They looked as if they were surrounded by the five pillars of light and from them they saw five knights. They all wore the same black steel armor with red capes with a gold tree on the back. The only thing that stood them apart was their helmets as they reassembled animals. Their helmets were of an eagle, wolf, tiger, lion, and dragon.
"Who are you people?" asked Rize.
"Rize Alistair, you are hereby sentenced to death by the order of King Drazel, God of the Yggdrasil," said Eagle Knight.
"Excuse me?" questioned John as he and Rize were confused.
"Rize, you are sentenced to death for your being a powerful demon known as a devil and you've violated this law by entering the Human Realm," said The Lion Knight.
"Sorry, But last I checked I was still human and I do not care for your king," said Rize.
"Silence! You dare speak out you're god name in vain," said The Lion Knight.
"It seems we might have to put our match on hold," said John.
"Get ready for some light," said Rize.
"Sure thing," said John.
Rize raises Excalibur and creates a flash. So, he and John escape out of the arena before the knights can see again after getting flashed.
"It seems they got away," said The Dragon Knight.
"Damn it," said The Lion Knight.
"No matter they will show up eventually," said The Eagle Knight.
"For now we should make sure the people get to safety and begin our hunt for the devil," said The Lion Knight.
"Yes, I shall allow time flow again," said The Eagle Knight.
Time would start running again and people look into the arena and see the knights are gone as if they were never there. But before they could react they heard the demon alarm to tell everyone to head for their local shelters as these strange knights began their hunt for Rize.
John was running through the back alleys trying to stay hidden as he knew he be targeted by these knights.
"Ah, where did he run off to?" questioned John. "We got separated."
John stops as he sees the Lion Knight appear in front of him.
"Damn, one of them caught up," said John.
"Where is the devil," said The Lion Knight.
"Sorry, but I rather keep that to myself than tell you," said John.
He gets his sword ready to fight.
"You're a fool to challenge a Celestial Knight of Yggdrasil," said The Lion Knight.
"I will take my chances. I will fight for my friends and comrades," said John.
"Then prepare to die," said The Lion Knight.
The Knight summons an energy spear made of lighting and launches it at John. He gets ready to block it with his blade but all of a sudden a wall of ice appears in front of John.
"Well, this was unexpected," said John.
"The hell?" questioned The Lion Knight.
They heard footsteps and saw Lizius walking from another alleyway.
"What going on here?" asked Lizius.
"These knights have appeared and they are after Rize," said John.
"I see," said Lizius. "I guess, they must be up to no good."
Lizius draws his Esper and gets ready to help John.
"It's two against one right now. Leave unless you don't value your life," said John.
"You think I will surrender a Knight of Yggdrasil," said The Lion Knight.
The Lion Knight sensed something was behind and looked and saw Cyrus jumping out of a shadow and kicking the Lion Knight's head with his right foot which made The Lion fall.
"About time you showed up for work," said John.
"I thought we were on vacation," said Cyrus.
He Jumped back when he saw the Lion Knight get up. The Lion Knight's helmet falls off revealing their identity. The Lion Knight was a female. She had long purple hair, light-colored skin, and green eyes. She had a scar in the middle of her face.
"Wait, she looks familiar," said Lizius.
"You know her prince?" asked John.
"Not personal, but she won the last Celestial Tree," said Lizius. "She was a warrior knight that came from the magic city of Val."
"What? She won the last tournament?" asked John.
"You're all going to die here," said The Lion Knight.
"Sorry, but I rather keep living," said Cyrus. "Plus, you are outnumbered."
"Shut up you trickster," said The Lion Knight.
"Sorry, but I use what I can to win a fight," said Cyrus. "That's how we boys from downtown do if Judas was here to say."
"I am sorry, but I can't fight a woman," said Lizius.
"Understandable," said John. "But you can help defend from her?"
"Yes," said Lizius.
"I believe in gender equality," said Cyrus.
The Lion Knight lunges at Cyrus and he slips into her shadow and appears behind her. She gets ready with an energy spear and attacks Cyrus again, but he dodges it with ease.
"These more with a shadow than using it for travel," said Cyrus. He throws a knife at her shadow and she is paralyzed in place.
"Prince," said John.
"Yeah," said Lizius.
Lizius freezes her in a block of ice up to her head so she can't escape.
"Good, work my vice-captain," said John.
"All in a day's work captain," said Cyrus. "A good job prince."
"Thank you," said Lizius.
The Lion Knight looks angry at them.
"What next?" asked Cyrus.
"We need some info on these knights," said John.
"Alright, so miss? We need to know more about your people?" asked Cyrus.
The Lion Knight spits in Cyrus' face.
"She a tough one," said John.
Cyrus got annoyed by that. He takes his left hand and flicks her nose hard.
"Listen, you don't want to make me mad now or you will regret this," said Cyrus.
"Make me then," said The Lion Knight.
"Alright, then," said Cyrus.
He goes to his shadow and pulls out a large feather. He starts wiggling on the side of her neck and she starts to laugh while being tickled by the feather.
"Now, tell us," said John.
They notice the ice is cracking and breaking from her bare strength.
"Shit," said Cyrus.
"I got you now," said The Lion Knight.
She would slip on a piece of ice on the ground and fall on top of Cyrus. She ends up locking lips with him which makes him jolt up fast and cover her face as she goes red on her face from their kiss.
"What the hell is your problem?" asked Cyrus.
"What you mean, we just kissed," said The Lion Knight.
"You a child? It was by accident," said Cyrus.
"In Val tradition when a man kisses a woman it is a form of engagement. But to see it was a real thing is a surprise," said Lizius.
"Congrats," said John, jokingly.
"How about we just get out of here in her confusion," said Cyrus.
"Good plan," said John.
They would leave The Lion Knight there confused by what happened.
