembodied consciousness until the jump time is over, and any choices/items not earned before death are forfeited.
8. **Origins, Backgrounds, Race, and Some Non-Immediate Power-Giving Perks are Received Instantly**: The protagonist will receive these aspects right away without needing to earn them.
9. **Affinity for Choices is Also Given**: The protagonist is compatible with the abilities chosen and won't be limited by incompatibility.
