Gusty wind whipped around the summit of Mount Arid as Jay, Chenoo, and some of Jay's Zombie Legion made their way up the rocky path. Each step felt charged with purpose. Jay glanced at Chenoo, who stood solidly beside him. "Hey, Chenoo, did you find any traces of wolf packs?"
Chenoo lifted its arm, pointing toward the peak of the mountain. Jay nodded, understanding that Chenoo was using its Aura skill to track down monsters. Together, they had already taken down around five wolf packs, adding to his growing dead body collection in his inventory which was close to almost 6,000 monsters .
As they approached the area Chenoo had indicated, Jay's anticipation mounted. However, what lay before them was unexpected—a massive tunnel carved into the mountain. The entrance loomed ominously, dark and inviting, as if beckoning them to uncover the secrets hidden within.
Jay exchanged a glance with Chenoo, a mix of excitement and caution flooding his senses. "Let's check it out," Jay said, steeling himself for whatever awaited them in the depths of the mountain. Together with Chenoo and his zombies, he prepared to ventured into the Tunnel , It was pitch black inside but it wasn't a probelm for Jay,chenoo and the Zombie Legion as they all have night vision .
As Jay ventured deeper into the cave, he stumbled upon a wide open section where a group of around 400 wolves slept huddled together. A grin spread across his face at the sight. "Zombies, attack!" he commanded, and his undead legion surged forward, moving with surprising speed as they bit into the sleeping wolves.
The sudden onslaught startled the wolves awake, and their startled howls filled the cavern. But the zombies, driven by mindless instincts, continued their relentless assault. Jay watched with a mix of fascination and amusement as some of the bitten wolves began to transform into mindless zombies themselves, ready to join the fray against their former comrades.
Sitting at the side of the chaos, Jay turned to Chenoo. "Is it just me, or are the wolves we've been fighting getting weaker the higher up we go in this mountain?"
Chenoo nodded in agreement, its expression unreadable but its body language confirming Jay's observation.
"Hmm, but at least it's quite entertaining to see my zombies infect those of lower ranks," Jay said with a chuckle. "This is essentially turning into an endless, replenishable army!"
With a determined look, Jay stood up. "Now, it's time to collect their souls and the dead bodies." He raised his hand, and the lifeless forms of the wolves began to disappear into his inventory space. Simultaneously, he activated his Arise Spirit skill, carefully storing all the souls in his system space.
After 20 minutes ,In the tunnel walls were slick with fresh blood, and the ground was littered with mangled corpses—twisted remains of both zombies and wolves.
Only 230 zombies remained, standing in eerie silence, their decayed faces all turned toward their master. They swayed slightly, awaiting his next command, their undead minds empty of thought but brimming with loyalty. The wolves had fought savagely, but they were either slain or scattered, their corpses joining the gruesome tapestry at Jay's feet.
Jay, unbothered by the carnage, stood in the center of the slaughter. His dark cloak fluttered gently in the mountain breeze, as he summoned his system interface with a flick of his hand. A glowing screen materialized before him

As Jay examined the number of corpses he had gathered, a sinister plan began to form in his mind. He intended to raise them all at once, but only after meeting up with the other squads he had deployed throughout the mountain. Each group was tasked with hunting and killing every creature that roamed these heights and the forest below. Only when their task was complete were they to regroup with him.
Opening his Lock-On skill, a glowing, spectral map materialized before him, showing the positions of his allies. All four squads were steadily closing in on his location, just as planned. Jay's grin widened, pleased with their efficiency. They had swept through the mountain's monsters at a remarkable pace—faster than he anticipated. The instructions were clear: eliminate everything in their path, leave no creature alive, and only then make their way to him.
Thanks to his Connection with his summons, Jay's squads could sense his presence growing stronger the closer they approached him. But the reverse wasn't possible. With so many summons under his control, Jay's awareness extended only to those within visible range. His magic allowed for domination of the undead en masse, but the bond between him and his legions was distant—faint, like whispers in the wind.
As the map faded from view, Jay took a step forward, moving out of the dark, damp tunnel that had served as his temporary base. Beside him, the shadowy form of Chenoo emerged—one of his most loyal creations, a hulking, frostbitten spirit with icy claws and red eyes glowing with malice. Chenoo drifted silently at his side.
Behind them, the Zombie-Undead Legion shuffled in grim unison, their decayed forms dragging along the ground with unsettling moans. The stench of rot and death clung to the air as the army marched behind their master.
Finally, they stepped out of the tunnel and into the open. Jay squinted at the sudden shift from darkness to daylight. The cold wind tugged at his cloak, and the snow beneath his boots crunched softly. He paused at the edge of the rocky outcrop, taking in the breathtaking view.
"Wow," he muttered to himself, his glowing-blue eyes gleaming with a hint of admiration. "Quite the view from up here."
Below him stretched a dense forest that sprawled across the mountainside, shrouded in a thin layer of mist. Jay stood high above it all, a solitary figure in the vast expanse of wilderness. It was rare for him to take a moment to appreciate such sights, but even he wasn't immune to the grandeur of the world—though in his mind, it was a world waiting to be conquered.
He folded his arms, standing still for a moment, letting the mountain wind wash over him. But his thoughts remained sharp. Soon, his other squads would arrive, and once they merged their forces, he would raise the thousands of corpses they'd gathered. The combined might of his undead legion would be unstoppable.
The faint sounds of footsteps echoed from the distance, growing louder with every passing moment. Jay's grin returned. His squads were near. The pieces of his plan were falling perfectly into place.
He stood there, waiting patiently at the mountain's edge, Chenoo by his side, as the eerie moan of the undead behind him filled the air.
A few minutes later, Jay spotted a faint silhouette approaching from the forest below. As the figure came closer, the dark shape resolved into Pluto, one of his most trusted lieutenants. Pluto marched at the head of a small army of undead, his pale, skeletal form glinting under the dim mountain sunlight. Behind him, zombies trudged forward, dragging lifeless monster corpses through the snow, leaving bloody trails in their wake.
Pluto approached Jay and bowed his head slightly. "Hello, Master. I've returned. We hunted down every cowardly beast that fled the earlier battles down the mountain." He gestured toward the corpses behind him. "We managed to collect about 400 bodies for you, Master."
Jay nodded, a glimmer of satisfaction crossing his face. He watched as the zombies behind Pluto continued dragging the mangled bodies closer. With a flick of his hand, Jay activated his Inventory skill, and the air shimmered as the corpses vanished one by one, sucked into the ethereal space.
"Well done, Pluto. Congratulations on being the first to return." Jay gave him an approving nod. "Now let's wait for the others, and once we regroup, we'll head to the summit and kill the Crowned White Wolf."
The two of them stood silently, watching the mountain pass for the arrival of the other squads. Not long after, Jay spotted two figures moving swiftly through the mist—Seraphina and Wynther, both leading their undead legions. As they drew closer, Jay noticed that their forces were dragging a significant haul of monster corpses.
The two lieutenants stopped before Jay, bowing briefly. "We've eliminated every creature in our assigned regions,Jay," Seraphina said, her stunning red eyes glowing with quiet pride. Wynther, silent as always, gave a nod in agreement.
Jay scanned the heaps of bodies they had gathered—1600 in total. Impressed, he quickly summoned his inventory and stored the corpses. The familiar surge of necrotic energy from his growing stash brought a sense of satisfaction. He was building a force that no mortal—or monster—could stand against.
As Jay was about to turn back, his gaze shifted to a limping figure approaching from the distance. The Alpha Skeletal Wolf King hobbled into view, its once-fearsome frame marred by battle. Bones were cracked and missing, and part of its skull was shattered, exposing jagged remnants. The undead wolf's legion trailed behind it, but their numbers were few, and the monsters they carried amounted to only 100 bodies.
Jay frowned slightly, a hint of disappointment crossing his face. The skeletal wolf had underperformed compared to the other squads, but it was also the weakest among his creations. Still, it had completed its task, and that was enough. Jay sighed and approached the injured wolf.
"You didn't bring much, but I suppose this will do," Jay muttered. He raised his hand, black tendrils of magic curling around his fingers. The air grew cold as he channeled his Medium Bone Spike Regeneration spell. Dark energy seeped into the wolf's broken frame, and with a series of sickening cracks, bones began knitting themselves back together. Missing limbs regenerated, and the shattered fragments of its skull reformed until it was whole again.
The Alpha Wolf King gave a low, rattling growl of gratitude, bowing its massive head toward Jay.
Jay stepped back, satisfied with the restoration. "Rest now. You've done well." He cast a glance at his assembled lieutenants and their legions, all standing silently, waiting for his next command.
The time for idle waiting was over. Jay's undead forces were stronger than ever, and the Crowned White Wolf awaited them at the peak.
Jay opened his system inventory page , as glowing light screen appeared in front of him .

"Now, finally... I can use all these bodies to summon my new legions," Jay whispered, his voice filled with cold delight.
