"I need to talk to Jamal, something bad has happened in the palace, something very bad," Maryam said into the phone, her voice urgent.
"You can't speak to the boss right now; he is not here," Zaynab said into the phone, hoping that the princess would just listen and let it go.
"You don't understand, I said something terrible is happening in the palace, and I need to let him know," Maryam yelled into the phone, pacing the length of her room.
Zaynab removed the phone from her ear and placed it out of range; there was no way she was allowing the brat to ruin her eardrums.
"I will tender your message to him when he is aw... I mean when he is back," Zaynab said into the phone and hung up the call before the brat could put in another word.
God knows the girl is very smart, and she had almost slipped and said when the boss was awake, then she would know something was wrong, then Jamal would have been pissed at her.
