Lost in the dark woods, the fog grew thicker, and I couldn't find my way back. In the distance, I spotted the silhouette of a large mansion. "Was this always here?" I wondered as I approached. Desperate for shelter, I knocked on the door. When no one answered, I cautiously entered, only for the door to slam shut behind me. Startled, I froze and called out, "Is anyone here?"
To my surprise, a tall, handsome man appeared at the top of the stairs. His presence was captivating. "Who are you?" he asked. "I'm Angelica, and I got lost..." I explained nervously. The man introduced himself as Charles and invited me to stay for a cup of tea, offering a strange yet irresistible hospitality. His mansion, though old and grand, had an eerie stillness that made me uneasy.
