Rize and Judas were on the top floor and Rize unleashed a huge blade blast at Judas who countered with his own which blew up the top of the building of the manor where they stood. Rize see Judas has used Ultima's petals where it formed a cage around them. He even made the inside full of the laser between them.
They see in the distance from Raze's house.
"He resorted to using Ultima's Petals," said Raze.
"Rize, seemed to be a bit stronger than before," said Mugetsu.
"A lot has happened in the short time you last saw him," said Raze.
"He could fight a Knight of Yggdrasil. Alone no less, he truly is strong," said Ion.
They see John's group has finally come to see what going on.
"You found her," said Jack.
"He has told me what is going on," writes Nightingale.
"Chaos is out of control and the other royal guards are gone on missions around the other realms," said Jack.
"He must been plotting for a while for this. Chaos has never been like King Drazel," she writes.
"Wait, Miss Nightingale? You know of King Drazel?" asked Cyrus.
"I will explain everything later for now, stand back and wait for them to finish," she writes.
"I think I'm starting to paint the picture," said John.
Rize and Judas stood there. Rize can see Judas was starting to seem tired since he never had the petals out this long.
"It's time we finish this," said Judas.
"Yeah, in one attack," said Rize.
Judas starts to charge up Ultima for one final attack. Rize looks and then raises both Excalibur and Ragnarok and it looks like he is using something new.
"What is he doing?" questioned Judas in thought.
Judas would see his body was in engulfed in red and blue flames and looked like a giant bird made of fire. He saw Rize right at its core and he flew up a bit and went through the top of the cage elsewhere they could see him from Raze's house. Judas releases a huge blade beam at Rize. Rize uses the giant firebird and flies towards the blast which collides with the blast.
"He dumb," said Judas before he was shocked.
He watched as the firebird went right through his blast with ease and would look even bigger as he flew closer to Judas.
"Ragnarok does not just cancel my attack. It absorbs my attack energy no wonder I was tired already. I lost," said Judas.
Rize's attack hits Judas and makes them both crash down into the woods creating a valley where the battle between them is over.
A few days passed and Rize woke up all bandaged up from his fight with Judas. He saw he was in his old bedroom in Raze's house which had become a guest room. He gets up and heads downstairs.
He enters the living room where he sees Raze in casual clothes making breakfast for a lot of people by the look of it. He enters where he sees Nightingale, Issac, and his surprised Mugetsu.
"Mugetsu?" questioned Rize.
They all heard him and looked at him.
"Rize, you're awake," said Mugetsu.
"Yeah, but why are you here?" asked Rize.
"Well, Lord Azazel was very upset with Mugetsu. He sent me here to make sure you were alright as he sensed you have been fighting," said Mugetsu. "But it was hard to find you as if your powers disappeared."
"The Seal," said Rize.
He looks and sees it is fully gone now.
"There no point in sealing your powers again," Nightingale writes.
"Where is Judas?" asked Rize.
"After he woke up, he and Yumi went off somewhere it has been a day since I last saw them," said Raze. "But we have to talk about something else Rize."
They hear Anna walking down the stairs yawning, she is wearing pink pajamas.
"Morning," said Anna as she was still rubbing her eyes.
She bumps into Rize. She looks up at him and Rize sees her left eye is matching her right one.
"Rize, you're awake," said Anna with a smile.
"Anna? What happened to your eye?" asked Rize.
"Well," said Anna as she looks back.
He looks behind her and he sees another girl who is about the same age as her and even looks very identical to Anna. She had long blue hair light-colored skin with blue eyes. She was wearing purple pajamas. This was Rize's second Esper, Ragnarok. She looked at Rize and he expected her to be like Anna.
"What are looking at creep?" asked Ragnarok.
Rize was surprised by that.
"Rag, I told you this our user," said Anna.
"Quit calling me that," said Ragnarok.
She got mad at Anna for calling her Rag.
"Now, ladies. No fighting," said Raze.
"She inherited Rize's old attitude," said Issac.
They all sat at the table and ate breakfast.
"So, now you are awake. Maybe you could help us name this Esper," said Raze.
"I gave her some names but she hates them," said Anna.
"Well, her name is Anna too," writes Nightingale. "I think you may have figured it out but your Espers used to share one body. But now they have split into two beings."
"Now your eye changing makes a little sense," said Rize.
He takes a bite and thinks a bit as he goes off her personality as he thinks she wants a tough cool name.
"Must be tough," said Mugetsu.
"How does the name Alexis sound?" asked Rize. "Alexis Ragnarok, it has a good ring to it."
"Alexis? Alright, that sounds better than what she has been calling me," said Ragnarok, who goes by the name Alexis."
"Now, that you are awake we can begin our meeting," said Issac.
"Yes, Chaos has probably figured out we managed to get to you which explains those creatures," said Raze.
"So, he knew we would look for you," said Issac.
"Chaos?" questioned Rize.
"I shall explain later," writes Nightingale.
Judas was standing on the roof of Lord Patrick's Abandoned Manor looking down at the valley with Yumi sitting on the edge. He was wearing a suit with bandages on his face and Yumi wore her casual clothes.
"So, what are we going to do?" asked Yumi.
"Probably something very dumb and may cost us our lives," said Judas.
Later that day, everyone gathered in John's office. The Knights of Yggdrasil, are now listening to Nightingale. John, Cyrus, Lizius, Ion and Rize. Everyone came but Judas.
"We can begin," wrote Nightingale on a whiteboard in the room.
"What about Judas?" asked Issac.
"I think he does not need to know a lot from this," she writes. "Plus, he already knows."
"Where should we begin?" questioned Raze.
"Now, allow me to piece this. The Celestial Tree Tournament, is a way for you Celestial Knights to add new knights to the Yggdrasil Order," said John.
"Correct," She writes.
"So in other words the Celestial Knights is a bigger organization than The DHO," said Cyrus.
"That's right, you guys were honor students after all, and gather that from little information," said Raze.
"So, the tournament was meant as a way to test our skills," said Lizius.
Both Rize and Ion seemed clueless about what was going on.
"The DHO is created to deal with problems in areas while The Celestial Knight deals with threats in the world which is too much for The DHO," writes Nightingale. "The Royal Guards, deal with threats that span across the realms of Luto."
Nightingale also made a tree diagram to explain better to Rize and Ion.
"I see now. So, this Chaos is a Royal Guard," said Rize. "An would be your higher-up, but what are you, Nightingale?"
"I am the right hand of King Drazel," she writes.
"So, in other words, she second in command," said John.
"That's why you were looking for her," said Cyrus.
"That's right, she able to overrule, Chaos," said Raze.
"So, what are we going to do now?" asked Rize. "It won't be long before Chaos does something."
They hear the door open to the room and see Judas enter the room. He and Rize stare at each other.
"You finally show up?" asked Rize.
"Well, yeah, and just in time then as you asked what we should do next," said Judas.
He walks over to Nightingale and hands her something. She looks and sees it is a necklace that is given to those who become Celestial Knights when they become part of the order.
"I resign from The Celestial Knight and DHO. I finally come to my senses and want to make that bastard pay for making me try to kill my brother. So, what we do next is simply Rize. We take the fight to Chaos," said Judas. The Celestial Knights were shocked and even Nightingale did that.
"You're nuts, he's a Royal Guard," said Issac.
"Chaos may be tough. But I know he can be taken down," said Judas. "I rather fight him to death, than sit back and wait for him to put our world in danger."
"Then count me in," said Rize with a smile.
"I knew you would be on board," said Judas.
"This could be a good chance for us to change things," said John.
"I am in, I can allow this Chaos to destroy our world," said Lizius.
"Well if the boss man in," said Cyrus.
"I got nothing better to do," said Ion.
The Celestial Knights were clueless about what to say. Nightingale begins to wipe off the board with an eraser and begins to write something.
"Then you should come up with a plan. I have an idea, I will give you a letter that gives an order to the Commander of The Celestial Knights to not take orders from Chaos at least you have an army on your side."
"Then this might work," said Judas.
"Yeah, let's go and knock Chaos block off," said Rize.
Meanwhile in a Realm far from there where the Celestial Tree Yggdrasil stood a man was watching from a crystal ball and saw what was going on in the shadows which was Chaos.
"Then come and do so, I wait to see your face when I kill you," said Chaos with a laugh. (To Be Continued in Volume 3)
